The human brain and its ability to regrow damaged neural pathways is ridiculously incredible. Respect to this woman and her trainer
It is not regrowing them. It is rewiring itself using undamaged systems. This is what is referred to as "neuroplasticity," and that is what is on display with this incredible therapist/trainer and this warrior of a woman.
Definitely rewiring, not regrowing. We ain't there yet.

Glorious work from all concerned. I'm helping my wife rehabilitate after her stroke 2 years ago - I know how frustrated she can become trying to do what seem like simple movements, but which aren't, at least not to her. Praise and respect to all.
I pray for her healing and for the two of you to experience prosperity, abundance, protection, growth, and safety forever more. You're a good man, she's a strong woman. That makes a great team.
Yeah having a stroke is a very hard thing to recover from.
July 31st will be one year for me from my major stroke and almost lost the entire left side of my brain!
Then a minor.stroke.a.month later... Then a pulmonary embolism in my right lung.
The recovery is very difficult on all who.are.around you.
I'm just glad I can walk and talk still... But my memory is toast. Shorter term is about gone ...sat from a year prior till now is just not really there. I forget all the time.
Can't remember why I went into the bathroom some times.
But I'm very stubborn and I believed I could pull out of it easilly!!! Nope.
Neurologist told me my brain is still dieing and not sure how much I will end up losing.. But shit happens... Just today I had to close my business up because I haven't been able to work.since then. And now I will end up living off disability.
I withheld a year before applying but.Can't do it any more.
This bring a lot of tears.
Bless both of them.
So many people would have given up on life at this point.

A recent stroke survivor here as well (mine occured on the evening of Mon. Feb.12, 2024. It affected my right peripheral vision in both eyes but mainly my right dominant eye and has also affected my balance somewhat as well. My stroke was caused by atrial fribulation that created a blood clot in one of the upper heart chambers, which caused my stroke. Seeing her do her stroke physio brought tears to my eyes, seeing her succeed and reminding me what I went through and still going through. Many prayers going out to her, her medical staff and her physio trainer. Keep pushing hard, even if it's hard on the bad days. It slowly pays back in the recovery.
Whenever you don't feel like working out, remember that it is a privilege to work out. You get to work out and you should consider yourself lucky that you can. Not everyone is that fortunate.
Some light in this world is really worth celebrating. Amazing and inspirational. You are both incredible❤

Dang thats impressive. My grandpa also has damaged nerves and he can barely walk up and down the hallway with a walker without feeling out of breath and tired. Imagine not being able to feel the ground when you are trying to walk. It would be so scary
