Most lesson's I've learned making props stemmed from excitement and impatience LOL But there is nothing like the satisfaction from re-doing a prop and knowing how much a difference it made. Congrats on the armorer gig brother!

It’s really a minuscule difference and you can’t even tell it on video, but in person it looks like a prop, not a real blaster, and I can do better.
I know what you mean about impatience…I’ve literally painted in the dark because I was so eager. 🤣🤣🤷‍♂️

@@DarthRageReviews Went to Home Depot and bought some PVC pipe and attachments to make a cheap lightsaber 😄 a can of glossy white paint to spray the blade ( cover the writing on it). Just under $25 lol. Practice spinning it outside.

Hi Rage, you know with all this sanding you should have made the upper arm plates of your armour adjustable...your biceps aren't gonna fit in them soon! You've done a better job with this blaster than I could have done.

I got room to grow into the armor, but there is seriously so much sanding in this hobby. 🤣🤣🤣🥺

Yes, but a wood blaster costs 4X as much 🥺

That clear just takes all the energy out of the room doesn’t it lol start wondering why are you doing this to yourself. It looks great though! I’m working on a project right now and it’s the first time I ever Bondo’d the entire thing, feels like I’ve wasted the last year and a half doing it other ways. What’s the other Bondo product you used? Does it fill gaps better than the spot putty?

Sometimes the mistakes lead to a better product, sometimes they just kiss you off. That other product is Proffessional High Bond Filler, glazing spot putty is good for smaller lines and seams, this fills holes and gaps

You have more printing experience then me. I just purchased this from Galactic Armory, I don’t have a 3D printer. I can answer all your questions about the finishing process though.

@@DarthRageReviews thanks! I got inspired by both of you to do my own 501 clone, but its a long way since I learn how to print everything 😅 Need to rewatch your videos many times!
