      Ma'am just one question: does full time fees meaning for the total course like if the fees is £40k full time fees and the course is of two years then £40k will be for both of these years or £40k per year?

    • @bridgebuildersacademy
      @bridgebuildersacademy  3 года назад

      You will have to check with the admission office of that particular college, but most probably the full time fees means the cost for the total course.

    It is mentioned on the GDC website that you need a dual degree in bds as well as am md to be able to practice as a maxillofacial surgeon in the uk. However, there are several MClint courses that only have BDS as a requirement. Can we work as a maxillofacial surgeon in the UK after these courses?

    is it likely i can get into dentistry with these? considering everything else is good.
    these are my GCSE results:

    english literature- 7
    history- 8
    combined science- 7-7
    maths- 6
    arabic- 5
    creative i- media- L2D (grade 8)
    sports- L2D (grade 8)
    (i feel like a B in maths (6) may deny me a space but the requirements are 6 and 7)

    Hi. Can you please tell me if a dental speciality training for 3 years in Europe, Romania will be recognized in the UK? I don't know if I should be doing a dental specialist training in my country and after that coming to the UK or not doing one at all and come as a general dentist. How much does it matter in the UK to be a dental specialist from another country? Thank you!

    • @bridgebuildersacademy
      @bridgebuildersacademy  2 года назад +1

      The licensing exam is based on your undergraduate degree. So if you have completed dentistry outside the UK (if the institution is not recognised), you will still have to clear ORE despite being a specialist. You can check the recognised list of dental schools on the GDC website.

    I had a small query
    Dr.Rosh mentioned
    That after completing exams : ORE & PLVE
    We can go and practice as a general dentistry
    But he is a specialist
    Is there a way where overseas dentist can do speciality practice
    If so

    Plz do let me know

      Yes, eventually you can work as a specialist. There is no separate route or examination to practice the specialty. You can try connecting with Dr. Roshith and ask for more details.

    If we’re applying for the post graduate masters course, is it easy to get a job near the concerned college to work part time? Or should we move to live near the outskirts for better prospects ?

    • @bridgebuildersacademy
      @bridgebuildersacademy  3 года назад +1

      Getting a job while pursuing course would be difficult because:
      1. The curriculum is quite heavy and you won't be able to spare time.
      2. If you are an overseas dentist, then unless one gets registered with GDC as a dentist, you can't practice dentistry in the UK.
      Hope this helps!

    Hii .. very informative video .. i was thinking of opting a master's degree (eg . Endodontics) at the same time preparing for ORE examination. Is this possible? And after getting the license will i practice as an endodontist there? If yes will i be restricted to this field or i can practice general dentistry too. Thankss

    • @bridgebuildersacademy
      @bridgebuildersacademy  2 года назад +1

      Anyone who has the training and confidence to perform various Endodontic treatments can perform that. However, you won't be able to work as a specialist just by doing a Masters's course (MSc)
      But if you do a MClin Dent or specialist registrar in Endodontics then you can register with GDC as a specialist and work as one. The pathway is not easy but doable.
