RCS not only has be activated via Apple but the carriers as well. It wouldn't surprise me if RCS isn't available until we get closer to a GM candidate.
I’ve downloaded it just now and I feel like it’s gotten worse in some areas like heat and battery life. My battery life has started to drop a lot faster than beta 1.
I have the toggle but it doesn’t change anything my texts to my android are still SMS… idk if there needs to be an update in the carrier settings or something, i am still investigating

Because of the delay on Apple Intelligence release date, it means more features to be added in the beta OS moving forward. UK needs to know that their software is all the way pervasive and that what Apple is doing is working with Google, Valve (Steam), Sony, Meta and Microsoft on software developments and AI native supports in other platforms. Apple was not going to make the same mistake as Google and Microsoft making ChatGPT their backend for AI and machine learning and so, they gave OpenAI Apple’s backend for free to support 3rd party and native supports in all mobile, console and computer platforms.
Hey nick. Could you do a battery life update on the beta as I’m on an iPhone 11 Pro Max with 87% bh, this phone is able to serve me at least 8hours of screen time and I want the beta experience but I’m too scared of my battery life being low
I have the iPhone 13 mini with 88% bh and while battery does drain fast with the beta it’s honestly not that noticeable. I’ve noticed that here and there sometimes the battery drains fast but I keep a portable charger with me 98% of the time so not that big of a deal. I’d say my main concern is that the battery is draining when I’m not using the phone faster than when I am which was concerned and confusing lol
@@saagameryt214 I hear ya on that, if you ever do update your phone to the beta I suggest to save everything to iCloud and google photos this way literally nothing can get lost lol
Sorry but i have to say. This video wasnt too much imformative… what you SHOULD BE DOING . Is having both those devices on exactly the same versions so we can see the differences on newer and older devices… on my iphone 13 i see no rcs messaging
Beta 2 is not full of new surprises. We have a few tweaks, including shareplay, iPhone screen mirroring to MacOS sequoia, RCS, and some other small changes as shown. Beta 1 review we already introduced the big changes, mail was not refreshed here, and there are no Apple intelligence features here just yet.

Stopwatch is now a live activity and works in dynamic island, everything feels smoother snappier on my 15 Pro

Its not working from what I've read.
When you go to test an RCS enabled phone like most pixels for example you would see it say RCS in the text area instead of “Text Message SMS”

No if your phone overheats alot it will damage your battery or if its overheating try doing 20-80% charging hope this helps

Beta 2 is a huge improvement for the iPhone 11 .. it was so horrible on beta 1 it felt like an android from 2010

Do not get the beta I have an 11 and tried using the beta, my phone crashes every 3-5 mins and resets making it completely unusable

Can you spend some time with Beta 2 and come back and make a video. It seems like you don’t even know what’s new and what’s not.
