What is recommended tools ? For example tiles or materials. Also where do you get samples ?
I have an A.A.S interior design degree But have fallen into the kitchen design world by starting my first job there while in school for 6 years now and have been trying to decide if I should start my own business with kitchen design and interior design primarily in the kitchen since that’s all I know lol, but I would like to know how much money do you think you need before you start the business and have you used houszz? Is that helpful? Any kore info I can’t find anyone around my age starting a design related business and your videos are really helpful
I think you should at least try! 6 years in the kitchen design industry is a lot of experience & knowledge under your belt! That could set you apart from other designers.
Regarding how much money to have saved: at least a couple thousand. You'll need to make sure you have enough money to live off by, pay the legal fees when first starting a business, buy any necessary software or laptop, etc. [I really like that question and I will get more in depth on a future video!]
I don't actually have a Houzz account, I've been meaning to have an account but haven't gotten around to it 😅

Okay!! What programs do you use? Do you use Revit, Autocad, or Sketchup? Or something else?
I used all of those! But right now I am only using SketchUp
