    Good tips. I have been working on my arpoch for the last 2 months. And made a huge improvement. The way I figured this tip out was when the ball is all the way at the back of my swing I wate till I feal the ball go weightless then I push off and try slide forward with the ball to the foul line. 2 months ago my ball speed was 13.5 on avg. And 14.3 max with rev rate around 300. Now I'm upto 16.8 avg speed with a 360ish rev rate. And the swing take much less effort then it used to. I would have never gotten there with out this channel!

    Excellent instructions. I am recovering from a strained A/C joint in my right shoulder. I definitely don’t want to muscle the ball as I start bowling again…and I will continue to work the Over/Under. Today I used the Over/Under and noticed that I had an increase of 1 1/2 mph ball speed without hardly any effort.

    "Our speed comes from our legs, our hip, and the opposite arm engaging the hip into the swing" Interesting. I haven't paid much attention to the opposite arm.

    What if he can't get his arm any farther in the backswing? Any tips for people with limited mobility or are we just screwed?

    • @TheVlad1616
      @TheVlad1616 Год назад +1

      Even with a shorter backswing, you can let the ball fall freely. His whole point was to generate speed with legs/hips versus with your arms. If you have a shorter/lower backswing, you need to have faster feet to keep up.
      Tommy Jones can’t have Norm Duke’s footwork, and vice versa as the timing would be all off.

      I used to be frustrated with only having a short backswing. But someone taught me the proper pushaway and good timing, and a bit of opening the shoulder, and i myself was surprised by the high backswing I easily generated. I think everyone can do it.

    This drill has helped me so much, especially with my balance and timing.
    Question...I really started to work on working the inside part of the ball and my axis tilt went up, is that normal?

    Loose fingers in the ball and wait for the ball at the top of the swing.. if your timing is off you will compensate

    Looked like he's muscling it because his timing is way off with how he pushes the ball away. If he started pushing the ball away sooner he wouldn't have to cut his backswing short and muscle the ball to catch up.
