The shoulders have a lot of range, its pretty damn good after toying around with it, if you measure the length of the whole body the legs are perfect, you just gotta loosen up the figure and get to know the articulation, the joints is the only issue for me but i always manage to pose him however i want, although there's some stiff joints you can buy around for example that'd make posing the sword easier, i grew up with Berserk, as an artist this thing is just so damn beautiful to not want it or keep it. But if they made a reissue with the new joints on the berserker mode figure... i'd consider getting that.
@@BozmundOs i get what you're saying and i'd agree but the glaring issue with guts is that the figure's arms are too long so it throws off the proportions a lot. Arms overall are awful, who in their right mind would design a shoulder like they did which is a mix of revoltech and some other shit. It gives you range, sure, but so does a normal setup they do every time (with their Spider-Men for example) so you don't need these types of joints that disconect the arm from the body. It's almost as bad as what hasbro did for RYV Spidey and his neck joint except it didn't allow for any movement up. Overall this figure is hard to judge, it has a lot of nice details and accesories and range which I love, it looks ridiculously good in many poses but once you look into the technical aspects it starts to go from awesome to meh. I wish Bandai would stop with making some of those strange decisions because this figure and the Griffith were so close to being great. So depressing P.S. - He also can't hold his sword which is the biggest issue, the wrist joint is too small and short.

And yet i always manage to pose him with the sword, the design of Guts is heavily detailed and armored, i think for it to WORK this was an excellent route like, of course if you want you can drop the shoulders and make the hands touch the KNEES, but that's on you, you can make it look crappy, and you can make it look awesome. A damn again, if they went for simpler we'd get an articulation akin to the Figma, and i rather take more articulation to less articulation if it just means i can manage to make the figure look like crap. Y'all whine so much and dont try to even want to try to get to know your expensive RELATIVELY more complex figure cause it aint as simple as a 30 bucks marvel legends or something.

I've seen reviews where people that got him from Hong Kong factory just exploded in their hands. With that being said, it's just luck and skill to find a better factory version or buy better joint. The thing is that people shouldn't do it given how expensive the figure is. You should expect quality in more than just aesthetics and most joints for such price. I own a lot of figures that are hard to know but once you do it it's rewarding like a lot of revoltech. I just wish they could rethink some things before sending it out, maybe another stand for if you wanted to support the sword or better wrist joint would be enough. When it comes to berserk, figuarts is all i have so it will do until reissue as you said and given how popular the Guts is, it must happen.

If it wasn't for the qc issues (pieces falling off, loose joints) and strange proportions I'd buy it in a heartbeat
