    Thanks Mike, great lesson as usual. I tend to play the basic melody on the songs I'm learning, but I'm going all out for the double stop version on this tune.👍

    Merci beaucoup pour cette leçon. J'utilise une mandoline de mon défunt père, fabriquée par un très grand luthier à Mirecourt (Vosges)

    Great lesson. Not to be pedantic but Ewan MacColl’s original version was in different timing. I think the Pogues made it 4 time and easier to play. Thanks again for the lesson.

    Every time I watch your videos, you make things click! Everyone else is great too but you get me and my learning style! Thank you so much! Only a few months into learning and still trying to get myself playing in time and sounding good (with the cheapest Amazon mandolin I could find). But, I'm loving it. Thank you soooo much for sharing your knowledge!!!!

    How about something by Warren Zevon. Such as Vast Indifference of Heaven or Don't Let Is Get Sick.
    Or your favorite

    Brilliant video, When you tremolo, are you always playing the E strings, regardless what strings you are picking?

      @MandoMikeLessons  Год назад +1

      Thanks Christy. No, I am only playing tremolo on the string I want to ring out ... if you always hit the E string, then you run the risk of that note clashing with the one you want to tremolo.
