Nice to hear your appreciation for the indigenous peoples history and lands. The purple was a beautiful choice and really highlights the colours of the desert. I saw January first but could see laundry once you mentioned it lol. Really enjoy all the effort and love you put into your spreads. I am currently tracking 16 habits… I know it’s a lot … but wanting to fill them in really motivates me to complete the habits frequently. Hello! I am from the US, and I thought you might be interested to know of the phenomena "purple rain" where the light hits rain falling in the plains / desert just right and it looks like this pretty purple color while falling. That's what these spreads remind me of!

I love your illustration style. It’s nice to see them go from gray lead to pen to coloured in. Have you ever considered making colouring books? I think your illustrations be relaxing to colour in. 🌵 🏜
🌵 To be honest with the "January issue", your flourishes on the J just interfere with the a, because they are in between those two letters, so that the space between the J downwards stroke and the a simply becomes too big. I do not think that it really looks like "Laundry", but the big gap could be what might trick your eye into thinking there would be a wider letter like L.
I think the purple is a great choice! It's neutral and light enough to work for the sky, and many times desert skies at night are purple in art. I really like the style you chose here for all the drawings, definitely see it as being your own I tend to stick with 4 main habits, and if there's a month I just want to be "aware" of when I do other things, if there are patterns, then I will add them to my core 4 🌵

They’re called Sámi, and traditionally live in northern Norway, northern Sweden, northern Finland and some in Russia. Their land is called Sápmi. I wouldn’t really call them a tribe, but an indigenous people, with hundreds of different languages and groups☺️ Nowadays, there is a Sámi parliament in Norway, and lots of fun music festivals happening around the year, celebrating Sámi culture. We’ve had a couple of Sámi participants in the Eurovision Song Contest as well, which I think is so important! And I actually really like joik a lot🙈💕

Typically, I’d expect a J to have a more open-looking left side, like the script font on your video thumbnail.
