Omg, @3:00 was tripping me up so bad because I couldn't find any screws or hex holes. But apparently, you just pry it off from the top with a flathead. You saved me alot of frustration, thank you!
Did you get this figured out? Or what are you calling the interior trim? I can't figure out how to remove the Rosette if that's what you were talking about.

How do you remove the Rosette?
Nvm there was a little inner circle with two line shaped tiny notches. It unscrews/spins out.
not sure what you replaced.
How did you remove the interior trim?? It is outside the camera area. Did you use a screwdriver or a spanner wrench?
