Ah yes, the Australian is an interesting creature to behold. Loud, brash, self depricating, and 'special' with extra emphasis on the SP. I know a few, they are delightful, especially when they lose to us in the rugby. God bless em 🤣
Blue definitely appreciated the dryer removing most of her itchy undercoat. I can tell the dogs feel much better after they've been groomed by their facial expression.
This is why I brush my Foster at least once a day. Especially if there are weed seeds stuck in his fur. He loves the attention so it’s no struggle. Our other dog hates to be crushed but I use one of those grooming gloves to remove the undercoat.
What a beautiful girl (I love those eyes) and so well-behaved. She seems to love the blow-dryer, the way she turns her head up as it gets to her neck.🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕
@@michelelewis5666 - I've never met an Aussie shepherd (or an Aussie in general for that matter) that I didn't like. Thinking of getting one as a hiking companion.
Don’t get me wrong I love your more voice over-y videos but these longer videos with the long cuts of the process are unbelievably relaxing and pleasant to watch, thank you so much for sharing your wonderful profession with us 💚
Funny - I just finished bathing my own Australian Shepherd a couple hours ago - outside, on my driveway, with the garden hose. He hasn’t started blowing his coat yet. I know he was surprised to get his bath right after breakfast, but it was a bright, warm and sunny day….and thunderstorms are forecast for the next several days. All clean and floofy now❤️🐾❤️
What never ceases to amuse me is how much your coral slicker brush resembles half of a set of ye-olde wool carding brushes. With some dogs' coats, it's not even a stretch to think you could spin all that shed floof into yarn~😂🐑🧶
Some people do actually use fur from longhaired cats to make yarn! I saw a show on it a while back, it was a lady who would make purses for people from their cat's hair after the cat passed away. It was slightly odd, but sweet
Aussies are my heart-breed. I've worked with Aussie rescue and am in love with every Australian Shepherd I've ever seen. They can be crazy and hyper, but I still love them. On the other hand, if someone is thinking about getting an Aussie, do your research first and make sure you have the temperament. Too many wind up in shelters or abused due to their personalities. I had a foster fail Aussie who was a lunatic but he and I were inseparable. I pulled him from a kill shelter on his death day and wound up keeping him. The day after the decision, I took him to a dog park to play frisbee and was attacked by a pit bull. Rocket ran up to the pit and fought him off me, severely wounding the pit in the process. I saved his life and he saved mine. He lived 12 years and went to sleep peacefully in my arms. I'm still crying as I write this. Damn I miss that goofy wiggle-butt.
I love that look when a dog is clearly thinking about the words you are saying and tilts their head, my black lab mix name Matilda does it all the time if you talk to her.
There's this Australian shepherd in a shop I pass by on my way to work. The beautiful dog is always sitting quietly, looking at passersby through the glass while its human works. Such a good boy (or girl) !
Mail clipping LOL (Ik you meant mail but I also initially read it as mall so was confused for a moment 😅 astigmatism things). Anyway it was a funny image, so thank you :>
Furnado without you wearing your pink beekeeper's hat? Very daring! 😆 Blue is so cute enjoying the blowdryer so much! She looked like so happy and smiling! 😍😍😍
I had an Australian Shepherd/Boarder Collie when I was a teen and I loved when he came back from the groomers. He was so freaking fluffy and smelled so good, I would hug and cuddle him like crazy.
You can tell she's had enough visits where she is actually starting to enjoy the drying table. I enjoy watching her lean into you, drying her, like it felt good.
I knew a truck driver who had an Australian Shepherd named Buddy who would ride in his Freightshaker with him. He was even trained to stand on the top step of the fuel tank to have his paws cleaned before getting back into the cab after he went to do his business.
Oh my goodness.. This sweet girl looks and acts almost exactly like a bigger and floofier version of my mini Aussie Luna, right down to the tap dancing and pressing her butt to the wall to avoid me getting to it during grooming. 😂 I just wish she loved the dryer as much as Blue clearly does, LOL. We're still getting there on teaching her that the danger tube is friend, not foe. Love to see a gorgeous Aussie who has clearly been raised well and loved well by their people (and their groomer, of course!). ❤
What an absolutely gorgeous puppy. I bet that bath feels really good when blowing their coat because that's got to itch like crazy! She's loving that blow dry.
Aussies are such a wonderful breed. I had one, my girl Sweetheart for 14 years. She loved being groomed and whenever I would groom her she'd become what I called "Coma dog".
What a *cute* lady! So well behaved, and just loved the dryer. Especially on her ruff. I know nothing about her breed standards, but to me she has an absolutely beautiful head.
Blue is almost a dead ringer for my Maya, who left us about a year ago. Maya had only one blue eye, however. But she was a blue merle with copper points, very much like Blue. Aussies are fabulous!
Blue is the equivalent of the effortlessly beautiful, smart and popular cheerleader in school that you want to hate but you love because she is so cool 😊. Look at her. She is amazing! 😍🫠👌
Lol. The thumbnail: 👁👅👁 Also, I told my five year old that this was an Australian Shepherd named Blue and he asked excitedly “for real life!?” She’s a beauty and so well behaved. Proper little lady.
She is one of the best-behaved Australian shepherds that I’ve ever seen! We groom two Australian shepherds and they are both very squirmy on the table and one of them requires 3 people to hold him still for his nails.
I love Aussies! I had a Kelpie. Never needed a leash because he wouldn't get more than a few feet from me. Most love the water, but mine was afraid of the vacuum.
Her face in the bath was like “I dislike this immensely, but I refuse to make my breed look bad so I will tolerate it for now”. ❤️
😆
😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂😂😂👍👍
the Long-Suffering Glances thrown at Vanessa AND the Cameraman were killing me 😆
I have never seen such a stoic dog, shes adorable!
Aussies always seem to fit right in that perfect sweet spot of simultaneously majestic and derpy.
You should see our men! 😂
I have a mini, he is indeed majestic and derpy all at once.
Ah yes, the Australian is an interesting creature to behold. Loud, brash, self depricating, and 'special' with extra emphasis on the SP. I know a few, they are delightful, especially when they lose to us in the rugby. God bless em 🤣
My mini is heavy on the derp side but he's still a puppy lol
...and also they have dogs!
I love it... she is giving you the side eye.... but so quietly... like... 'you KNOW i don't like this!'
I know! The little glare was SOOO stinking cute!
the iconic aussie side eye
Yeah, i was just thinking Blue must be thinking to herself: damn, i hate this. Why does Vanessa always do this?!
Awwww, she is just _loving_ that dryer! SO cute!
She's really enjoying it. 😍😍😍
Was thinking the same thing she is in heaven
Well she was itchy... Bet if felt good
As an aussie owner, that's the only reason they tolerate the bathh
❤❤ & she somehow managed to look serene in a wind tunnel!😊 Neat trick! 🐕 STUNNING Queen!👑
The head tilts get me every-time. So cute.
Me too! I'm yelling AWWWWWWW into my device every time.
I'm sitting at this table 💞
I was expecting an AWOO when she said, "Say 'bye', Blue!" but I guess those were a little backed up.
Blue definitely appreciated the dryer removing most of her itchy undercoat. I can tell the dogs feel much better after they've been groomed by their facial expression.

I saw that too. :)
👍💯😀 Amazing Fufur!!
I agree fully!
Those eyes were judging by the time she got to the nail clipping though.
And the dog is gorgeous as well. 😉
She was very well behaved throughout the entire session. She didn't love the shampooing, but she was really into the blowout.
I agree. She was a very good doggie, especially compared to many of the other dogs on this channel.❤️

My thoughts exactly and I just received some not so good news, and the videos of her help me relax and not be angry. ❤️🩷🩵
I know, right? Honestly, it's cheaper than therapy and way more relaxing
Same! And at the end of this video, I was thinking, "Wait, I thought this was 12 minutes!" It didn't feel like 12 minutes at all.
@@jaleesagreene6800 If my psychiatrist ever suggests meditation, I'll refer her to this channel and say, "I got that covered!"
Totally Agree 💯👍♥️
Blue, like my late Shetland Sheepdog, dances the Flamenco, with her toenails substituting for castanets. Such talent!
I long time ago, I had a Sheltie, they are the most beautiful dogs
😂😊
Sooo love your description!! 😄

I love how soft Australian shepherds feel after drying off from a warm bath. 👍
Does yours shed this much?🤔
I do believe SHE'S LOVING THE DRYER 🐾💖😂😂
Her expression is "I COULD DO THIS ALLL DAY!!! 💖🐾
I’m glad my Australian Shepherd isn’t the only one that gives that side eye! She constantly gives it 😂
That's my Rachael.
What a sweetie. You can tell she isn't loving it but knows that she needs to be a good girl.

People used to do that with samoyeds. The people who developed the breed in Siberia would use their shed fur.
i know that birds use the fur and floof for there nest as bedding material for there babes
Yes, we do spin it, either by itself or mixed with wool. Aussie is particularly nice.
People do that. It’s called chiengora (chien as in French for dog + angora).

They are full of love and courage!

I love when dogs do the happy lean into the dryer!
From squinty with enjoyment at the blow dryer to squinting with suspicious at the mail clipping 😂 what a cutie!
Mail clipping LOL (Ik you meant mail but I also initially read it as mall so was confused for a moment 😅 astigmatism things). Anyway it was a funny image, so thank you :>
She was such a doll during the entire grooming. :)
Furnado without you wearing your pink beekeeper's hat? Very daring! 😆
Blue is so cute enjoying the blowdryer so much! She looked like so happy and smiling! 😍😍😍
It was nice to see a pet enjoying the drying process for once. What a good doggo. :)
This breed never disappoints. So lovely and intelligent. Gorgeous dog.
I've had several Aussies. My best I had for almost 16 years. She would never shake unless I told her to. The smartest dog I ever owned.
I had an Australian Shepherd/Boarder Collie when I was a teen and I loved when he came back from the groomers. He was so freaking fluffy and smelled so good, I would hug and cuddle him like crazy.

What a lovely doggie. Very friendly & a great dancer 😁
These videos are so relaxing to me. It's such a great way to take a break from how hectic life can be at times.
Recently i discovered that leaving the happy hoodie on while clipping the nails helps a lot! Dogs usually don't like just the sound of clipping
I knew a truck driver who had an Australian Shepherd named Buddy who would ride in his Freightshaker with him. He was even trained to stand on the top step of the fuel tank to have his paws cleaned before getting back into the cab after he went to do his business.
I love how their head tilts when the air hits around the neck area. Feels so good.
I literally LOL'D by myself in my room at the speed up talking 🤣🤣🤣 Such a cute fluffer puffer.
Blue has perfected the "world-weary resignation" look! 😆
Such a beautiful puppy, pretty well behaved as well, love the paws...SO CUTE!!!!!
She looks so resigned once you put on the belly band. “Just go ahead, do what you must.” You did a beautiful job.
She's so gorgeous and well-behaved. I hope her owner puts in lots of cuddle time!
Me too!! I wish I could cuddle that cutie!!
I love the look on the dogs face when they are sooooo ichy and the air hose helps get the ichies

Lol I was in the middle of telling my cat to sit for her dinner when you said the same thing to sit to the little cutie! Love your videos so much xx
what a sweet patient dog
The cheeky side-eye at around the 1 minute mark was lovely - "Excuse me, what are you doing back there?" 😃
It’s such a treat to see a dog actually enjoy the dryer!
What a beautiful dog. I love the blue merle
on Aussie Shepards
She’s so fwuffy! Such a sweetie-a complete lovable, huggable foof!
She was loving the dryer. She’s a beauty
She has such an expressive face, particularly her eyes.
She’s a gorgeous good girl 🐶
Such a beautiful girl. You can see in her eyes that she’s an intelligent doggo . ❤️
She is a beauty!! I love the color of her eyes and the colors in her coat!
What an absolutely gorgeous puppy. I bet that bath feels really good when blowing their coat because that's got to itch like crazy! She's loving that blow dry.
I love her little tap dance, it's so cute!

blue is so darn cute. thank you for sharing
What an expressive face❤
She is THOROUGHLY loving the blow dryer. 🥰
Her side eyes were adorable!😂
She is such a sweet girl! And you can see the relief on her face with the dryer removing the undercoat🥰
Aussies are one of my favorite breeds. Such great dogs.
I couldn't agree more. I had one for 14 years and she was the best girl ever.
She gives the best side eye! 😂 She’s so cute. 🥰
Blue is a stunning girl! My niece has an Aussie and they’re just such sweet pups!
Blue is gorgeous and the queen of the side eyes 👀
I adore watching the dogs that really love the blow dryer and lean into it like that!
What a chill girl, she just stands there and takes it like a champ
Blue is almost a dead ringer for my Maya, who left us about a year ago. Maya had only one blue eye, however. But she was a blue merle with copper points, very much like Blue. Aussies are fabulous!
My Westie is sitting on my lap paying very close attention to this grooming. She loves your videos. She's getting groomed tomorrow btw.

Her enjoyment of the blow dryer is so cute
Blue Merle is my favorite coloring. I had a blue merle sheltie growing up and I've loved them ever since.
Blue is so pretty!
The parts where she goes 'Do not shake' only to have the dog shake happens so often it makes me laugh.
I love when the dogs love the blow dryer and lean into it.
Her expressions during the blowdry were tooooo cute.
The way she cuts those eyes! I have no idea how you get through that beautiful coat!
Such a well behaved little lady. The way she turned and lifted her head for the blow dry just screams "Yeah.. I do this a lot-"
She is one of the best-behaved Australian shepherds that I’ve ever seen! We groom two Australian shepherds and they are both very squirmy on the table and one of them requires 3 people to hold him still for his nails.
A tap dancing star with beautiful eyes, that's Blue! Adorable! ☺
She clearly thinks you're insane but she's tolerating your insanity because she's too polite to confront you about it.
I love how she's just obliging you to finish the grooming 😆😆😆 beautiful dog
The way she leaned into the hair dryer was adorable, poor itchy girl 🥺
I love blues Markings she's gorgeous
I love how the moment the blower turns off, she goes "Ain't having none of this".
She is so patient and sweet!
Her side eye game tho! 😂 so cute!
Glad I'm not the only one with a tap dancing Aussie queen! And I consistently get the passive side-eye lol
beautiful expressive dog
What a sweet and tolerant girl 💕
What a patient pup..and clearly loving the dryer 🥰
She is such a beautiful dog! She looks like a giant Gidget. 😍
She looks like she's having the time of her life when you're drying her 🥰
What a gorgeous, well-behaved fur baby!
She's got the face of a friend who'd warn you that someone who seems friendly with you is talking smack behind your back! 😁
She sure cleaned up well. Great job to both of you.
I had an Aussie Shep and no matter how much I combed her (every day by the way), I always found fur tumbleweeds floating around the house.
So cute love the side eyes, like okay what she's going to do next,😂😂
Awww I love her. What a sweetheart ❤
She's a beautiful dog. Her coat is gorgeous
