Good job! On mine I ran the back water outlets under the tunnel ram ports along the valley cover to the back of the water crossover at the 'stat outlet. Without looking real hard, you don't see them. The water pump pushes cold water in the front of the block. As it passes each cyld., it gets progressively hotter. I placed outlets on the pressure side of my Edelbrock water pump and ran lines down the outside of the block into the rearmost frost plugs. Now the cooled water goes into the front of the block AND into the rear of the block to even out cyld. temps. This makes much more even jetting for the carbs, as well as even heat distribution. Again done properly with flat black, it's hard to notice it's even there. Makes cooling a high powered road machine, much easier.

I like that water cooling modification it looks pretty trick in its simplicity and of course your attention to detail with the linkages and fuel lines is really admirable. Great stuff to see, love all your videos as I'm going through them.

Extra water lines are used on Chevrolet Small Blocks with Siamese cylinder bore blocks. Yes works fine. Watch you spark plug readings. Cross over no improvement at all. Back in the 90’s I did testing while designing HP gaskets at FEL-PRO. Best of luck.

Looking great! That is definitely jewelry with benefits !
That trick with the ratchet straps is a good one.
I grew up planting trees as a subcontractor for the local parks department and “staking” trees is a requirement. The benefits of that was the amount of heavy gauge wire I have. It’s like baling wire just a heavier gauge and galvanized. I’d run a couple of lengths under the bellhousing and it works like a charm.
I’m looking forward to seeing that monster on a dyno. Keep the great videos coming 😃👍

Looking good. I run the same intake and found the valve covers would not sit on the heads do to the angle of the intake . I found a fix for that I bought a set of 3/8 machined aluminum spacers on eBay to raise the covers enough to clear the intake . Clean looking and no leaks .

Pretty trick setup on that water jacket bypass. Who says you can't borrow ideas from the circle track contingent. A cooler engine is always better than a hot engine, especially if you go rounds.

The W5 cylinder head also has a spot in the center of the head for water/coolant removal.
The intake does not. But it is easy enough to drill out a large enough hole to install whatever you need.

@@SimpsonsSpeedShop Yes and no. Complainers site expensive valve train with few options with Harland sharps being the cheapest over the TD or Jesel. But you do get what you paid for here. The cylinder heads themselves were a bit pricey when they were available new, which is a shame (IMO) that the W5 is no longer available.
Between the Edelbrock & the TF head and talented porters, there should not be much of a problem going fast. If there is, There is the wicked Victor or W9!
