UPDATED SPECULATION: With the latest 3-planet tweet, I think the update will preload the changes, and leave them dormant. The expedition will be open to everyone for a week, and then Worlds 2 will drop.
@@goodguysfree I don't know man, I would like to have orbital and rotational planets and I know it's possible to work into gameplay nicely. Heck I have it planned out for this game particularly. I don't to stress enough, it isn't really confirmed by hello games that the issue was players weren't happy or got confused. In fact the so called play testers for this game some were game journalists and well... that's that. lol Also in some of the early gameplay trailers, planets did at least rotate and Sean or whoever was playing at that time, had no problems. Star Citizen had at least rotated planets and players didn't have a problem with it. The original intended build AS A WHOLE, was AMBITIOUS and in fact it's something that this game we have now lacked.......originality. only Sean of the Murrays can trigger thousands of views worth of content videos by tweeting out a single emoji. I really envision him still doing this in 20 years.
Methinks the update where he listed quite a few ACTUAL features/improvements coming in the update.. is all I needed to solidify my expectations for the coming update. The more "curious" (anxious.. haha) side of me is completely content with being surprised by whatever may come along with it all. Exciting stuff!
I dig the idea of Multiple Biome Planets; Polar regions, temperate and tropical zones exist even on frozen and poisonous world (to name a few), so why not . Light No Fire is essentially a one planet game so you know they are working to get that multiple biomed, so if they figured it out there why not do so in NMS as well. I do like the idea about another free week or two for everyone again; it makes sense.
People are not content with something discovered by another. That's why I don't always upload my system discoveries anymore. I let someone else have it if they maybe will love it more
I think gas planets would be relatively simple to implement. They would need to be bigger of course, but they would otherwise function similar to a normal planet (you would enter the atmosphere like normally, but instead of landing like on a normal planet, you would bounce off from an inner layer, the ship system stating some kind of danger message). Perhaps they could implement some kind of floating POIs too.
You have to go to korvax dissonance systems. Then go to the dissonance planet and scan for alien structures. There is a podium around the structure where you put in atlantium and you will see them there.
@andrewwhillhous2435 Also they removed the water physics rippling effect when your character moves through it, lower clouds sometimes touching the land, windy storms that doesn't always have the sky full of the clouds, etc. 👍
it's not a bad thought but, the current expedition is related to a potential worlds part 2 launch and would it be weird if there was some switch with that expedition that ties into the new update. I don't know it's seems odd and like HG / Sean Murray is trying to keep us guessing. Interesting spin to say the least. I only think it could be part 2 because that was initially said to happen last year but was changed after bug fixes dropped.

THE TRIPLE EMOJI TWEET DROPPED
This is a good reminder to not flip out over the emoji. :D
But…it’s tradition to flip out over the emoji 😢
Absolutely!

So many galaxies and planets, yet their essence and inhabitants are the same, so what’s the point of having so many?
You could say this about humans too..

The speculation videos have been crazy the last few times Sean has posted an emoji lol. Glad there's still some sanity out there.
Sean posted 3 ring planets now 30 mins ago lol
He waited just to contradict this video
Yeah, isn't that annoying? Nah... It's fine. I said "Let's hope I'm wrong..." - so I was wrong, and glad to have been.
He has done the triple emoji with updates before Worlds. Usually a few days after the first.
One thing I have not heard discussed is full roll out of cross save. How that relates to a planet emoji I don't know.
1:50 where do you find those tools?
Which tools?

I just want Lego NMS!
I get that. When people ask why I like NMS I already tell them that it reminds me of Lego
really sorry to be rude by like why would you want that. just go play a lego game… or actually lego?
Or their own version so the devs get most of the cut!
That would be 😎
Keep your expectations low for worlds part two
Also you know what else annoys me, is when they remove or downgrade the features found in these trailers and I'm like...Why?!?!
Like what?

Great video. Thanks!
Is there a chance that some of the current pla ets might change?
I think the chances that some planets will change is 100%.
Sean said they are refreshing the universe...
Light no fire is gonna be the exact same thing except no space
Possible. Somewhat unlikely, I think. I think there will be a little more RPG in LNF.

That's OK. Maybe this game isn't for you - that's perfectly fine. Not everybody finds what to do after the few initial quest lines are done.
