Any OLED based display (Regular OLED, AMOLED, Super /Dynamic AMOLED) is better than Backlit LCD panel due to much higher amount of dimming zones (individual pixel level vs few hundred at best for LCD based screens )
Tip: 1.Keep music sound low so that we can hear you well
2. You should have done some tests on black colour
Movies mostly use black colour

Samsung’s phone usually oversaturates the colors while lcd or even oled on iphones have color calibration to produce colors more accurately.
So if seemed by any normal person then Samsung’s display looks more appealing but if looked by any tech guy then it is not so much color accurate or natural .
Although Samsung have reduced the saturation little bit which makes devices after galaxy s10 series more color accurate and beautiful.
Retina is best lcd you can get and is very much color accurate.

I wanted an smartphone or tablet with great video quality to watch videos, stream from xcloud and web browser... but on android side the benefit is plug hdd external, on galaxy S side is to also have an way to hook on an samsung Dex and have the "PC" version of it.
Could ipad do all this as well?
Because if yes, i can send back the s10 and grab an ipad with retina screen.
I mean can it do this without pay more for have an hdd/ssd pluged and acess movies,photos ? The dex is an bonus so i wouldn't expect it on apple side
See , iPads have more capabilities and freedom than iPhones. You can easily do all this stuff on ipad like cloud, video watching etc.
Although android is always 1 step ahead in terms of possibilities.
So you have to decide whether whicb platform or OS you want to use.
Talking about display, both apple and samsung gives good display quality in their products so don’t worry about that. But samsung tabs which are 15-20k in price don’t have that much color calibration , so keep that in mind

I get headache and burning feeling in my eyes when i look at amoled display for too long, so after long time using only amoled display, i finally purchased ipad mini 6 which has retina lcd, which is of really good quality.
Finally i got rid of headache, even after binge watching a whole series my head doesn’t hurt anymore.
I was a lcd hater and has been using only amoled display devices sinch 2014, but now i’ve started liking lcd.😊

I dont know why people choose Amoled. It is over saturated. Red and yellow almost burns your eyes. I mean we want natural colour to see. Samsung display is over satuated and not natural at all.
Super Amoled displays can be adjusted to Natural Mode for natural colors

Let me explain, sAMOLED obviously better, it gives punchy colors, more bright. But on Other hand, if you use Apple's IPS Panel, its more natural, also beautiful and overall nice display.
What i believe is, if you compare IPS Panel of Apple with other brands IPS panel display, Apple Wins.
Although Retina display is basically about more than 300 pixel per inch, still I think there is much more when which apple hides something in real life so no other can compete or it may be their only technology no other brand know.😅

Its like 3 times cheaper than a iPhone since you only pay for what you get and not for having a phone that happens to be from an expensive brand called apple.
PRO TIP - please either don't use that "not required" background sound or make it to 2% to 5% of total sound. It's very very disturbing. Can't hear what you are saying. + don't move your phone's a lot.

Manufracters usually set it to look oversaturated by default, you can change it back tho

This guy might not have switched color profile for both phones and if he did, I believe he wouldn't set different color profile on purpose (saturated for amoled, standard for this Retina IPS) because it'd be unfair. The fact is, even saturate profiles are "blueish" in LCD and it is exactly THIS what I look for. For my eyes and experience (yes, I did had OLED devices) any chosen color profile didn't decreased the oversaturated aspect inhrent to the OLED technology itself. The redish tint like was never gone how low I set the color space. When rooted, I had to install apk like Color Changer Pro to "minimize" it, or increase blue subpixel to overcome the reddish aspect, but this subpixel is the one which fades faster. In today's LCD (with kind of yellowish backlight in devices like Poco X3 NFC/Pro), if I need to see some saturated content, I can. To turn it back is easier, but OLED... This is not a bad thing for those who appreciate vivid content, but it is for me and some others that choose LCD over OLED displays... For my eyes, natural colors is somewhat "blueish", and just LCD can display it.

For me the color of samsung is more natural n more saturated as compare to that iPhone. In iPhone there is more light in video. This is what i think but I don't no what about other
In room, iphone is more bright as we can adjust to get it to get 625 nits and s20+ is limited to just around 400 nits. Samsung shows a little boosted colors it depends on personal preference.

Amoled is no doubt better than lcd display, but if you don’t compare them side by side then lcd display is just fine and moreover now iphone xr and iphone 11 are coming with lcd display only in premium segment. Xr costs 38000 and iphone 11 for 47000.
