Be careful with the kala namak. I dropped the bag of it, and some of it got into the floor vent. Our house smelled like eggs for weeks, even after I scrubbed everything!
What an intriguing idea. Would never have thought to use mushrooms. I've made delicious deviled potatoes, which, I mean, who wouldn't want those? But this is deffo something to try. TFP : )
FYI Claussen brand pickles don't dye their damn pickle juice and it's alot more flavorful in my opinion, so I'd use that juice in my recipe. It won't discolor the mushrooms then
Great video and it gave me a flash of inspiration about color. For color I just imagined that using the juice or brine from pickled red beets could be awesome. I have some pickled beets right now. Put some tumeric powder in the chickpea filling and the two colors together could be really pretty. Topped with the green of fresh dill. OK that's it I have to go out and buy mushrooms now. Thanks for posting this.
This came just in time! I have mushrooms and was at a loss for something new. I was never a fan of eggs but loved and miss deviled eggs. Can't wait to try. Happy 2021
These look great!!! Lucas and I are going to make them tomorrow for his after school snack. We will soak our mushrooms tonight. Lucas looks forward to how you end your show these days...be nice to each other. He thinks that wonderful!! And he never ever leaves the house unless he must and he always wears a mask!
@Delightful Delicious Delovely & Video Vegan I will have to try this. I have been looking for more vegan appetizer recipes that are not a pasta. The best one to date i found was a "faux" gras pate. Hope you are doing well. All my best to you.
I've been vegan for nearly 2 years, your recipes are awesome.
