This video lists the points one needs to consider before joining as a dental associate. Young Dentists or Dental Interns usually join a dental clinic without putting any thought into it. The success or failure of careers at times depends on the first job.

@@Madhukapehlamauka Hi pandemic is a sudden situation. the point of about success and failure is based on working in a dental clinic. many join a dental clinic they don't enjoy and then think dentistry is bad.
i can understand your situation is difficult. a lot of us have lost our incomes because of this pandemic. i am sure ones things settle you will be able to find a job again. you will again get back on your feet and do well. wish you luck :).

I think as a young dentist, exposure is more imp than salary then later, vice versa

sir idk if we will ever get a whole six point package ever. i started working at clove as a part time camp doctor which was useless only diagnosing and converting patients. Later i got avery good offer at manipal unit but senior doctor is never there. i have to manage the entire show and its only a part of their general body checkup. very less cases. i gave neet now waiting for results idk why this happens

Reason is during start of career if you focus and join jobs only on basis of salary it is tough to grow. Why would someone pay more if there are others who can do that job.
So, in the start join a good clinic where you can grow and improve your skills quickly.
Once you know clinical dentistry you have the option of both working under someone for better pay or starting your own practice.
