yeah spring clean is great. until you realise later you threw away that one item that you really wanted to keep even tho it's broken and you can't do anything with it but DAMNIT I WANT MY OLD IPOD BACK
OML. I STILL have my Bokia (tm) brick phone too! I can donate all the clothes, BUT you never know when your gonna need all of those old cables whose purpose is forgotten...
Argh, I know how this feels! Aside from buying things that I ultimately don't need, I can't get myself to throw away a lot of things because of how it could one day come in handy or because of its sentimental value. But wow, Tank, that was great! As always, wonderfully scripted and illustrated! And I loved the theme! Great tips, too!
I have a whole drawer dedicated to random cables and junk. The only time that stuff came in handy, is when my friend's xbox 360 power brick died. I happened to have saved my power brick from my old xbox. Should really get rid of some of that, huh? Brain: NO! What if you NEED the stuff? Random cables that you have no idea what they go to, are USEFUL! Sure brain. Sure.
For your cable box, you can do this to organize the box 1. Get a bunch of finished toilet paper rolls 2. Untangle the chords 3. Wrap a chord around a toilet paper roll 4. Done! Just do that a bunch of times, each chord has it's own toilet paper roll, and put it away. Also, you can decorate the toilet paper rolls...
I still have a vhs player and Collection of weird VHS tape‘s so I still have lots of things I don’t need but start donate lot stuff to a thrift store so
In case you want to learn quick maths again! I can relate to all of this :D I had to move my room to get rid of junk, my biggest prooblem is spiders get into stuff that aren't sealed :(
OMG, I'm awful at throwing old things away. My system: 1. Statue of Limitations - if it's not broken beyond repair AND you've had it for over 10 years (5 if you made/wrote it yourself), it's too late; you're keeping it 2. Antique Rule - If it was ever in the possession of someone who's since died, keep it; but if it caused the person's death, well maybe 3. Foreign/Faraway Acquisitions - if you brought it yourself from another country or non-ajoining state, keep it 4. Use or Upcycle - if you use it or can possibly maybe reuse it for a different purpose, keep it 5. Nothing Expired - ANYTHING that's expired must be thrown; other rules don't apply 6. Digital File - never trash a digital file unless it contains something sensitive/incriminating
Hah, yeah, last time I moved, I had just bought an iPad, and after moving it took a good 5 months until I found it again. XD And the cable box! SO IMPORTANT! I needed an old printer USB cable recently, and discovered that I DIDN'T HAVE ONE! I checked a local store, and it was freakin' $30! I would have paid $5. Heck, even $8 for the convenience. Ended up doing an Amazon order for it for $5. I let my cable box run low on that cable, and it hurt. Time to hit up more yard sales! One of the easiest ways I've found to get rid of stuff that I feel shouldn't just be thrown out, is to stick it in a box at the curb, label the box "FREE," do a quick Craigslist post, and let nature take it's course. It all goes. Every time. Off my hands, now someone else's junk.
Always when I clean my room, I find old and forgotten stuff, so my mum says: Mom: "If you don't remember you had it, you don't need it". Me:"BUT MOM!! I DONT WANT TO THROW MY PLUSHIES AWAY!!! THEY ARE TOO CUTE TO BE ABANDONED!" Yeah.... I have trouble of collecting plushies and other cute stuff. If I look around my room I can see about 23 plushies. And there's more in my closets... And in the attic. I probably have about 40-50 plushies, teddy bears and other that kind of stuff😂😂😂😂 And my parents are SO MAD! Yeah... I have a problem
#relatable Yes, i kept most of my college text books. Not just because, "I might need it one day." But also because I paid a small fortune for these books, but to sell them back, I might have gotten back enough to pay for lunch. (If I didn't super size it.) So not worth it; I'll keep them.
Hey Tank Bank I've started making Storytime Animations, I've got one already if you want to come and see. I'm using a simple animation style that looks funny.

I still have a vhs player and Collection of weird VHS tape‘s so I still have lots of things I don’t need but start donate lot stuff to a thrift store so

Good point, lets throw away all my belongings

EEKKK spiders! I know that feeling haha

I have a divider with lots of stuff I don't even use XD great video tho!
Hi tank I really like your channel and I think you're a very underated RUclipsr you deserve like 400k subs not 8k!
I still haven't come to terms that I might be a hoarder yet >.>
but i'm the exact same way except.. I don't spring clean
Join usssssss
Omg. I know what you mean by having alot of cables.
I have a BIGGER hoarding problem
I hate hoarding 100storeg my stoge50 everything dropped
Hoarding is no fun :(
I know man I know
Corona comes in

I know that feeling haha!
You should probably sell some items or give some to charity, if you don’t want to throw it away
Yup that is the plan, too bad my brain says I should hold onto it, JUSTT in case I need it!
#relatable

I bought a lot of books for my course, and after a year they lost about 80% of their value, a rip off if you ask me!
Sorta early, I was eating dinner
This video speaks to me on a deep level xD
I usually end up doing this for memories and stuff...
Good point!
I don’t suffer from this problem. Rule of thumb. Every 6 months go through the closet and out with the stuff that has not been worked in 6 months!
Good plan, if only I had the patience to do this every six months!
I think A&E Network or Lifetime T.V. network s would like to talk to you, just kidding nice vid
haha! Thanks :P
Been there buddy, I use to hoarder the boxes where my toys came in, and uh.... happy birthday 🎂
Thank you! :3, my Birthday was August so the fan art was a little late haha
it drives me nuts having clutter I try to toss out stuff I feel like I don't need when I get to clean throughly
I always second guess myself when I throw something away, I MAY need it in the future!
yeah, i'm also one of those "JUST IN CASE" people lol.
JJJUUUUUUSSSSSST IN CASE
I have a large box of VHS within arms reach of me right now.
*gasp* so much treasure!
i can relate to that a lot.
Love the video dude
That one room filled with junk, I call it “the hoarder room!”
Yup, pretty much!
Whoever disliked this will burn in my furnace
Yupyupyup
I do the same don't worry.
Hoarding is my passion.
Same doe!
