    Millie I respect you so much as a person, you're probably the most real RUclipsr I watch which is so refreshing. Completely understand what you mean when you say "I just can't be in a relationship at this stage in my life, I've got a lot of work to do on myself" Never resonated with something so much. You're amazing, never stop being you pls x

    I know how you feel when you say you can’t be in a relationship. I’m in rehab at the moment and it’s fucking hard, I have to work on my spirituality A LOT if there’s any chance of me staying clean. I have to be mindful of myself every day and even selfish as much as I wish I didn’t have to be. Relationships simply aren’t in the cards for me at the moment so I really relate! I know you can get through this though Mille you seem to have your head screwed on and your going in the right direction even though it’s hard! A little growth is still growth

    positive, stable, loving relationships for me, the kind that heal & transform, are ones where there’s room to mess up or be an idiot, to hold stupid beliefs, to be a work in progress in our unpatterning from toxic norms.
    don't be hard on yourself, and healing before getting into a relationship is one of the biggest myths, there are days when you're not gonna love urself anyways so remember that you deserve to be loved no matter what happens and just like we're hurt in a relationship, we heal in a relationship!
    take care

    Millie, I work in a nursing home and am trained to look after people in their last few weeks/hours/days/minutes and I still find it heartbreaking, I cannot even imagine how hard it must have been to do that for a loved one. Make sure you talk to someone about the experience you went through, I hate the thought of you suffering, sending you so much love xx

  • @OlaAniela
    @OlaAniela 2 года назад +55

    I think two "whole" people meet and just vibe together in life by love, spending time, chats, fun, routine and activities. There doesnt have to be such a thing where you each have to give 50% of yourself to fill the other... your both the full 100% each internally-individually, living side by side in love. Not that "i found my other half" type thinking. Also, what if theres more to miss out on by pushing someone back that you just naturally feel comfortable and open with? Surely the feeling of love always wins over everything even fear of loosing someone. Love>Fear ❤xxx

    • @gemcockrell
      @gemcockrell 2 года назад +3

      This is how I think about it… you should still be able to work on yourself whilst being with someone else if the relationship is healthy and right. And if you push them away and let them go, you might regret that in the future. Because if you push them away, you have lost them and the fear of losing them comes true inevitably, when you may never have lost them anyway x

    I'm probably 1 of your oldest viewers 🤪 (45), you've given me so much peace on how to deal with my grief around my mum. She has cancer and has recently taken a turn for the worse. Mentally she's not the same person anymore and it's tough. I hate showing emotion, but it's comes out whether I want it to or not and I'm learning to let it be. Watching someone young being so wise and sharing how they've dealt with their grief really helps.
    Thank you ❤️

    Exactly the same.. but with my dad a couple of months ago. It’s like you had to be there but the devastation and trauma afterwards is so hard. Thing is I was an anxious person had panic attacks and stuff and I knew how I’d feel afterwards but I thought well it’s him or me. Meaning i can avoid being there and not seeing all that and make sure I’m ok or be there every step until his last breath to comfort him… I chose him. Fk my mental health as long as I was there and I was comforting him as he left then anything else can get fked. Seems harsh but as much as I’ll never get over that I don’t regret my choice x.

Ur mom passed, u went into a crazy experience in locked in, met new people, learned new lessons, went into what u say was a healthy relationship with Jamie, and probably much more. Ur a new person with new experiences. Don't try and be who u used to be, be someone ur happy to be now and moving on.

    I so know what you mean by “finding your old self” and you can…to an extent. I think it’s so amazing you’re working on yourself it’s definitely one of the best things you can do ever. But you will never truly be your old self as that was a different person. That person hasn’t had the experience and lessons/ trials the “new you” has, you have to love and appreciate who you are now. As you currently are so much more wiser and open minded than your old self ever was. Instead of viewing the old me vs the new me, maybe take that away? And just view yourself as continuously growing and flourishing. Idk I don’t really know what I’m talking about or if that makes sense but just a thought lol xx

    I lost my mum to cancer 6 days after my 18th birthday and then lost my dad when I was 22. It absolutely changes you! And I will never ever ever apologize for talking about the both of them. The trauma I still have from both of their deaths will haunt me forever. I'm 30 now and it's still hard now as it was back then. It's changed me so much as a person in more bad ways then good but I'm still learning how to cope and grieve. It's not easy and it's no walk in the park. I've been told numerous times to get over it and honestly I don't talk to them anymore and if I do I have no respect for them. It's an emotional Rollercoaster and millie, cry as much as you want. The sympathy is understandable. I'm the same. Sending love

    I lost my step mum in 2013 to breast cancer. This video speaks to me like nothing I’ve ever watched on grief has. Especially about not caring about small things. I don't think you should ever worry / apologise for crying or speaking about the aftermath of losing your mum. I've recently lost my auntie to cancer. My 14 year old cousin, has lost her mum. Like you said in this video, you are my comfort youtuber, without sounding cringe and me watching your videos has allowed me to try and understand / prepare how to be there for my cousin. I am building up to it, as i think things may be a little to raw at the moment, but i will recommend her watching your videos, as I know she'd be able to relate massively and gather hope she can find comfort in the fact she isn't alone in feeling this way. For that I can only thank you. Keep being you, I hope things get better. I know a lot of people may say it, but 100% your mum would be so proud for expressing your feelings on such a huge platform - look at how many people you're helping... ♡

    I don’t judge your decision as long as you felt it was right for you and yeah it’s true you have been through soo much that has put a lot of Strain on your mental health as much as I think Jamie was perfect for you and you was happy with him i completely understand your break up… you just need time to figure yourself out and work on who you are as a person which is okay as well.. I just hope things work out in the future and I just hope that one day you and Jamie will get back together again but for now it is what it is ❤️❤️❤️ also You’re Damn Gourgeous I wish I could be your right now

    I love that you're raw and real! Have a good cry girl, makes me feel better having a cry every now and then! I lost my nana to cancer and now everything reminds me of her and makes me ball my eyes out! Keep being you, because you is beautiful! 💖💖
