  • Hey guy come with me while I go to the local market in Ouled Mtaa to buy vegetables to make a chicken tagine later for dinner. While shopping I use Darija to get what I want. How did I do? Enjoy! (I felt weird filming the people there while i was shopping, so I cut the camera out while I spoke to them)

matecha and basla , it's not even 0.5kg , it's obvious they fooled you, 1kg it's at least 6 or 7 peaces, those sellers all what they care is to sell , don't care about you. if you keep silence ,you're the victim.

By the way! Preserved lemons are just lemons preserved in salt. We cut a lemon from the top into four pieces and we put salt inside and we keep it for a week or two in a jar and that’s it.

The prices are amazing for the produce! The size of the watermelon is incredible. You can make your own preserved lemons by brining them with juice and salt. I use them a lot and hate to waste so often keep a jar ready for chicken tagine, LOl.
