- I recently picked up an Olympus Trip 35 35mm film camera. I ran two rolls through it. What do you think? Would you grab one? Let me know your thoughts below!

Great video despite the gopro issues! 😊
I find it incredible a piece of tech designed in the 1960s continues to function flawlessly but something much more modern fails...😮
I've just picked up one of these cameras locally after a long search for one, so your video was very helpful and inspirational.
I've added your channel, hopefully you'll connect with another retro film photographer 📸 😊
Thank you so much! I’m glad my video could help you! I thought of selling mine, but i hung onto it. I’ve recently picked up a medium format tlr (rolleicord) to try out. I love fully mechanical cameras!
The go pro going out, I think that was some ghost energy taking it 🫢 great vid!
The ghost of cold winter 😂
Thank you!
Thanks for the video - and beautiful photos, especially from Port Stanley
thank you for watching!
I loved the video and as always your photos are nothing short of amazing!
Thank you so much!
It's not a bad camera for what it is except it's not a rangefinder, instead it has very crude zone focus system
When i call it a rangefinder I’m only talking about the viewfinder being off to the side. I understand it’s basically a point and shoot with some controls
Yeah, rangefinders are a different and existing technique in cameras for focusing.
I’d get a modern P&S
I don’t need a p&s as i have a few slrs that i use. This was just a fun test
I feel like the lens quality is better than modern P&S. Glass > plastic BUT the limitations are what is the cons in older cameras
I love my Olympus Trip 35.
Everyone should always first test the selenium light meter because they get old. In my camera I have to put the ISO to about 100-200 with 400 ISO film. I tested it with a light meter app in my phone with the red flag coming to the camera when the light is too low and shutter speed 1/40.
