Well, technically, Mace Windu nor any Jedi, could executes the Order 65. Because except for the Order 66, the Orders implanted in the Clone Troopers, only can be activated by the Galatic Senate, meaning that the Order 65 could only be used by the Senate to makes a removal of the Chancellor, if he/she become hostile and refuses to step down without a fight. While the Order 66, is the only Order programed to that only requires the authorization of the Chancellor, to be activated.
What if Trilla didn't become the Second Sister, but teamed up with Cal? What if they became a couple, Cal being the calm to Trilla's Dark Side-induced crazy? And what happens when Merrin becomes the shared woman between the pair?
So I think without Palpatine the Jedi would have agreed to step down even though they did not agree with Tarkin. They would have stepped down because the force would have been balanced, however, they still would’ve feared the uncertainty with Tarkin.
Or the Senate Security Committee, Bail Organa and Padme can call for Order 65. The Speaker and Tarkin knows palpatine, so they may want to prevent somehow.
7:32 At this point, the Senate would have Mace stand trial, including an investigation of the scene. It would be one thing if there was no Senate approval for the arrest of the Chancellor, or if Mace has been dispatched single-handedly, or if all four Jedi had survived without injury. -- The fact is that 3 dead Jedi masters are also at the scene, with their causes of death being part of the investigation. -- Mace's legal use of deadly force in self defense would be easy to prove beyond any reasonable doubt. That the four Jedi attempted to take him into custody without incident, when the chancellor suddenly attacked the four with a concealed lightsaber with the intention of killing all four. In a fight for his life, Windu had no choice but to use deadly force in self-defense to stop the threat on his life. Also, if Palpatine disabled the security cameras before the incident, the timing would prove pre-meditation to kill the four arresting Jedi. (I did a quick search, apparently the SW universe has law enforcement, investigators, medical examiners and lawyers) As far as the Jedi continuing to lead the clone army. The Senate would have a hearing on that, with the clone commanders being called as witnesses, testifying in favor or against the Jedi leadership. Whatever the decision, even if that the Jedi were mandated to return to their previous roles, Yoda and the council would likely accept that decision, even if in disagreement.
I think more interesting, if the vote barely failed, but it completely undermines Palpatines ability to centralize everything on himself. Allowing the corporate powers to slowly steal the plot he had built up this whole time. Instead of an empire with him at top, the corporate-industrial barons that were supposed to be palpatine’s pawns crown themselves king.
Why do I have the feeling that the mere idea of Windu executing Order 65 after Palpatine revealed himself would not only give the Sith a run for their money but is also a very bad thing for everyone involved…specifically their enemies. Plus it’s nice to see an amazing ‘what if’ centered around Windu take an alternate route to taking down Palpatine because for some reason it just makes sense for Windu to take this path because I always felt that he’s one of the strongest characters in SW history and is just so beneficial in so many ways and he would definitely conquer any challenge that’s thrown his way because he wouldn’t stand by and let the Republic fall and it would fit perfectly well within the SW universe. Plus, who doesn’t love a good Windu being a badass adventure. Also the voice acting for Anakin, Windu, Fisto and senator Halle was just amazing. I do have a few ideas for some possible what if’s: 1) What if Rey was a Mandalorian…essentially what if Din Djarin found Rey and took her in as a Foundling. 2) What if Ezra was a Mandalorian…something like how both his parents were Mandalorians who left Mandalore and went to start their own lives (you could still keep most of Ezra’s backstory) and potentially make Ezra and Sabine a couple (since Disney won’t, we have too…#ezrabine4ever. 3) What if Jango Fett and/or Boba Fett Joined the Republic…I think something interesting could happen with this. 4) What if Rey, Finn and Poe went back in time to the Clone Wars…this would make the World Between Worlds even more of an important focal point and I could also see them get along well with Anakin, Ashoka, Rex and the rest of the 501st (it would be fun to see Rey, Finn and Poe join the 501st) I hope these are some amazing ideas for some potential What if’s
Also without Palpatine it would be much harder to convince the Senate that the Jedi were a threat. And the Jedidi would have engaged in get the CIS to surrender because that would squash any attempts by Tarkin to replace them.
Ignoring Anakin wouldn't record Palpatine, revealing Palpatine as a Sith is not sufficient. The general public does not think of the Sith & Jedi as any different in nature. They see Dooku as a rebelling jedi. The Senate would see this as at most a hidden ideological difference. The Jedi also hide any information on the Sith themselves, which means very few outside the Sith even have a concept of what that means, not since a millennium before. The Senate was also at least 60% fully under Palpatine. Palpatine had control over the Senate, effectively. There is also a great deal of suspicion of the Jedi having orchestrated the war themselves. I do not see Palpatine actively resisting the Senate order if somehow this came to be, He would accept & manipulate it. Palpatije also definitely can overpower Windu if he is willing to engage in a force battle, he was at this stage arguably the lesser in blade work but the flat superior in Force & could have broken past with his lightning were it to be at his advantage. Tarkin would probably just bombard the Mustafar base if he intended to execute them. I hate the whole inhibitor chip issue, it always weakened the story. Always detracts from the core themes & ideas at play.😊
I have seen countless videos with this title, and the thing that always bugs me is the assumption that the Jedi ever would have known about any of the contingency orders, let alone the specific one that would oust the Sith they were looking for. Keep in mind that the Jedi of the Clone Wars had no involvement in the actual creation of the clones. The knowledge of these orders was likely limited to Palpatine, Dooku, Jango, and the Kaminoans. And we have no cases (at least not that I've ever heard of) where the Jedi asked about such contingency orders, taking the claims of loyalty, lack of individuality, and following orders perfectly at face value, especially after Geonosis.
@@DarthTheorist Glad to hear it! I do enjoy your videos. Hope you don't mind that I sometimes put them on when I go to sleep, very relaxing, sadly I missed the end one time 😪 I am impressed with the overall quality! Not sure how you find the time.
One point that never made sense to me in these what ifs, is that the revelation to the senate that palpatine is a sith is damning. From the perspective the senate the blood feud between sith and Jedi is like blood feud between pagans and Scientologists. Count dooku is a sith, sure, but the pressing issue is the separatists he leads not the religion he follows, the senate could not care less, and to accuse the popular chancellor of treason on the basis of religion alone would be seen as a power play, everything the Jedi have at this point is basically conjecture. Palpatine made it impossible for him to lose without greater conflict, which is the best the Jedi can do in the face of a sith empire.
Senate wasn't in session when the jedi went to confront Palpatine, and even if it was all the debating and votes would take to much time. Palpatine would have already executed order 66.
What up darth theorist . I have some idea for what ifs .What if the black panther train Anakin Skywalker or What if the empire invaded earth in the avengers endgame final battle
if you are to be rid of Palpatine's influence, you also need to be rid of Ameda. He was Palpatine's willing buttmonkey. Leaving that asshat with any form of power is inviting palpatine's plans to continue in some form.
@@TJackson736 Technically yes. The Senate voted on it and decided to vote for Order 65 (btw something that probably wouldnt have happened, even with a recording. Palpatine had a huge grip on the Senate, even when he was just about to become chancellor) - but the announcing person was Windu, which was not authorized by any means to do that in case of Order 65 being decided upon. Sadly it is not clarified in the actual law who would have to declare it, only that the Commanders of the GAR would have to detain or kill Palpatine, and who gets to vote on the issue, but not who declares it or authenticates the declaration, let alone how it is authenticated. My guess is that it would have to be a member of the Senate or the security council, maybe a Speaker.
Not a chance. Order 65 requires a 2/3rd majority vote of the entire Senate. That would require getting a quorum present. And Palpatine would be alerted to that. And there's no way it would even get a simple majority. Meanwhile, Order 66 did not require the Senate at all. Only an order from the Chancellor. Palpatine.
@@therealnearwater Yeah and no Grievous means shit is way easier for the Republic because he was a monster. Hell, imagine Dooku still tries to go through with that plan for some reason and just watch it backfire because not even Disney Grievous is that stupid.
I like the story but don't think the turmoil of Anakins emotions were dealt with in this story. I don't think the Jedi Strike team deciding to go to the Senate prevents Anakin from interfering in the Mace Va Palpatine duel.
If they would have been smart, they first would have bring all Jedi to one place and far away from Coruscant so the order would be useless since there are no clones in range of the Jedi. After that the Republic will surely be reorganized into the first galactic Empire. In that way the Jedi should join the CIS and the main mission would be to take down the inhibitor chips from Kamino.
What if the Jedi Temple on Coruscant was rebuilt as a Star Fortress after the conflict with the Eternal&Sith Empire. Since the fall of the Eternal Empire, the alliance with the Sith Empire also fell apart. With the regular Sith conflict continuing until the Battle of Ruusan, there were Star Fortresses in orbit of planets that been taken over by the Eternal Empire but liberated. Most of the Star Fortresses were destroyed but several were saved like on Alderaan since the Sith likes to target that planet. So on over some of the liberated worlds, instead of being dismantled by the Republic&Jedi forces, the Jedi kept the technologies and one of the Star Fortress' parts got installed into the Jedi Temple turning it into a mobile fortress as there's still a war going on with the Sith and they usually like to target with orbital bombardment the Jedi Temple. The renovations to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant was completed even before Yoda's time over a thousand years ago. The full capabilities of the Jedi Temple's Star Fortress defenses was used several times after it was completed as there's the occasional attack on Coruscant from time to time, like the usual rogue Mandalorian fleet attacks before they settled down. So like the Republic government forgetting the Sith, the general public on Coruscant forgot about the Jedi Temple's full capabilities as well. Most of the modern Jedi Masters forget or were not informed of it and only a few Jedi Council members are aware of its existence. Fortunately Yoda was among those that were still aware that the Jedi Temple had been rebuilt to be a mobile fortress that can take off and more than able to defend itself or even destroy Coruscant. On previous activations, there were enemy insiders, turned dark Jedi, traitors or even Sith that's aware of the Temple's defenses and tried to sabotage it internally. So over the centuries, decoy command&control/power stations were created so that if there's an internal attack, it was actually the tertiary sites that were supposed to be attacked and the primary&secondary sites were fully operational. When Anakin revealed that Palpatine is the Sith Lord, Mace Windu informed Yoda and he agreed to fully activate the Jedi Temple again but also to prepare for internal sabotage as they're expecting that there might be agents loyal to the Sith Lord and the temple was put on lockdown while it becomes fully operational. Obviously Anakin isn't aware of these activation protocols as he didn't need to know and those other veteran/tenured Jedi Masters that's not active but aware of the protocols are now in charge of defending the Jedi Temple. In previous activations, there were Jedi Temple guard traitors and this was expected. Since the recent CIS fleet attack on Coruscant, the temples been on a high alert status and a group of Alumni Jedi Masters had been secretly trying to find the Temple Guard traitor within their ranks that lusted for power and those they suspect had been isolated. By the time Palpatine activated Order66, the future Grand Inquisitor had been sent to the front lines outside of the temple. Jedi Master Sindralic is also aware of the defense protocols for a fully active Jedi Temple recently due to the CIS fleet attack and had his suspicions on one of the Temple Guards. Like Anakin, the temple guard wasn't fully trusted and was posted to where they could do the least risk&damage to the Temple's defenses. By the time Anakin arrived with the 501st clone army, the Jedi Temple is fully operational and its defenses are active to take on direct enemy heavy strikes from ground to orbit as well as prepared to take on an attack of droids, Sith or Mandalorian armies on the ground too. Master Sindralic withdrew from the frontlines and returned to the command center to let the untrusted Temple Guards initially deal with the enemy&rogue Jedi that was leading them. When the Anakin&501st failed to breach the Temples' shields, several Venators from orbit and some inside the atmosphere started to bombard the Jedi Temple. To their surprise, the temple's shield held and then something similar to force lightning but actually a reverse engineer of the GraveStone ship's OmniCannon. So the initial Venator fleet attacking the temple were wiped out and to Anakin&501st surprise, the Jedi Temple started to rise as the ground shakes. They quickly retreated while over a dozen more Venator ships are approaching in orbit. By the time those Venators were near position, the Jedi Temple's already left Coruscant's surface and was in low orbit. It then disappeared. Also since Anakin told Master Windu that Palpatine is Sidious, on Yoda's advice, all of the Jedi are to withdraw from battle&away from their clone armies as the Chancellor could had ordered the clone army to at best arrest&imprison their Jedi commanders or at worst kill them during battle. So when Order66 happened, other than ObiWan who was actively on a duel with General Grievous, most had disengaged from combat and had left on their starfighters to rendezvous outside of Coruscant. ObiWan survived his clone army shooting at him&left using Grievous' starfighter. Since it requires a force sensitive to properly navigate to Tython, it was decided for everyone to meet there as all of the planets in the Tython star system has some Star Fortresses each in orbit and is fully operational. The salvaged Eternal fleet had been rebuilt to actual starships and is activated with the incoming Jedi crewing them.

If you listen to the video you’ll hear that mace has the senate enact it :)

Sorry about that, i just answered inmediately the question of the title of video 😅
What if Trilla didn't become the Second Sister, but teamed up with Cal? What if they became a couple, Cal being the calm to Trilla's Dark Side-induced crazy? And what happens when Merrin becomes the shared woman between the pair?
and then Darth Vader wakes up in his Bacta bath and thinks "That was a weird one"
What if Padmae survived and convinced Obiwan and Yoda to help her lead a rebellion?
Ah! The *Star Wars* equivalent of *Law And Order* but with an insane size of Law enforcement! 👍😁
I like that story more than the movie.
Mace Windu: Execute order 65
Clones: Sir order 65 isn't canon yet
another plot twist, "General Windu, you lack the authority to issue that order"
What if palpatine sneezed and executed order 69 by mistake😂
Palpatine’s lightsaber hilt is made of Phirk, and is impervious to lightsaber attacks.
Plot Twist, what if the Senate Demanded Proof of Palpatine's actions
Plot twist. What if you watched the vidoe 😂
@@ForageGardener what if I did, and then suggested that plot twist
(I did a quick search, apparently the SW universe has law enforcement, investigators, medical examiners and lawyers)
As far as the Jedi continuing to lead the clone army. The Senate would have a hearing on that, with the clone commanders being called as witnesses, testifying in favor or against the Jedi leadership. Whatever the decision, even if that the Jedi were mandated to return to their previous roles, Yoda and the council would likely accept that decision, even if in disagreement.
Order 65? Is that the one to begin searching for his arm?
What if there was a zombie apocalypse during the Clone Wars?
What if Tarkin was force sensitive and joined the Jedi order?
I think more interesting, if the vote barely failed, but it completely undermines Palpatines ability to centralize everything on himself. Allowing the corporate powers to slowly steal the plot he had built up this whole time. Instead of an empire with him at top, the corporate-industrial barons that were supposed to be palpatine’s pawns crown themselves king.
This is a pretty cool alternate
I do have a few ideas for some possible what if’s:
1) What if Rey was a Mandalorian…essentially what if Din Djarin found Rey and took her in as a Foundling.
4) What if Rey, Finn and Poe went back in time to the Clone Wars…this would make the World Between Worlds even more of an important focal point and I could also see them get along well with Anakin, Ashoka, Rex and the rest of the 501st (it would be fun to see Rey, Finn and Poe join the 501st)
I hope these are some amazing ideas for some potential What if’s
Also without Palpatine it would be much harder to convince the Senate that the Jedi were a threat. And the Jedidi would have engaged in get the CIS to surrender because that would squash any attempts by Tarkin to replace them.
Okay I don't know why but I have never seen this before what if the Organas survived alderaan like if Leia still had Bail in Brea
I can’t decide if I like or dislike the video game like conversation flow.
What if Watto was the Chosen One?
Totally different movie if Palpatine invokes order 69.
How do the Jedi not know about order 66, and they did know about order 65, I mean did they stop reading it after 65 ?
Darth, are you okay? You are making videos with an worrying speed while still having quality!
Tryna kick it up a notch now haha we’re hitting our stride baby
@@DarthTheorist Glad to hear it! I do enjoy your videos. Hope you don't mind that I sometimes put them on when I go to sleep, very relaxing, sadly I missed the end one time 😪

Not sure if it's been done yet, but what if, instead of attempting to sway Luke to the darkside, the emperor attempts to sway Leia Organa instead?
I like it. Good storyline.
What if the empire beat the rebellion???
What if the solor system was found by the old republic
Point of order: would it be safe to assume Luke and Leia would be born during a time of peace, then? Remember, Padme was ready to pop them out!
What if Toby maguire spider man trilogy happen on planet coruscant instead earth in star wars prequels
The alternate name for this what if is what if mace windu actually use he brain for one's
Order 65 needed senate confirmation it would not be a valid order if the Jedi issued it.
How about this one bale organa as a secret sith master and Lea as his apprentice.🤔
Then, the rebellion of the original trillogy would be to overthrow emperor mace 🤔
The Jedi weren't able to command the execution of Order 65 - it was the Senate. The actual Senate, not Palpatine.
The video has this happen.
Its a shame that Kit looked so ridiculous in Episode 3, but hes such a bad*** in clone wars.
what if anakin and obi wan left ahsoka on mortis
What if the jedi temple was on earth
Not a chance. Order 65 requires a 2/3rd majority vote of the entire Senate. That would require getting a quorum present. And Palpatine would be alerted to that. And there's no way it would even get a simple majority.
Meanwhile, Order 66 did not require the Senate at all. Only an order from the Chancellor. Palpatine.
This be pretty Interesting IOoOI👌
What if the Republic sided with the Khaleesh instead of the Huk?
Then Grievous would have no reason to hate the Jedi lmao 💀
@@therealnearwater Yeah and no Grievous means shit is way easier for the Republic because he was a monster. Hell, imagine Dooku still tries to go through with that plan for some reason and just watch it backfire because not even Disney Grievous is that stupid.
I like the story but don't think the turmoil of Anakins emotions were dealt with in this story. I don't think the Jedi Strike team deciding to go to the Senate prevents Anakin from interfering in the Mace Va Palpatine duel.
Narrator sounds very similar to Matt Lanter wow

If they would have been smart, they first would have bring all Jedi to one place and far away from Coruscant so the order would be useless since there are no clones in range of the Jedi. After that the Republic will surely be reorganized into the first galactic Empire. In that way the Jedi should join the CIS and the main mission would be to take down the inhibitor chips from Kamino.
Amen that was a good video thank you for uploading this video it had a good ending amen.
Execute order 03 with a side order of fries large coke no ice and hold the condiments
Should have just stepped down and let the clones handle it
What if Kina Ha trained Anakin Skywalker?
What if Thrawn raised Anakin Skywalker?
Honestly thought it would be funnier if it was Order 86.
What if Anakin had the Carnitrix or Omnitrix during the clone wars?

So where’s captain Rex
Yeah, this is why Palpatine's plan worked: the jedi were just as power hungry as they were accused of being, only they deluded themselves into believing themselves to be altruistic.
