Reminds me of the time I stopped the ritual up at Mehrunes' place to get his dagger, only to fight a dragon next, and then I found myself scaling down the mountain until I found myself on the side of a valley in the Reach. Across the way was a multi-leveled Forsworn camp on an opposite hillside (I think it's the one where you gotta fight two Hagravens and a Briarheart for some quest), I sniped them all from across the valley, and not one of them found me or figured it out. It took a lot of patience, though.
