And now 2 years later Ale' and her sisters are opening for Muse for 4 shows in Mexico. What a story.
And another 5 shows in europe
They opened up for Muse last night in Plymouth, they were incredible 🙌🏻
And now, in 2023, they're on tour in Europe with Muse, headlining their own shows and opening 5 shows for Muse and also Royal Blood.
@@YoYoZamolodid you see the nip slip? 😅
instant respect for bass players who doesn't let the music play loud in the background
wdym ?
@@devonshire458 A lot of these bass channels put the music so loud in the background that it’s hard to hear the bass line (which is the focus of the video)
In other words you can tell she is paying the notes
@@funkycensoredcat9000 probably because we're so used to being on 3 dB that everything sounds so weird otherwise.
So true man
The Bass is the most underrated instrument in rock. Without it, no rock song would be the same. Great job Ale! (I know, 2 years late, but hey, I just saw this. Give an old man a break!).
Most of the time, you can hardly notice the bass, but if it stops playing, the song feels like it went "offline" or is muted. The bass sound is the soul of any song.
And Justice for All begs to differ lol.
For those whom are tipped on this one.
It’s a throw away joke.
Laugh and touch grass.
so real
@@goblinsnguitars Have you heard the "enhanced bass" versions of that album? It's freakin' night and day, the way it should have sounded since 1988... Here, you're welcome: /watch?v=vumrar1k928&t=3194s
I hate bassists
I am 60 year bassist, these is pure joy seeing a girl of these age playing mastefull. Rock it's not death, just starting.
That's got to be one of the greatest basslines in history.
Has to be
It's pretty simple but it sounds so good.
@@luf4rall Yeah, simple but your arm will fucking hurt if you are not used to it :D
Nahh, every bassline made by Ryan Martinie, Victor Wooten, Les Claypool is better than this.
@@adolfopineda576 nah
I love how the bassline sounds straight out of a NES boss level.
Sounds like the first level of the original Doom
@@moosesnWoop it reminded me of double dragon 2
It's that J bridge pickup sound (even though she's playing on a PJ)
@@moosesnWoop I almost instantly was reminded of Doom music lol.
@@eduardoescobar1906 Contra
this looks like her warm-up to a jam session. but for me, this is boss-level bass tabs.
can’t get over how satisfying it is to watch this
Same here.. amazing
It is pretty epic!
Love the little smirk 1/2 way through the song. Like she's saying 'yeah it's easy I got this'. Ale brings the thunder 😊
I am an adoring fan of this woman. Not only a killer player, but also brings elegance and sophistication to TW
that is an insane bass line to play and Ale nailed it. These ladies were raised right. Very impressive
And now they’re about to play with muse! Love to see it
Sigh. I can't play that, not at tempo, and I've "only" been playing bass 50 years. But she's been playing since she was a baby! She's so gifted it's not fair! hehe (They all are!)
I've never played an instrument in my 64 yrs, nor do I want to. But I am totally impressed by anyone that can.. I slowed this down to a quarter speed to try to see what she was doing, and my brain hurt just trying to watch her hands. I have no freaking clue how anyone has the coordination to do that.
@@steve318k i cant play an instrument, but i learned guitar just a little bit,for me,that coordination like that is simple because your dominant hand are your strumming hand and you should have a feeling what strings do you pluck or strum
60 year old vs 17 year old fingers
Its an endurance riff
@@steve318k once you get started, you can learn most instruments. Same as learning languages, once your brain unlocks theres no limit but time
@@HaleftHaut - haha, I have the same feelings about those that can learn a second language - my brain hurts
Two years later, this is still so good. My go to bass cover of hysteria.
Dreams do come true! The Warning opening for Muse! Awesome!
Just went back to watch the recordered band covers for this song by the warning, you could clearly see the effort and the difficulty for Ale to play this song, she mastered it like a champ for this bass cover video... congratulations!
Some bass players can play bass lines extremely well but only a selected few can write something like that just insane
One of the greatest bass riffs of all time.
I’m a guitarist myself, but if I ever switch to bass, this song is the reason
Tonight Ale and her sisters just finished their last of 9 shows opening for Muse.
I could listen to these 3 sisters all day long, and this shows just how talented Ale really is, absolutely amazing!
And in summer of 2023 Ale and her sisters are going on an European tour with the Muse besides participating in music fests in England & Germany.
Living their dreams...
Wait... THEY'RE SISTERS????
Yeah
@@FlamingZelda3she is the youngest, then Paulina (the drummer), then Daniela (guitarist/lead singer)
Great tone that is authentic to the song, great timing and precision, she makes look as natural as breathing. Excellent.
What she does as part of The Warning is all that with the edge of their songs too!
I played bass for years and I'm telling you,a force to be reckoned with!
Check out her band's new single Choke or her base intro on their song Dust to Dust to see just what a force she is.
Most of the time when you there’s loud background music, you can’t hear the bass very well. But with Muse, You can definitely hear the bass. Very underrated.
And with The Warning... or really any power trio (yes, even Triumph, but Ale is vastly more interesting than Triumph's bassist was)
Epic!
I just got a bass guitar on Monday, it’s Wednesday. My friend has taught me the intro to a few songs, but I’ve not mastered them. The first song I’m learning is your song, Z! I’m taking the tempo down a few notches to get it, but I’m having so much fun!
Remember: she was only 16 when this video was recorded, and already playing like a champ!

Walking fingers. Naturally smooth great!!!! Can't wait to see you guys with Foo Fighters.
3 girls are FANTASITC Musicians .. so impressive.
This gives me hope for the future of bass and music as a whole.
I was here when this came out on my notif and now they opened for muse and I’m a big muse and warning fan (I discovered them same year in 2015), but now I’m back and soo proud 🖤
Ale is such an amazing bassist. 👍
I could listen to this for hours.
Be cautious with this one ! RUclips recommended this video to me couple days ago, and on the side was WARNING survive link. I didn't took WARNING seriously and clicked that link also. Now I'm addicted to listening their music every day !!!
🤣🤣🤣
Welcome to the rabbit hole!
You have been Warned!
Been there. Still doing that
You obviously have great taste in music ! 😜
Wow! The way Ale tickles those bass strings is mesmerizing!
Ale, hope you play this with Muse in your summer Euro tour with them on the "Alejandra Villarreal Spector USA Signature 5 String" bass that Spector gifted to you in 2020 when you were only 15.
That bass sounds out of this world & you have mastered your high action technique to play it like a fretless bass.
What an instrument that is!!!
What a bassist you are!!!
Blows my mind that a leading bass company custom designed a bass to suit a 15 year old girl. What a talent!!!
That is not the easiest bass line to play. She nails it like a walk in the park! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
she mastered this line since she was 8 or 9 years old
@@16ploog79 That certainly does help.
Perfect!
I’ve stood in front of Ale and Pau at full rock level. Goddesses of rock.
Ale you made Thomas, Spector, Muse, your Family, your Fans and most of all yourself PROUD. 🤘🤘👍👍 Thank you. Thank you.
Beauty and THE BASS
And now y’all are opening for them in Mexico!!
When i first watched this video a year ago i was blown away and I watched it again just a few minutes ago and it still blows me away
It’s been really great watching her grow up to be such a presence in the band
I see why you are Pau's favorite bass player. Keep rocking thunder queen.
Pau has said how annoyed she gets when, coming up with some original drum sets, she’ll get Alé to join in and Alé nails it so quickly! In her defence of Pau, she said she’d hear Pau practice and would create bass patterns in her head for the drum melodies before Pau even asked!
Wow!
Her alternate finger picking is spot on.
She made it look easy, Ale just Rocks😁🤘😎
Happy 17th Birthday Miss Ale!!!!
Ale has unlocked her superpower.
I believe she has multiple super powers
awsome preformance.
After years of following The Warning I don't recognize most of the names in the comments here. That's great news, congratulations on all the new fans girls. You deserve the best.
The new names are flooding in... The Snowball Effect!!!
Yep...I'm only about a year in, but proud and happy to have my name on that poster over Ale right shoulder. Long live The Warning!
I’ve been around since 2014-2015, she was about 9 when I first saw video of her playing this.
New guy here (less than a year) and I've seen so many new guys it's ridiculous. Face it, you long time fans can have them to yourselves no longer.😁
I've been a fan of The Warning for over a year now. I became so impressed with DPA that I had to become a patron earlier this year and I've also contributed to their last couple Kickstarter campaigns. I've enjoyed watching your videos of The Warning at The Whisky, especially the one where you included a bit of the opening acts. Thanks for that
She's a machine. Everything looks so easy. Insane talent.
@@Real_SkyRipper OK - waiting for your video in 2 months.
@@thomasmalatesta7331 instrumentation and chord progression is easy as long as you're on that point of level....maybe you don't play, that's why you say things like that
@@VANTARTS I'm not sure what " that point of level " means. She played this song flawlessly 5 years ago at the age of 10. Again, insane talent.

Yah she sure is a thundering Bass Queen now, she's really grown up a lot over the past 3 years.
My favorite Bass player of all.
She doesn't look like she is working hard because her technique is just that good.
Ale is a boss, great things await!
I love watching her play
beauty and the bass
El 18 de junio en Madrid!!

Nice to see a video high lighting musicianship. Craft. Skill. Talent. Hardworking. 👍
Amazing
beautiful and inspiring- well done!!!
She and her sisters just finished the last of 9 shows opening for Muse tonight.
Definitivamente tus hermanas tienen razón Ale, lo haces ver demasiado fácil, eres toda una crack
I love when people have spent so many hours doing things that they make them look easy, for a sec I was like I could totally do that
It's not hours mate its years of years of patience, practise, exercise and so on😅
you could easily do that bro
Very easy...kkkkkkkkk
Andreia Luízas it’s just pressing buttons. Just play it 200 times and you’re good. That’s just a few days if you practice a lot
@@mrpoopyluke i would love to learn play ...love guitar !!! But my favorite is piano ...omG! 😍😍😍🎸🎹
I felt in love right now
Ale, the machine. Otherworldly ⚡️
im a simple guy, i see Ale i press like

Oh, Ale has changed her picking style and uses the E-string as a thumb rest now, like she does with the five string. Don't underestimate, how hard it is to change old habits. It's much easier to learn something new that to "remove" old things from your brain and muscle memory. Two thumbs up. 🤘😁👍
My favorite bass line of all time. Its so unique, but as a non-bass player, I cannot articulate why. The bass effect(s) he uses makes it sound monstrous.
It... looks so easy. Ale so animated on stage. Behind the stage theatrics is musical ability you just don't see anymore.
smooth and effortless
excellent skill Ale
awesome bass line
you nailed it, Ale
Always impressed seeing people keep up with Chris's finger stamina
This is 👌
"Maybe I just sit down a bit and play some bass." 🔥 Ale doing what Ale does. Incredible! 🤘
Y ahora a punto de abrirle a MUSE! MUCHISIMAS FELICIDADES!
Man Ale....You are Just Born to it Lil One...Just Wow !!! ☺☺😎👊💯💖
I hope Ale knows how cool she is.
I would think so !!! Drums control timing ,
@@thomasfast392 I've heard that Ale's playing was measured in the group for accuracy and her rhythm and timing was even better than Pau's, and she's not afraid to call out Pau on her timing... and Pau has excellent time.... Also apparently Ale is the member who has "perfect pitch" in the group, and Pau said it's annoying LoL
I love how she is all business. So much talent. A Bass is not easy to play.
How can anybody not like this. The talent , the focus and she moves thru this piece of music like no big deal. I’m gonna tell ya. It’s a big deal ! Ale is a strong part of The Warning power trio. Always has been. Much appreciation for these girls and the fact they are saving Rock & Roll ! 🎸❤️
I'm currently learning this and you make it look so effortless, amazing!
Check out her band, her sisters are amazing too (:
Ale is just so lovely, and such a talent,as are her sisters. Keep on rocking, girls ! 💖
Love the bass tone with that Spector. Absolutely killer.
Aw Ale ... what to say ... we love your bass playing, your beauty and kindness ... We long for you to be back on stage again !
Hell yeah!!! Absolutely magnificent! You go girl!

I remember when your bass was just as big as you. You've grown a lot, in height and talent! Keep up the great work!
YESSS! It was their cover of Hysteria that led me to discovering them, long ago! We have come full circle 🤣 I'm still working my way up to being able to play this one...
It's awesome when a beautifully made instrument gets appreciated by a nice player. Congrats on being shared by the actual band!
2024... and still the best bass cover ever.
awesome Bassline and Bassist artist \m/
Doesn't matter how much time passes this bass is pure fire
I have been truly amazed at your talent on the bass Ale, ever since I saw you as a young 9 year old... it’s like you were born with bass in your heart and soul... it must be an amazing story on how, with you and your sisters, and with the unspoken guidance and encouragement of your incredible parents, you picked up and picked out the bass to be your own... and in so doing you filled an essential gap in the band ... your two sisters must have been over the moon when they first saw you try it out, and then.... like wow! how good you have become
such SIMPhony...
Really good stuff !!! Love the little grin at about 30 seconds ....
The way a bass cover should be done.. where we can HEAR THE BLOODY BASS. And also.. of course, Ale killed it. Cuz.. Ale?
You are truly amazing!
Awesome playing!!!!
Chris Wolstenholme famously said he can’t stand playing this because it’s bloody hard work. It’s known as _The Finger Crippler_ for good reason. And Ale makes it look easy. That’s years of practice for you. 🖤
Haha. I do like that it's executed smoothly, although i think the chorus notes should've been held to their full length for continuity. that's the nit picked difference.
It's just mind blowing how effortless you make that look! Fantastic job as always!! Happy Ale Day!!
