Ever since was young really connected w GG about struggle with identity during troubled household times. Very glad see them later in the show being accepted and finding themselves 🖤🫀 they are a great comfort character and ty to the cast for be accepting of those who are trans, non-binary, gender-fluid.

this might not be the appropriate place for this comment, but i wanted to tell you that i just finished reading “Bathing & the Single Girl” and it’s the one and only thing that has made me laugh, smile and feel less like a “loser” in years. when i was ten, i was madly in love with JP and kind of hated you. you had him AND chucky, my two crushes! but, after suffering the last few decades from addiction and depression, i found reading your book incredibly healing. i wanted to say “thank you” and that i pray there is a sequel, because i didn’t want it to end. now clean for many years (but still in the throes of major depression), i am off to try to reinvent myself. thanks for the hope, and #longlivedevonevans!
PS) my long-suffering fiancé (blessedly neither a celebrity nor a ginger; i’ve matured lol) asked me who had *finally* managed to cheer me up. when i told him “oh that actress of whom i made a voodoo doll when i was a kid. turns out she really is awesome and freaking hilarious! what, with the c batteries and the valance and Booby and that self-righteous prick, teen Jesus, (may he rot in the fiery depths of hell) et al. also, i may never view a candle the same way again.” used to my inanity, he simply nodded and accepted my statement as if it made all the sense in the world, lol. he thanks you for cracking me up all along the way. 😂
