Love all your points in this video review. I found CC through watching Anthony O'neil and Cyrus too. I 'm an introvert so I didn't take the Tech Sales course but I took Course Careers IT course but felt the same way about using other resources to find work and not solely rely on Course Careers tools to find a job. It took me 6 months of dedication and used some AI tools, but I did finally land a job and doubled my pay. I agree, Course Careers is good but not a requirement to land a job. If you have transferable skills emphasize that on your resume and connecting with others. Overall, CC gives a great wealth of information and tips, and no regrets! it's way more affordable bootcamp than some of these other tech bootcamps I've seen for $3K, $5K, $10K. Thanks for sharing your viewpoint!
Thank you for watching and I’m glad you found a good job
You’re right about the degree , right about applying for jobs and right about not many companies knowing about course careers. I passed my final exam 1 month ago. I’ve interviewed with 3 companies two I’ve made it to final rounds but wasn’t selected. The 3rd company I had my first interview today. It’s been rough but I’m staying positive.
Just be patient , the right opportunity will come your way. Just stay sharp and reach out to the discord groups for more help if you need.
It's not as easy to get a job as it once was.
I will second the idea of listening to the course while in the car. There is not many visual aspects of the course except when they are explaining the cycles and some other material but a nice chunk of the course can be listened to! With my schedule I barely have time to just sit and do the course but I finished the material in 4 days.....I could have taken the test but I have a goal to score 90+ and to complete the optional project so even though I went through the material, I am aiming high as a challenge to myself. With that, there's is not an excuse of not having time if you truly want it. Best wishes to you Rich and hope you find the job that's right for you. It's ok to be picky when it comes to your livelihood!
Thank you for watching and I wish you the best of luck on your journey also
30k base is a joke. Studying for my final. I’m not looking for anything under 50k base. Slightly worried I may struggle when applying. Thank you for this video.
Just apply for multiple jobs so no matter what you’re not waiting long to be interviewed.
Will do thank you.
Thanks for the realistic perspective.
Any time!
Thank you for sharing. I wish I seen this video sooner. I’m currently enrolled. Taking my time because my husband and I are expecting. It is great study material and refresher. Just like you said with having a sales background it’s reiterating information but beneficial in other aspects even with creating RUclips content.
Glad it was helpful! And good luck with finishing the course
I respect this video, because I started and was sort of thinking the same thing
Glad I could help
Thank you for your review. I just purchased the course yesterday!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for keeping it a buck! Joined last Friday and will now start to apply.
Let me know how this journey goes for you.
Right now there's a lot of layoffs in the tech industry to justify for their over zealous hiring of people doing remote work during COVID-19 and also using the excuse of the economy. Keep applying and wait it out. The demand in tech is high and they will come running for sales people. Especially the inexperienced because they can pay them less. Some companies are intimidated by people with a lot of sales experience and this can make it hard for them to get hired.
I agree with 100% of the things you said. Companies were offering a bigger bag before. They think just offering you a remote opportunity is more than enough.
You are on point, very well explained. Thank you and good luck on your job searching.
Thank you , I’m glad it was helpful
Thank you for sharing your review.

All I can say is "HANDSOMMMMMEEE!"
I was thinking about purchasing it for my birthday thats coming up although I'm turning 17 so do you think I'll be able to land a job or at least an internship at 17?
I think if you don’t want to go to college this would be a great course to give you experience. It teaches you sales, communication , and tech. If you are still unsure about your future this is a great course to get the ball rolling. Most high school kids won’t have work experience on their resumes after they graduate so it will help Offer some experience on your resume. Continue to do more research and see what works for you. However One book in college could cost as much as the course so chose your future wisely.
Appreciate the transparency. 👍🏾
Always!
Great solid in depth review
Thank you for watching
I have sales experience and I didn't feel like taking the course would benefit me more than I could do myself. I was also looking at the ux design course with coursera. I'm not really a seller, I'm not pushy.
With tech sales you’re not selling anything. Your job is to set up appointments and meetings. The account executive will sell it. Your sales knowledge is always beneficial but it needs to be specific to what is taught in tech sales.
Hope that helps
amazing video you took ur time and ur calm cool collective thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!p
This was a great video bro. Very insightful. subscribed. 💯
Thanks for the sub!
Awesome!
It's obvious he still hasn't landed a job... so the answer is no... but i could be wrong... hope he get a job
Still on my search just being a little picky.
Question: I know the course doesn't mean a job guarantee. But does it give me something I can put on a resume as a verified certificate type of thing? So that I stand out from somebody who's not done any of them? Obviously the course gives me skills and then if I can show case my ability to solve a problem people would hire me. But I am looking to make a more calculated bet here. Rather than just grinding it out for years and hoping that something will happen.
Yes you actually get a certificate of completion. Also once you complete the course they have another team that sends your resume to companies they’re partnered with. The company helps find job or internship if you are unable to find any after 30 days.
Thank you very much sir for your honesty i will sub to you
course career is good oportunity, i am thinking of gathering enough money 700$ (after taxes) then apply to give me a boost in IT field even though it's not garented that i will get a job
At least i can put my foot on the door and then let luck play it part
it's slightley better than a college degree with no garentie of a job and the knowledge may be oudated i prefer course carrer.
I’m always hear to help and share my knowledge. Good luck no matter what route you choose!
Thanks for keeping it real, excellent share!
Thanks for watching!
What tools do they teach you? Do they teach softwares like HubSpot and salesforce? Or something lese. let me know
They teach the hubspot and sales force material
I've been looking around and I can't find a syllabus anywhere. I can't even get a sense of the curriculum which is already a red flag. Is CC going to give me the certifications companies want to see?
Use my link that I shared and you can do the free introduction course to see what the course would have. Also they give you a certificate
Is it available to Internationals- Africa?
The course is available for anyone in any country. The context and information is in English. Trying to find a remote job in Africa I’m not sure of.
Did you ever find employment?
W video.... W W W
So u did get a job right ?
Still searching
Is it a good boot camp to actually get a job? I’m in Canada
It’s a great course because it is self pace and affordable.
Canada's market is shaky, don't know its probably better in the states. After doing rocket coder and some skillshare courses I feel like most of these bootcamps are just quick cash grabs.
@@phoenixrising4995 believe it or not I have many friends who found better and higher paying tech jobs in Canada. There are tech jobs everywhere. I try to stick to companies that are more English speaking. Course careers is only 500$ and you break even on that investment after your first week of employment. The information may be the same but the support group helps you interview, helps you reach out to other companies, and last you get to hear from other people in the same spot as you.
@@richarddavid1839 Where in Canada did your friends find work??
@@AskChef the Quebec area , with a company called FLO. They focus on E.V. Look into that sector
you got a job yet?
I currently have a sales job but I have not transitioned into an sdr position
Your speech and delivery shows you are trying way too hard
Yes I am trying hard. Thank you for recognizing. It’s always a blessing to be able to help people. Whether it’s 11,000 or just one. Thank you for watching
I saw many videos to know about *Career Course* and all of these videos have affiliate link so little bit sceptical whether to trust or not?
They have a free introduction course you can take before signing up. It will help you get a better feel to know if it’s for you or not. Hope this helps
