According to Lea, this was the full length movie version she originally recorded but Disney decided to cut it short to fit into the movie storyline ( if that makes sense 😅). Thus the birth of the short movie version done by her and the full pop version done by Christina. The animated Mulan came out in 1998 (Lea was 27). This performance was in 2011 (Lea was 40, totally didn't look it!) at the D23 Expo where she was actually named a Disney Legend.
