This piece has special significance for me. When I was a child of 5 or 6 years, my favourite uncle used to play an old shellac recording of this. It was this piece that sparked my love of classical music. As I approach the end of my eighth decade, "Karfreitagzauber" transports me back to those wonderful days.
PS: I still have that shellac recording of the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra conducted by Eugen Jochum, recorded in 1957.

An welcher Stelle in Wagners Parsifal kommt diese Musik? Es wird immer nur "Akt 3" geschrieben, aber nie, wo genau. Sonst höre ich mir halt nochmal komplett den dritten Akt an...
