Ever since I’ve been taking Dr. Drays skin care advice, my skin hasn’t looked better. It’s been better than it has been in prolly 10 years. Thank you sooooooo much Dr Dray, 🙏🏻
You have quickly become my favorite person to watch on youtube. I have learned so much from you and it’s transformed my skin! Thank you for your awesome videos!
I started using the Albolene, followed by Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Hydrating Cleanser. I thought I knew it all at 60. Watching your videos and getting great advice. I'm done with the high end brands from Nordstrom and have better results following your advice.
AYAH I haven’t tried the neutrogena cleanser but I love the Vanicream gentle facial cleanser that Dr.Dray recommends! It is the only cleanser I have used that doesn’t make my skin react in redness and more acne!!
Me too. I’m 69 and thanks to Dr. Dray I have stopped using high end cleaners. I love the Habolabo cleansing oil and cerave dry skin face cleanser as 2nd cleanse.
Hola a todas; yo uso Albolene y después simple daily skin detox Tengo 49 y dry skin y me ha gustado esta combinación ; me quita la máscara de larga duración y los labiales non transfer😉
I just recently bought the CVS version of Albolene. It's great at melting off the sunscreen and makeup and leaving my skin very soft. My second cleanse is still Cerave Hydrating Cleanser. Have a great night!
samsensation786: See the video I linked above, which is only 7 months old. This is the one Dr Dray references. You can also use the RUclips search bar to find corresponding videos on this topic. Just type “dr dray skincare routine” in the YT search bar.
@@DrDrayzday We love skincare routines though! Plus, you tweak it slightly from routine to routine. For example, you used to apply sunscreen to a wet face and now you no longer do that.
I started using Albolene just this last week based off of your recommendation. I absolutely LOVE it. It works great! No more expensive cleansing balms or cleansers for me. I just don’t see the point! I would much rather save the money!😊 thanks for all your great advice for us Dr Dray:)
Sarahhh Beth I pretty much always have to use a warm wash cloth to wipe it all off before going in with a cleanser. I kind of wish that step wasn’t so necessary for me, but I can’t stand the thought of leaving a film behind so I always use a wash cloth to remove it, then go in with a cleanser. :)
My grandmother swore by Albolene and I could never figure out why it seemed to break me out. Thanks for explaining that it's a little harder to wash off and why, I think that was my problem!
I'm glad that you called b.s. on the fear of mineral oil and petrolatum. My skin loves them, and my hair also loves dimethicone. I don't care what the internet has to say about them right now. It'll change in a few years anyway 😒.
I use and love the Green Clean from Farnacy. The full size has a scoop that stays inside the lid. I will use warm water on a wash cloth to remove the product several times a week to exfoliate. Now I think I should wait for that step until after the balm is removed. Thank you for the valuable information!
An excellent alternative to the farmacy cleansing balm is the Physicians formula brand matcha balm sold at most drug stores (at least in Canada) and to me, it rinses off even cleaner with no residue left but doesn’t strip.
I can't tell you how much I appreciate the mineral oil and petrolatum info you have given out in this video. I've heard they were carcinogenic for years. I still used both because they seem to be in most skincare products and everything is carcinogenic, it seems. However, having a trusted derm explain the difference being refined versions used on skin versus the others helped put my mind at ease. Thanks!
I think these balms have been around for decades. I’m 67 and my great grandmothers ,grandmas, mother , sisters and myself used cold creams of various brand names. These are still around.
Dr. Dray...you look stunning & radiant! Also, thank you for my skin routine! I've been using CeraVe cleansers & moisturizers, EltaMD sunscreen, Retin-A, and the Ordinary for the last 1.5 years because of you, and my skin looks much better (and so does my wallet). Thank you for your no-nonsense videos....it's refreshing to see someone on RUclips who doesn't push crappy expensive products just to get a commission off of them.
I used the DE makeup balm and I liked it, but honestly Albolene is just as good at removing makeup and I felt it tugged less on my skin when I applied it. Thank you for recommending that in previous videos, you saved me lots of money!
I love this channel. At 33 I was still struggling with acne and went to a dermatologist. The dermatologist was so helpful. I find Dr. Dray to be a great resource, and I almost mourn the fact, I didn't have access to this information when I was in junior high and my parents with perfect complexions had a young girl whose face exploded. It would have been nice to know what does work from drugstores. I love cleansing balms tbh as they help keep my skin moisturized in the cleansing process (removing my make up) which is why I initially turned to them. The make-up removing wipes stung so much and hurt my face. I have used the IT Bye Bye makeup ($38 - don't judge) and the Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm ($30). I prefer the Clinique, but am excited to hunt for the albolene at walmart.
Same here 🙋♀️ I love the Albolene Eye Makeup Remover in the pump since it takes off my waterproof mascara. It doesn't break me out. I just ordered it on Ebay since I'm running out of it. I also use the Clinique makeup remover but I think its film stays longer on my eyes than Albolene...
Sarskies I can’t remember which video but she said it was good in a prior one! There’s just some fragrance in it, but she generally likes their products.
Sarah C can you believe VANICREAM dried my skin out. It is the titanium dioxide in it. But now I know that’s an irritant for me. Can’t use mineral sunscreen either only chemical. 🤷🏻♀️
No because that also has titanium dioxide as an ingredient. I have rosacea. The neutrogena hydro boost seems to work best. I just kept thinking there is nothing in this VANICREAM that would be drying me out. As I’ve experience with mineral sunscreens , i have found that’s it’s the oxides. It’s just strange what works for 1 person doesn’t work for another especially with the VANICREAM. But I love this channel. I’ve learned a lot. Thanks for talking with me .
If anyone reads this after viewing and aren’t sure if Dr. Dray’s advice truly works, well, I took her advice with cerave daily moisturizer with SPF as well as Vanicream spf lip care. I did not have the slightest burn after a busy month out in the summer sun. Her advice is zero bull and saved me from future sun damage concerns. ❤️
I love Hada Labo cleaning oil. I got the Albolene.....it felt really heavy on my face and greasy even after two rounds of my cerave cleanser. I will be using it on my body for sunscreen removal exclusively!!! Thank you for always being a wealth of information and education!!
Lisa Prato I have the same problem with albolene but I have been gently wiping it off with a wet washcloth before going in with my Vanicream cleanser and it takes a lot of the thick residue away!!
Interestingly, Rohto is the name the Japanese came up when they named the company after August von Rothmund, a German eye doctor. Presumably it’s too difficult for Japanese people to pronounce the name Rothmund.
you're hadalabo recommendation blew me away! for sure the best oil cleanser I've ever used. I am a fan of the farmacy and clinique solids as well. Great review!
I remember seeing Mineral oil in my mother in laws bathroom. I asked her what she used it for. Her answer cleansing her face. Her second cleanse was Dove Soap. She then loaded on Cold Cream. She did have beautiful skin into her late 80's. She used plain zinc oxide baby bum creme as a sunscreen. "Have we come a long way?"
I use Abolene and find that putting it on and then gently wiping it off before a second cleanse really helps get every last bit off. Before I did that it always felt like residue was left behind. Bed Bath and Beyond also carries Abilene.
The La Roche Posay cleanser and Retin A is doing wonders for my skin. I love your videos, they are so helpful. I do wear makeup and I came here for the DE review. Thats a really reasonable price for DE. Thank You!
After watching this I'm considering changing from a cleansing oil to the balm. Lately, I can't find any fragrance free cleansing oils in stores and I run out before I have time to order online. I just purchased a Burt's Bees oil, which is advertised as "lightly scented" but the scent still gets in my eyes and stings. I wish Simple would bring their cleansing oil back! I'm going to try Pixi next and throw the Burt's Bees in the shower to get the sunscreen off my arms. I tried using mineral oil but couldn't get it to rinse off well (maybe my water is a bit soft). Anyway sorry for the long comment and thanks for another great video!
@@dianatrujillo1185 It's awesome - I've used it for a few years. Very pleasant texture, smells like olive oil, and washes off even without a second cleanse. About $28 for 6oz which lasts me maybe two months or so
@@carrie880 Update: I didn't love Albolene! It dissolved all sunscreen/makeup very well, but even washing my face twice afterwards, it still felt like my face was coated in paraffin wax.
M Johnson everyone’s skin is different. I can see how that would happen though! What I like to do is take a warm washcloth and remove it then do my second cleanse. I do wish it had a little surfactant in it I do admit.
What's really great, is the fact, that..yes, there are those of us over a certain age, who let's face it, didn't get enough info to do the right things for our skin, and we bumbled along and it's never really too late to get a grip... But what strikes me, is the notion of starting young and getting a grip on the basics and then going on from there. Really learning the art of skin care, is an art, isn't it? I love the youth here learning and having this resource. That albolene, as someone said, in another comment vlog section is the OG of balms. Have to try it! Sorry, though, I have tried stevia so many times, and I still can't get past what I don't like in the taste. Maybe this is the trick, the vanilla version. "I doubt it though," she mumbled.
You are so wonderful! I cannot praise you enough. On your suggestion I have stopped using any scented products, stopped using soap, and shave with lotion and my skin has literally never felt so good.. on my whole body not just my face
Just finishing Hada Labo cleansing oil and appreciate "balm" alternatives... especially Albolene because it's so affordable. One of my friends is 80 and she has used Albolene for 50 years. Love my Cerave cleanser that you recommended. Your skin has such a healthy glow..... Hugs....Sherry
Girls if you don’t have oily skin just use Ponds cleansing cold cream! Use a warm, soft face cloth and GENTLY wipe off, be especially gentle around the eye area. It’s been around forever and very affordable! It’s not rocket science. I’m 76 and use it still to this day. I still get lovely compliments on my skin. I wouldn’t recommend it for oily skin.
I’m reading through the ingredients in many popular cleansing balms. Farmacy has Polyethylene. Other popular balms have PEG10 or PEG8. What are the differences to the skin and the environment?
Thank you, my darling doctor, for featuring Albolene! I have been using it for years to remove my makeup. It is used by Broadway and film actors to remove stage makeup and heavy makeup. It lasts forever and I am a true fan of it! It melts my mascara like nobody's business!!
I use ziaja face oil in blue bottle. 6 igridients, mineral oil based, laminaria extract, fragrance free. And in Poland I bought it for 2$. Yes, u can start being jealous.
Love the ponds cold cream, but since you introduced me to hada labo cleansing oil and albolene moisturizing cleanser, I have fallen in love! The albolene is amazing at takin off waterproof mascara and foundation. Great product, and so cost effective.
I asked the same thing as l always here that sleeping on your side will age you more than anything else. Maybe Dr Drey will discuss or comment on this.
I think she had a special pillow that doesn't smush her face in a video. I use a silk pillow case but I know I should sleep on my back partly to avoid cleavage creases.
I am 53 years old and have been following your recommendations since you started on youtube. Just want to say Thank You for all the information you share. Recently had surgery and couldn't wear any makeup. Everyone who saw me commented on what great skin I have. It was amazing! I told them about your channel and encouraged them to use sunscreen. ;)
Makeup Fan: Congrats! Now instead of makeup you should just wear tinted mineral sunscreen since you don’t need to cover up your beautiful skin anymore!! 👏 👏 👏
@@jt8142 That's what I've been doing! The surgery required me to not wear any makeup for a week afterward, and I enjoy the tinted SPF better than foundation. :)
@@nancsunjida6898 it really helps to break up the make up. I wear foundation, eyeshadow, the works...and it really helps. I have also used DHC (and see that you can buy that at Target now) also have used coconut oil.
I use the Neutrogena cleansing oil. It’s a recent discovery because it’s actually with the makeup removers and not in the skincare aisle. Mineral oil is the first ingredient in it so thank you for your mineral oil disclaimer!
Enjoy your beverage (and skincare recs) recommendations. The Lakanto Drinking Chocolate is excellent!! I have discoid lupus and your educational videos have changed my health for the better. I use Japanese sunscreens now and my lupus is better controlled.
Omgoodness! CeraVe Hydrating Facial Wash is amazing!! Been using it for a year now I just purchased the Albolene to put on first before the CeraVe. Layer, then wash off with lukewarm water.
Dr. Dray, just wanted to let you know that Farmacy has recently released a version of the cleansing balm without the oil of bergamot and the other potentially sensitizing EOs and fragrances! It's called Clearly Clean. I'm looking forward to trying it!
I’m so glad I found your videos. I just started tretinoin and I knew going into it that I needed more gentle products so as not to irritate my skin. I’ve just purchased the Neutrogena Ultra hydrating cleanser and I really like it. It’s so gentle and doesn’t burn my skin. Love it.
I’m happy it worked for you. I’m wondering what in it caused my face to react to it. Resulting in red and irritated face. 🥺 I tried it a few times and then returned it. The hunt for a face cleanser never ends.
@@ericabush I can't use it on my face! I used it last summer on my arms and chest to get sunscreen off. But, it irritates my face. I've been using the Hada Labo oil and I like it. Good luck!
Hi Dr Dray! This video was particularly informative and I thank you for it. I am concerned about the possible build up of oil in the outgoing drainage pipes of my house and am always very careful to not put any cooking oil down the drain. It is very expensive for a plumber to come to your home to snake a clogged drain or outgoing drainage pipe. I realize that only a small amount of mineral oil or albolene would be used each day, but the long term build up over years is bothersome. So, now I know to only use cleansing balms/oils that contain polyethylene glycol! Before watching your video I never heard of polyethylene glycol, now I know it is a friendly ingredient. Thanks again!
I have used Albolene for years and its never broke me out. If you break out, you probably were going to break out anyways, maybe hormonal. I really recommend.
I bought Abolene a few weeks ago. I like it very much and it’s a great value too. My only problem is it doesn’t remove my mascara (L’Oréal Lash Paradise) very well.
I wish that we could find a truly fragrance free cleansing balm. The Clinique version for some reason leaves my skin feeling dry and uncomfortable. Even Ponds has fragrance and while I am a fan of the cold cream for my sensitive, dry skin, I worry about the fragrance around my eyes as I use it to remove eye makeup. But, in the meantime, Albolene is very effective at getting off makeup even stubborn mascara. I do find, though, that the only way to get the Albolene completely off is using wet esthetic wipes (the esthetic wipes are very efficient at removing the product and the makeup without irritation). I then follow as you have recommended with either Cerave hydrating cleanser, Neutrogena Ulta Gentle Creamy cleanser or the Vanicream cleanser, all of which are fragrance free. As you mentioned in your prior video, I tried your suggestion to use the Albolene cleanser and follow with a second wash with any of the above cleansers but was unable to fully remove the Albolene and the makeup completely. When I am in a hurry, I do use as a first step to remove makeup either the Hada Labo cleansing oil or the Simple Cleansing Oil followed by one of the cleansers above. By following your suggestions, my dry skin did a complete 180 degree turn and is now manageable, clear, glowing and redness free. Thank you for your recommendations - I know I echo many whose skin has never been better since following your recommendations!
Mediterranean Maven: Albolene is truly fragrance free and only contains 5 ingredients. Albolene: Mineral Oil, Petrolatum, Paraffin, Ceresin, Beta Carotene
@@jt8142 I'm aware of that. But Albolene is more of a wipe off cleanser than a cleansing balm which contains ingredients that allow it to be rinsed away.
Texas Lyoness it’s been widely used forever by theater actors/actresses to get all that thick heavy stage makeup off post-performance. It works like a dream
I've used cleansing oil in the past but stopped when my skin became hyper sensitive to fragrance, which the brand I was using contained. :/ I recently have added the Vanicream cleanser to my regimen and love it! It is very gentle but is fantastic at removing all of my makeup, sunscreen and even mascara. It shot right to the top of my favorite cleansers! :-D
I literally just went to re-watch the video you referenced about the cleansing oils and balls and then I saw this new video! You read my mind. I can't wait to try out a balm instead of my regular pure rosehip oil which degraded and ended up breaking me out!
TEAtimesTHREEE , are you cleansing with the Rose hip oil? I thought that was supposed to leave it on if you use it at all. I do and enjoy it in Winter a bit.
I used to use it as both a serum and a cleansing oil because I bought a big bottle. Mine was slightly pink/orange in color. The problem was that I had it for too long and I think the oil degraded because I never had problems with it until I had already had it on my shelf for a little while. I'm going to try the Albolene since it should stay stable for a bit longer, but in the future I would still try rosehip oil again but maybe but a smaller bottle and use it up before buying more. I did enjoy the results of the rosehip oil when I first started using it.
I've been wearing foundation since I was 20. I'm now 36 and just started double cleansing a few months ago. Holy moly. My skin has improved soooo much. I used to think I had bad genetics or something and I was destined for bad skin. I used to use makeup wipes and never realized how bad they are and how much they really don't remove makeup. I've learned soooo much about skin care because of this channel. So grateful I found it. Thanks Dr dray 😀
@@jt8142 I haven't!! I should look into it. Honestly I just started wearing sunscreen everyday recently. Horrible, I know. I have combo skin so I was always afraid of looking to greasy with sunscreen
I just bought albolene from your last recommendation, and I honestly hate it. It was inexpensive, and effective, but it felt like vaseline on my face and I needed to use my cleanser three times to get it off. But I'm so excited the drunk elephant cleansing balm is approved by you, itll be my next purchase once albolene is all used up.
Update: its top greasy and sticky for my face but it's perfect for leg shaving. No cuts or bumps and it seems like itll last forever, plus the water doesn't wash it off while you're shaving and ruin your progress. 10/10 shaving balm.
I haven’t used a cleansing balm but I may try one. I’d like to try abolene I have heard of it Forever I Love Vanicream cleanser it’s a go to for me for a few years. It’s gentle and Very moisturizing. I love cereve also. Both not expensive and great. I even have started to use Vanicream on my arms it seems to help them moisturize or not be so dried out.
thanks for bringing PEG - 60 to my attention. I just bought a very luxurious Emma Hardie cleansing balm and ligter cleansing oil lotion and discovered that they both contains PEGs as ingredient
I must say that you look adorable in this video. I really feel much better when I double cleanse, even though I don’t wear a ton of makeup. Going to bed with a very clean, moisturized face is sheer joy.
I love the drunk elephant balm because its free of essential oils and fragrances that tend to make my skin red and also drunk elephant is a brand that i heard that donates to a charity for elephants and o think that’s pretty cool.
Thank you. I really appreciate your knowledge. Litterally over the last six months I went from zero problem skin to a nightmare. Your views o fragrances are relevant and important.
The Farmacy cleansing balm I actually adored. I didn't thoroughly read the ingredients so I didn't notice the fragrance so I will be trying the ROHTO Japanese cleansing oil next. But I'm finishing the Farmacy and am enjoying it.
The farmacy cleansing balm smelled great but turned my face bright red. Then I realized it had orange oil in it....always a nightmare for my skin. I use the Bobbi Brown oil cleanser.
I use Bobbi Brown's oil cleanser too. I have tried several others along with some of the cleansing balms, but I always come back to the Bobbi Brown one. It removes all my makeup and is easily removed with my 2nd cleanse. I also use her hydrating moisturizer under my makeup, I know it has some fragrance but it doesn't irritate my skin and it plays well under makeup.
I like to use the Simple Cleansing Oil or mineral oil for a first cleanse, and the CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser as a second cleanse. Think I might try getting hold of the Albolene to see if I like it better. Maybe Amazon or ebay would have it as I'm in the UK. Happy Monday! 💕
The CH Pixi DC was my first experience using a cleansing balm and even the double cleanse method. I love that balm. I tried the Clinique and I liked it, but prefer the two step in one container. I recently tried DE Slaai and I don't like it because, as you explain, it doesn't have the polyethylene glycol, so I don't like how difficult it is to wash off. It's also incredibly difficult to wash out of my eyes because it won't break down and I wind up with irritation. So that I don't waste it, I think I will use a micellar water to remove eye makeup and then use the slaai on the rest of my face. However, as soon as I finish this container of Slaai, I'm going back to my Caroline Hiron's DC. I love that it doesn't have fragrance, essential oils, or fruit extracts, it rinses easily and removes every bit of makeup. Btw, I use a wet soft, fluffy microfiber towel to gently wash and wipe off the excess so that I don't make a mess with water at the sink. Thank you for the explanation of polyethylene glycol because I was wondering why the DE balm was so difficult to remove and why it was irritating my eyes.
kalynnbs: I can’t find any product with that name on the Tula website. Can you provide a link to it? All the products I’ve looked at contain fragrance and there weren’t any named “Tula Cleansing Balm.”
Absolutely one of my most favorite videos, ever! I loved how you included low price and high priced items, cruelty free options, explanations of how things are working at a molecular level (such as, propylene glycol being added vs. not being added), more mineral oil myth debunking and how coconut oil is an optional alternative (though, it'd be easier to use if it were to have propylene glycol added). I feel thoroughly satisfied from the information and options you provided. Plus, I loved how you spoke about older rabbit studies being re-done on humans for more validity. Thank you! I'd love to see and hear your opinion on nail polishes/polish remover and cuticle cutting, especially since there are more cruelty free, less toxic options out there, now.
Dr. Dray, when I order sunscreens and skincare products online they arrive hot in the mail during this very hot summer. Do products spoil in the heat during shipping?
Thanks for morning laugh comparison in the alleyway!!! Just bought mineral oil in laxative aisle at Target yesterday. Works like a charm. Thanks for all your info in a humorous way!!
I had the farmacy one in a boxycharm and liked it! However, I bought the Bliss cleansing gel to remove my makeup before I actually cleanse and it works like a dream and I think it's only $10. Honestly, it really does take everything off and no more racoon eyes in the morning!
My slaii scoop can be stored inside you like flip it over. Its sooo neat. Something gave me really bad acne and slaii was one of the 3 products I used but unsure if it could be at fault. Thank you for making this! In canada Winnipeg its hard to find good cleansing balms.
I've heard a lot of the cleansing balms contain microplastic, I really want to avoid that since there are SOOOOOOOO many other options on the market. Please make a video about "CLEAN" cleansing balms and skincare as well~ thankyou!
Wow thanks for mentioning the harmlessness of mineral oil and petrolatum. I once used Albolene a long time ago to remove my makeup. I will start using it again. Those makeup removal wipes tore up my face, and I had eczema for months. The itching and burning were unbearable. Can you talk about propylene glycol? It’s in Eucrisa which has helped me. But from what I read, it is a carcinogen.
Hi Dr. Dray! I'm really glad you love the Pixi Double Cleanse - I do too! I'm curious to see what you would think of some of the other Pixi products ... I want to like most of them, but I seem to run into fragrance and weird gimmicks like gold flake. If you've already covered that, my apologies! Thanks!
my skin has completely transformed thanks to your insights girlie! I always make sure to run any new things by my personal dermatologist, just in case anything needs some tweaking to fit my specific needs, but it's been one year of using your channel as a jumping off point and I kid you not, my skin is SINGING 😁😅💕
Thank you so much for this video!! I will definitely try the Albolene when I finish my micellar water. I changed completely my skincare and my skin now is so much better thanks to you! :)
Pixi+Caroline Hirons is the cleanser I go to if my skin is breaking out. There's nothing quite like that. it doesn't come out as inexpensive as some others because I run out of it quite quickly - each side lasts me a bit under 2 months, and in my country it's not cheap. But it's worth every penny. I always have backups. Holy Grail status. The Pharmacy one, along with the Heimish All Clean are also great options that work beautifully with my acne-prone, combination, almost 40 skin. I've never tried Albolene, and I don't think we can get it in Europe...

I used the DE makeup balm and I liked it, but honestly Albolene is just as good at removing makeup and I felt it tugged less on my skin when I applied it. Thank you for recommending that in previous videos, you saved me lots of money!
thanks for watching
Albolene works great, and I find it at Dollar Tree.
How much??
I’ve been using the physician’s formula matcha cleansing balm and have been loving it, please review this product too!
Sarskies I can’t remember which video but she said it was good in a prior one! There’s just some fragrance in it, but she generally likes their products.
Thanks for letting me know! :)
Recently purchased albolene and I love it so far ❤️
glad to hear!
How do you gently get it off your face?
What is your skin type?
Vanicream cleanser and shea butter has saved my skin...thank you for recommending vanicream
Corrections only the cerave hydrating bar soap has titanium dioxide in it not the hydrating liquid face cleaner .
I use Clinique cleansing balm and CeraVe Hydrating cleanser they play nicely together. Great combination!
I’ve been using phy formula matcha cleansing balm. I love it. Doesn’t aggravate my skin. I follow it with a cerave cleanser
I know that ROHTO is Japanese, but in my language (Finnish) the word means potion or medicinal herb. Quite fitting! 😁
Great review!
the HL cleansing oil is great
Jordan Graff: Hada Labo Cleansing Oil is my favorite! 👏
My mom has used the albolene for years and she started me onto it
Dr. Dray trust your opinions and you are so knowledgable and real. We appreciate the research!
I buy Albolene at Rite Aid or Walgreens.
You are hands down my favorite channel on RUclips. I love hearing all your knowledge!
Kassandra Raether 💙

That's why I just use organic jojoba oil for double cleanse, but the Pixi cleansing balm is nice.
@@india_daws0n867 Seems like it would be really good for travel too!
Wow your skin is amazing! Extra glowy and healthy.

CVS carries their own version of Abolene called Beauty 360 Moisturizing Cleanser. Same ingredients and works just as well for a few less $$.
Thnk u
Just finished a DHC deep cleansing oil and decided to try out the Albolene cleanser after watching your redness routine video! Excited to try it out
Albolene is the OG
I’d love to hear how you like it!
“Essential oils are like a gang”. YES!!! Thank you for cutting through the fear-mongering Dr. Dray 👏🏼
:)
Amen, I’m so tired of the essential oils cure all nonsense.

I have been double cleansing with a balm and my skin is so soft a few days ...thanks Doc 😊
Love the ponds cold cream, but since you introduced me to hada labo cleansing oil and albolene moisturizing cleanser, I have fallen in love! The albolene is amazing at takin off waterproof mascara and foundation. Great product, and so cost effective.
Love cleansing balm's. Can you do a video on sleep wrinkles and why and how to avoid them??? Happy Monday.
I asked the same thing as l always here that sleeping on your side will age you more than anything else. Maybe Dr Drey will discuss or comment on this.
In one of her older videos she said she trained herself to sleep on her back. It got rid of a lot of morning puffiness.
I think she had a special pillow that doesn't smush her face in a video. I use a silk pillow case but I know I should sleep on my back partly to avoid cleavage creases.

Really ? I'm thinking about it right now , is it worth it for dry skin ?
I am 53 years old and have been following your recommendations since you started on youtube. Just want to say Thank You for all the information you share. Recently had surgery and couldn't wear any makeup. Everyone who saw me commented on what great skin I have. It was amazing! I told them about your channel and encouraged them to use sunscreen. ;)
Makeup Fan: Congrats! Now instead of makeup you should just wear tinted mineral sunscreen since you don’t need to cover up your beautiful skin anymore!! 👏 👏 👏
:)
@@jt8142 That's what I've been doing! The surgery required me to not wear any makeup for a week afterward, and I enjoy the tinted SPF better than foundation. :)
For my double cleanse I use the Hado Labo cleansing oil and Cerave Foaming Facial Cleanser. Thanks to Dr Dray ❤😊
How is the hada labo? Specially for spf?
I use Japanese sunscreens now and my lupus is better controlled.
i love that driniking chocolate! need to order some from amazon :)
I have been using Albolene for a few years now, and I love it!! I start with this and then use CeraVe cleansing cream as 2nd step.

Love it.
Abolene is awesome! It gets the thick layer of mineral sunscreen off my body like a dream 💕

Good luck!
I have been using Mineral Oil for only $2.64. It works great, got the idea from another vlog of yours...
The word of the day is “Scoopydoodle” 🤣👍
Exactly!
i only use cleansing balm for my mascara or eye makeup because most of them break me out sadly i am excited to try out albolene though ❤️
I have used Albolene for years and its never broke me out. If you break out, you probably were going to break out anyways, maybe hormonal. I really recommend.
I use coconut oil to take off eye makeup
What are esthetic wipes that u r talkin about
I use the wishful clean genie and love it. It's kinda expensive but I like it and it works well.
Actress Jaclyn Smith said she has used Albolene since she was very young.
Texas Lyoness it’s been widely used forever by theater actors/actresses to get all that thick heavy stage makeup off post-performance.

Texas Lyoness it is great
I've used cleansing oil in the past but stopped when my skin became hyper sensitive to fragrance, which the brand I was using contained. :/ I recently have added the Vanicream cleanser to my regimen and love it! It is very gentle but is fantastic at removing all of my makeup, sunscreen and even mascara. It shot right to the top of my favorite cleansers! :-D
Try the sweet almond oil that they sell as a base for aromatherapy! Odorless, super gentle, cheap, and works like a dream.
There are plenty of fragrance free cleansing oils and balms. I use Purito’s from green

Cynthia IgnisDivine thanks

Actually it's a two-faced bitch that seems nice but actually not. The real bitch though is named Fragrance. Just so you know, lol.
I use the Bobbi Brown oil cleanser.
sorry to hear that happened
Susan Di Staulo Citrus oils are a big irritant for me - also bad for me because I’m prone to hyperpigmentation.
Can you update your favorites /essentials list? I know you've found new products you've fallen in love with so please update if possible.
I enjoy the Tula cleansing balm. It is fragrance free, unlike their other products.
kalynnbs: I can’t find any product with that name on the Tula website. Can you provide a link to it? All the products I’ve looked at contain fragrance and there weren’t any named “Tula Cleansing Balm.”
www.tula.com/products/kefir-replenishing-cleansing-oil?variant=36319171969
kalynnbs: OK - it’s a cleansing oil, not a cleansing balm. And it’s out of stock everywhere, except in the travel size on their website.
