I gotta disagree I think they did. I think Hori showing us that the same old lady that ignored tenko was reaching out to someone new meant they were breaking the cycle. I can see where you would think otherwise though

It only takes one person for a cycle to change. We have another potential shigaraki before us, and it took one person to stop it. Just like it to one person (deku) to spark the change. As far as Izuku and Ochako goes, they like each other, and they vaguely know this. Others know as well. He wouldn't comfort/interact with others the way he interacted with her. Not a flat out confession, but the feelings are conveyed here. And a bold confession would be awkward here anyway
@@gameknight25 I agree the subtext of the chapter pretty heavily implies they are together, or at the very least the attraction is mutual. I think "You're my Hero!" line is the closest Deku can come to saying "I love you."
THIS WEEKS CHAPTER HAD ME PUNCHING THE SKY! what a great example of Hori just being to write an emotional moment without needing to hide behind flare and fights. this chapter was SO much better than the last few chapters, IMO. please let me know what you guys thought of it though! also are you happy with the ship being semi-confirmed or would you rather not think about that right now.... lol.

@@heavymetal9749 TWO BOMBS IN ONE CHAPTER! In all honesty though, I think Hori handled the expectations of the “ship” really well. He didn’t go too far in one direction so it shouldn’t upset people toooooo bad. Also toga being confirmed dead just hits so much harder since we never “saw her body”
Yeah like I’m hoping it’s 30 pages and we did see Endeavor’s vision on ch 357 and we did see Deku and Ochaco is holding hands which means it’s possible that they’ve been a couple since Ochaco reveals to Toga that she’s in love with Deku on ch 394 and that can be possible final chapter seeing Deku and Class A all finally graduate UA now that can be a happy ending for MHA
I would LOVE THIS. if we’re not getting a sequel announcement I would really love to see them as fleshed out by the author and not fan stuff. No offense to fan art but it hit different when the creator makes it.

too bad we didn’t get much for the goodbye party for aoyama but we did saw that Eri came to the party and started singing with jirou. I could imagine how the party would’ve been like as a fan
I think the ending of my hero academia is going to be more like an origin story since if there is going to be a sequel, it might be when they are already pro heroes. Also this new mysterious character might be a sign of the quirk doomsday theory since base on how his family left him for years locked in a basement with his mouth sewn shut, he wouldn't have survived for a couple of years with just some bread and especially his mout sewn shut. He must have a powerful quirk that kept him alive. If there would ever be a sequel, I think it would focus on finding a way how to stop the quirk singularity since it is still a looming threat. And now that I think about it, without All For One, there is no one to keep quirks in check anymore as quirks keep getting stronger in each generation just like what Dr.Ujiko said many chapters ago.
That would be the realistic progression. I guess there’s going to be a couple special announcements with the final chapter so hopefully we’ll get good news!
I initially was pretty sure but this one chapter really made me question the need for one. If the series were to end here it would be great but we have one more chapter so only time will tell! I know someone said earlier in the comments that Hori said no, but I haven’t seen that interview myself yet.

Honestly not gonna lie This chapter feel like there's some more questions needed to be answered But because we got one more chapter This story feels really incomplete and unfinished like this is the story of how deku became the greatest hero It doesn't feel like that at all Something hollow and not fully explored Because if i know one thing about sequel or in universe events thanks to dragon Ball There always be a new threat to the world And unless deku has something to stop them i don't think he'll ever survived or ever achieve his dream And thats not pointing the fact that quirks are always evolving to the point of unstoppable so basically not only deku is Fuck but everyone else is

Which is a bit weird, I do love IzuOcha to be canon, but it just goes that a simple nudge by Izuku could make Ochaco tell the truth, which did makes sense but lack much genuine aspect of PTSD. I am glad that her classmates did hugged Ochaco, but the thing is... Ochaco didn't tell to everyone about what happened to her and Toga and only Izuku knew. In which, I am honestly disappointed. Because even so that a villain died just to save me, needs to be taken seriously, but now that it just got a little bit weird that they forgot it, kinda makes the situation less serious than what it is... It just doesn't make any sense... Honestly...
Also, her awakened quirk? It was not mentioned again, in which it is kinda awkward to be honest, and how awkward it was? Well, if you thought about it, Bakugo and Todoroki got their quirks mentioned to be different, as well as Mina... But only Toga knew and mentioned Ochaco's quirk than even Deku himself. In fact, Toga saved Ochaco but was left undefined due to Deku. It just doesn't make any sense at all...

No shit, its not about breaking the cycle of anything. This isnt Attack on Titan
