    Just ordered a tan 5 card wallet after seeing your reviews and watching a couple others. Thought I would treat myself! Love all the videos Bradley!

      I also bought a little key fob thingy. Had a nice leather one from American Eagle and it broke on me, so looking forward to one that is better quality to give my keys some class.

    That is definitely what she said. Love the Micheal Scott quote. I enjoy your tobacco reviews and I have enjoyed your other "stuff" reviews just as much. Honestly you could probably review dog crap and it would be entertaining and have great production value. That is a sweet wallet though. It certainly isn't crap. You are now set for the rest of your life. Take care.

      Ha! Micheal Scott would probably have a seizure while watching this video - WAY too many quotes about "thickness" and "suppleness" and all that. Dog crap, hmm? I'll keep that in mind.
      Thanks for watching, man!

    I got the wallet and love it! At first I put the money on the side you do but then realized it goes in easier and deeper on the opposite side and when I had it on the other side that you have then the card pocket on the outside would make the card bend so the other side works great!

    • @stuffandthingsyoutube
      @stuffandthingsyoutube  9 лет назад

      ducktapelover15 - I discovered the same thing after having used it for a while. The other side (the side you picked) definitely does work better.I'm glad you like the wallet!

    Very cool! About as expensive as my Coach wallet, the non-folding kind with a money clip attached. Problem with my wallet is that I tend to keep more cards in it than it seems to be able to hold and get rips in the leather where card corners poke through the front. I do love the way leather ages and the patina changes with use. Was amused to see that you keep bandaids in your wallet! Never go anywhere unprepared!

      Nothing like fine leather! It's a little too soon to say how this will last in the long term (though there is a lifetime guarantee), but it seems like you could certainly shove more cards in if you needed them. Thanks for watching!

    Rather fine walletry, Bradley. Methinks I must make haste to acquire one such wallet from the fine folks at Popov. Since you've developed a bit of a leather fetish, Knives Ship Free's Mainstreet Slip (for traditional pocket knives) is made out of that rather charming and particularly supple leather (and they are inexpensive...roughly $19).

    Great review. I have been myself going through a tones of you tube reviews of the minimalistic wallets and I see that eiher you get the good ones from Saddleback or that you buy from etsy where entrepreneurs run local shops and make handcraft one.
    What i dont understand is why is it that these wallets do have have a cloth lining like the other commercial wallets, reason being, it would make card slipping in and pulling out much easier. Also, cloth lining wont add any weight or thickness to interfere with the concept of thin wallet.

    • @stuffandthingsyoutube
      @stuffandthingsyoutube  9 лет назад

      Gaurav Chauhan - I would assume it has to do with the durability of cloth versus leather. Thanks for watching!

    The tape on each card is adding a small amount of added thickness, but shouldn't be much. You keep the wallet in your front pocket?

    • @stuffandthingsyoutube
      @stuffandthingsyoutube  9 лет назад

      I do! I can't stand having a wallet in my back pocket. It fits in the front quite well (in spite of my tight pants).

    Hello! I am contemplating which wallet to buy... This one or the saddleback front pocket Id wallet. What one would you recommended given the fact you have had both? Thanks!

    • @stuffandthingsyoutube
      @stuffandthingsyoutube  9 лет назад

      bigjknee - They're both great. If you're more concerned with having a thin wallet, I'd choose the Saddleback. If that isn't so much of an issue, it's a tossup.

      +Gary Gavina - No plans for an update right now, but the wallet is still holding up great.

  • @ducktapelover15

    Another question is it difficult putting money in that one slot inside the wallet? Because that's where I'll put my money

    • @stuffandthingsyoutube
      @stuffandthingsyoutube  9 лет назад

      ducktapelover15 - It's tight at first, but the leather loosens up pretty quickly. I don't have any problem fitting quite a few bills in it now.

    That slim amount of US cash is worth about 7-million dollars in Canada right now, fuck. I've never considered carrying band-aids in my wallet but the more I think about it the better of an idea it becomes!

    • @stuffandthingsyoutube
      @stuffandthingsyoutube  9 лет назад +1

      I haven't checked the exchange rate lately. Is it THAT bad?
      Yep. Band-aids. I've rarely had to use one myself, but I can't tell you how many I've given out to other people.

      Stuff&Things One Canadian dollar is currently worth .80 cents US, down from .93 cents when I returned from Ukraine last summer. As a traveler and someone who buys almost everything from U.S. retailers, its dreadful right now. The only saving grace for me is that the Ukrainian currency is falling dramatically.

    • @stuffandthingsyoutube
      @stuffandthingsyoutube  9 лет назад

      Yikes. It wasn't too long ago that the Canadian dollar was on par. That must be why my town isn't filled with Canadian shoppers recently! Just noticed that the US Dollar is pretty good against the Euro right now too. Might be time to buy a pipe from Italy!

      +Who's Afraid of Erik Nørding? One Australian dollar is worth like 60 US cents, so don't complain! I buy most of my things from the US because they aren't available in Australia.

    If an injury can be treated by a bandaid, it doesn't require attention. They're rather useless items.
    Just my opinion thoough. Great vids.
