Haha definitely. A good number are at Miquella's crosses, especially early on - think they should've just found an excuse to have more Miquella crosses and have them placed where every Scadutree Fragment you've picked up is.
Currently at the final boss. I was struggling a lot and I figured it was because I was only at fragment level 17. Thanks to this video, I was able to find the remaining scadutree fragments, and I'm proud to say I'm still struggling with the final boss at fragment level 20! :^)

Pro tip for anyone doing the DLC. Use the map markers to mark your own position every time you pick one ash or scadutree. This way you can keep track of those missing later just by comparing your map with the wiki.
has anyone tried? I remember in base game long ago there was a limit to how many markers we could put, and it was probably far from 50. maybe they changed it, idk

And the difficulty will increase so yeah I'll just have to do it patiently or the enemy combatants will blitz me faster than a practitioner of Nanto Suichoken. I entered the Shadow Realm 72 levels above the minimum recommended level and it's still a struggle as intended but if I made the DLC it would be as difficult as Farum Azula and not require fragment collection I also would have made at least 5 representatives of every new weapon category and try to advertise the story campaign on the player since I feel they don't do that with Souls/Elden Ring enough it's just as important as gameplay.
the fragment 30 is actually recluse river downstream that you are showing but you said upstream. kind of confusing. also turning the compass overhead off is disorienting
I wish you didn’t hide from us what grace it was you were starting at 😭 sometimes you’d show us, other times I had no idea where your starting point was so i’d just have to go to another tutorial to find out how to get to the area
This was a poor choice of his. He should do better. What's the point of helpful videos if you don't even show where to start from. I'll just see if someone else took more care and consideration than him.

I picked up the one by the inquisitors in the abyssal woods yesterday, was at +19 and had 2 frags in my inventory afterward, so i came to this video. I follow along all the way up until that very spot, and its there as if i didnt get it 😭😭😭 even took a lil screen recording picking it up the first time cuz i thought it was my last one 😂 (ik, corny, hop off) Hoe glitched on me fr i thought i was going crazy runnin around the map. But then I can't say it like Po in Kung Fu Panda saying "skadoosh." XD I thought that might be the actual way to say it steaming from the spelling of gaol in the main game. Make me chuckle to say "skadoo!" every time I get one.
@@Gyatalotyayhaving a compass makes it a lot easier to know what direction the player guide is going in so you know exactly where you're supposed to go. Without it the guide is still usable but it's harder to follow and there's no reason they need the HUD off for a guide

I’m so happy I found them all I watched the whole video to find out I was missing one and had to re run every position because I got cocky and thought I had already grabbed the one I was missing and nope never got it so word of advice, GO TO EVERY POSITION IT WILL SAVE YOU TIME AND A HEADACHE 😅

The horrible part of the video is not showing what grace you’re at and where on the map you are. You have your location blocked the entire time by the fragment location text box. Half the time I’m going Grace to Grace trying to figure out which one you’re starting from.
Most people seem to have either missed one of the two hippos in recluse river, or missed a pot pickup and now it’s gone. One person said they found the game had not registered their Mesmer pickup

So glad you took the time to separate all of these into chapters and then number each of them with some random numbering system that isn't at all helpful when searching for a specific location. Ya know, because the site that led me here definitely numbered these. 🤦🏼♂️
I understand you guys removes the Hudson for the screen to be less cluttered but I would recommend keeping the compass so viewers have a better understanding

why does thumbnail state "all 50 fragments" and yet the last one you collected was number 41 and I followed the entire journey and I am missing 2. I got 19 upgrades and only 1 fragment left...

Can you believe I ended up having to check all the places simply because I was missing one that I was sure I had picked up? In this case it was the dark room which is right next to Messmer, I casually went there, killed Messmer AND DIDN'T GET THE DAMN ITEM

The only problem with this system is that there is the exact number of fragments you need to get to 20. There should be many spare ones, so you can get to max while missing some. It's not logical that they ask you to follow a guide if you want to find them all. Kind of like how they did with the golden seeds.

It was exactly what I feared, after 5 times following the guides it was the shadowpot enemy, i killed the same one 3 times before it finally dropped the scadutree fragment
The only clue I had that there were two hippos you need to kill at 19:21 was the fact you said x2 fragments and you only got 1 from that kill. Please show yourself killing both of them as an 's' at the end of 'lesser golden hippo bosses' isn't enough as this fight is repeated a lot, and I confused it for you referring to all of them instead of two at that location.
