Dappletail's kits should've been fathered by Stormtail because it was made abundantly clear they were close and one of the kits is literally blue-gray like Stormtail anyway.

In the seventh arc, they talked about Antfur at some point, and I was confused because it didn't fit what I remembered. I later learned that Antpelt is someone else.

Runningwind’s only noticeable trait of being thought of as a bad mentor then being contradicted as he took over for other cats over and over again always bothered me a bit, but the idea that he actually caught wind of Bluestar’s opinion and decided to prove her wrong is quite intriguing…too bad he still doesn’t do much of anything or have much of any consistency before he dies and drops off the face of the earth.
If I remember correctly Secrets of the Clans said that Runningwind was Bluestar's apprentice? I know this was never shown in the books themselves, but I totally believed it since Bluestar dropped an entire character assessment of Runningwind at the drop of a hat so she must have known him pretty well. It's too bad it was never shown, especially since she would have gotten him as an apprentice like right after she gave away her kits. It would have been interesting having her navigate her grief while having another young cat the same age as her kits relying on her so much.
Yeah that’s what I thought as well. I figured since she mentored him she would know how he would be as a mentor but the thought of him catching wind of her thoughts of him mentoring and him being helpful with apprentices out of spite makes me laugh.

To be honest, I can see why Runningwind might be comfortable with Fireheart, a cat who immediately proved himself from day one, vs Cloudkit, who needed to be taken care of because he couldn't take care of himself (it could've also stirred some painful feelings over his lost kit Featherkit, if we really want to think about it) Still problematic ofc, but with slightly more context.
Tallstar, I think it would be an interesting topic given he’s one of the only obviously gay characters we have with out write saying he was and also how he saw Firestar as a son in a way since he’s Jakes kit

Runningwind is one of my favorite minor characters, for some reason his personality and appearance are very clear in my head. I also really liked his relationship with Fireheart, when he died, Fireheart said to himself he would avenge Runningwind and that always made me think they were closer than it appeared on page.
Well they must have been, Runningwind hang out quite a lot with Fireheart, Graystripe and Sandstorm throughout Fire and Ice, Forest of Secrets, and Rising Storm
Some details I’d like to add since I’ve been rereading the series recently!! I think Runningwind’s attitude towards cloudpaw before his death was less bc of him being an outsider but more because cloudpaw was a well-known nuisance at the time. This was during the era of cloudpaw being very difficult to work with and fairly stubborn and rude. He has these personality traits until his kidnapping incident. Heck at the time even FIREHEART was sick of him. In addition, runningwind makes an appearance in the last book of omen of the stars as a starclan cat fighting for the clans. Firestar is VERY happy to see him (which I think is sweet) and mentions how fast a runner he was in life.
What if he hates CloudKit because it reminds him of his lost daughter who, assuming she lived to 3 moons, he had to suffer through the pain of her disappearance.
Hopefully one day we get the Runningwind super edition we all deserved, of his and mousefur's adventures through temporal spacetime. Although maybe a supe redition is too short for dear, precious, runningwind who has so much depth and intrigue, perhaps arc 9 could be about him.
I doubt it, I don't think Erins would want to bother explaining why there were only 6 cats born/survived to apprenticeship (Darkstripe, Longtail, Dustpaw, Ravenpaw, Sandpaw, Graypaw) between Bluestar becoming deputy and Into the Wild (which would be about 3 years, and they would kinda need to cover that happening offscreen... plus they would also need to reveal who was Graypaw's father and who were the parents of Sandstorm (no, it wasn't Redtail and Brindleface, that was "decanonized" sometime ago apparently)
Maybe Sparkpelt? In avos she was a “perfect” apprentice, always doing things Alderpaw couldn’t. She still seemed fairly supportive of her brother, even though she went against the idea of SkyClan joining the cats at the lake. In Squirrelflight’s hope she’s mates with Larksong and has his kits but he dies horribly along with Flickerkit which makes her depressed and she doesn’t take care of Flamekit or Finchkit. Personally I think she’s pretty interesting, and I’d love to see you talk about her!
Could you talk about Daisy? She's one of my favorite characters. I feel like she was always one of the most 'disliked' characters but since the fandom is in large part older now and hasn't quite the same hatred for anything 'girly'/ 'traditionally' feminine I'd like to see your opinion on her and the role she and others (yes like ferncloud) filled. Also i just think it's really funny that her only kit to give her grandkids was freaking Berrynose and with neither of his children having mates I'm low key scared they're just gonna let her entire bloodline die out for a whole a** jake descendent Clan...
I'm hoping Mousewhisker will get a mate in the next arc; actually with the whole thing about the warrior code changing, I remembered that in The Sight he had a crush on Minnowtail (then apprentice like him) from RiverClan, I would LOVE if that came back^^ Also Molewhisker and Cherryfall, too, at least one of them should have kits with somebody. Wasn't there something hinted between Cherryfall and Stormcloud once?

This feels like a stretch, but… is it possible that Runningwind is part of the random WindClan bloodline brought into ThunderClan through Squirrelwhisker and her son Windflight? It would explain his name, his apparent speed, and possibly his hesitancy to bring in an outsider, knowing full well that his own blood wasn’t pure. Idk. It could be interesting.
Irk! She started out as a kitty pet like firestar and she is raggedstars half sister and seems to have a close partnership with Blackstar and would have made a stern but reasonable leader similar to black star. Not super aggressive and whiney but they also stand their ground.

She was one of the prophecy cats in the second arc and went out on the journey to the Sun-drown-place. She died bravely trying to save the Tribe and her friends. She deserves more attention!
I never really cared for her (she just came across as generically nice) until I read her manga recently, it made me really understand why she took to Crowpaw even with his prickly personality. Plus I personally read it as PTSD representation. People focus so much on her death when I feel like she's so much more than that.
Tbh I personally was never that interested in her idk she seems a bit too generic and too plain to really be that interesting but that's just my opinion and she can be quite interesting sometimes. And any love I had for her cooled when in the last book of TBC she was shown to be crueller and less forgiving as well as being jealous of Crowfeather spending time with Leafpool when she encouraged Leafpool to get with Crowfeather. Anyone else think that all the Starclan cats are more annoying, cruel and less forgiving when they die???
Ah my boy Runningwind! I love this guy, I do agree cannon wise he doesn't have much of a personality, but I do remember liking his and Fireheart's short-lived friendship. I think alot of what I like about him is mostly headcannon, such as RunningRed! I headcannon him to be fast, , like you said, but also a little prideful and rash, like he doesn't really "look before you leap" he just goes. I agree the DappleRunning kits are weird, and I think it was just "we need a random background tom for this litter" and they happened to choose him.
Tawnypelt, I think you might get something from her. The child of Tigerstar who was better at being the "I'm not going to be like you" then Bramblestar considering after she meets her father in the dark forest and he's like "Wana be evil with me" she like "uh no, your horrible and I'm leaving"

Runningwind is one of my favorite characters, personally. I really think the Erin's could have done more with him. To see him grow from a stubborn kit to a rash but loyal warrior would be really intriguing. Even if he was truly against Cloudkit, I still think it would be really interesting! But he was killed off. Rising Storm implied that Runningwind and Whitethroat were close. (Whitethroat grieves over Runningwind's death, shortly before his own death.) I think that should have been represented more. To have a Runningwind perspective from the Hunter team would be really nice. Happy late birthday, by the way!
Yeah, Runningwind has a lot of lost potential. I wish he had stayed alive! I always liked him, and I think they could have further fleshed him out into a good character. He could have matured as he got older, or been a respected senior warrior.
@@fireworksforme2 If they replaced Runningwind with Mousefur, I would've been fine with that. Mousefur didn't have much coming for her. (I love her a lot as a character, but Runningwind had a lot more potential than she did!) If it weren't for Runningwind, Firestar would probably be a much softer cat, as he didn't have many older cats to actually look up to that were stern but not evil, besides Longtail and Bluestar. (Which both had their own flaws.) Runningwind was much more simply a code-follower extremely loyal to his Clan. I think seeing ThunderClan evolve with him around rather than Mousefur, or, Hell, even making him leader. would be extremely fun to see. I just hope he gets a spotlight in the future: if it weren't for Runningwind, ThunderClan would've been so much different. After all, Runningwind was also Bluestar's apprentice. She has only mentored a few cats, so being the apprentice of a leader is very special: many background characters who were apprentices to leaders got some sort of special spotlight at some point. (ex. Whiteclaw, Gorsepaw, Sleekwhisker, Lionheart, etc.) Runningwind deserves that spotlight, too! And, sure, Whiteclaw, Gorsepaw, and Lionheart were all killed, and Sleekwhisker ran away and became evil. But Runningwind should have gotten more plot. That's all I'm asking for from the Erins. More plot for him. Or perhaps from Whitestorm or Brackenfur, too, that'd be nice! Basically, anyone from Arc 1 should get more relevance besides 'I'm a spooky dead ghost, I haunt peoples dreams' of which only turn out to be Bluestar, Lionheart, Spottedleaf, and Yellowfang.
I know this isn`t a character, but the official Warriors website announced their game on Roblox(Warrior Cats: Ultimate Edition) It'd be interesting to see you talk about it. The game is very diverse with its playerbase. (Noncats for an example, they're allowed and even able to join clans! It makes the roleplay itself interesting and unique) It's also high in quality and has lots of features. It would also be really cool to see a review on it from you, since you've done the plushies and figures.

It`s also been confirmed by the game`s developers, etc. WCUE doesn`t limit what you can roleplay as. When people do refuse to do their duties, a Clan roleplay can die out, yeah. But, there are people who DO do Warrior duties! I`ve noticed that Queens go to the Medicine Den, practically every server now. A Clan can be organized, even with non-cats in it. I`ve met a variety of non-cat players(and am one myself), most of their OCs do Warrior duties and have interesting backstories. Voiding is always an option if you don`t want to roleplay with them(Don`t harass, that can get you reported to a game moderator). Even if that species doesn`t speak cat in the canon, it can in game. (WC:UE isn`t the books!) For example, Midnight spoke cat, Millie spoke dog, and some dogs spoke cat!
@@flowerpoots Ah! I suggest joining the WC:UE discord if you`re over 13, they have rp events there that act as more organized than an unplotted public server. The events always have interesting plots and the admins who host them are really nice.

What if after death he had a redemption arc? Idk, Hawkfrost’s “what if”s are pretty cool

I would love to hear you talk about Rowanclaw. He went from a pretty feisty (she)cat to a leader that let everyone walk all over him. I know his leadership has been heavily discussed but I want to see more of a focus on the change in his character up to the point/brief talk about it. Also him and Tawnypelt don’t appear to have much chemistry and yet were together. Also his granddaughter getting his name is . . . interesting.
To be fair, we got only about one scene of him and Tawnypelt before they became mates (which, really, I hope there will be a Special Edition about ShadowClan settling beside the lake and it would cover how they became mates because of how quick he was in that scene to accuse her of being a traitor, and then about 8 moons later they have kits together xD I mean, I can buy it, but I would love to see this love story), and since then they seemed to have good chemistry. He supported her decision to go to the Tribe, she stood by him when the Clan turned on him, and his spirit comforted her in her novella.

Heck at the time even FIREHEART was sick of him. In addition, runningwind makes an appearance in the last book of omen of the stars as a starclan cat fighting for the clans. Firestar is VERY happy to see him (which I think is sweet) and mentions how fast a runner he was in life.

What if he hates CloudKit because it reminds him of his lost daughter who, assuming she lived to 3 moons, he had to suffer through the pain of her disappearance.
Hopefully one day we get the Runningwind super edition we all deserved, of his and mousefur's adventures through temporal spacetime. Although maybe a supe redition is too short for dear, precious, runningwind who has so much depth and intrigue, perhaps arc 9 could be about him.

I doubt it, I don't think Erins would want to bother explaining why there were only 6 cats born/survived to apprenticeship (Darkstripe, Longtail, Dustpaw, Ravenpaw, Sandpaw, Graypaw) between Bluestar becoming deputy and Into the Wild (which would be about 3 years, and they would kinda need to cover that happening offscreen... plus they would also need to reveal who was Graypaw's father and who were the parents of Sandstorm (no, it wasn't Redtail and Brindleface, that was "decanonized" sometime ago apparently)
Maybe Sparkpelt? In avos she was a “perfect” apprentice, always doing things Alderpaw couldn’t. She still seemed fairly supportive of her brother, even though she went against the idea of SkyClan joining the cats at the lake. In Squirrelflight’s hope she’s mates with Larksong and has his kits but he dies horribly along with Flickerkit which makes her depressed and she doesn’t take care of Flamekit or Finchkit. Personally I think she’s pretty interesting, and I’d love to see you talk about her!

Could you talk about Daisy? She's one of my favorite characters. I feel like she was always one of the most 'disliked' characters but since the fandom is in large part older now and hasn't quite the same hatred for anything 'girly'/ 'traditionally' feminine I'd like to see your opinion on her and the role she and others (yes like ferncloud) filled. I'm hoping Mousewhisker will get a mate in the next arc; actually with the whole thing about the warrior code changing, I remembered that in The Sight he had a crush on Minnowtail (then apprentice like him) from RiverClan, I would LOVE if that came back^^
Also Molewhisker and Cherryfall, too, at least one of them should have kits with somebody. Wasn't there something hinted between Cherryfall and Stormcloud once?

This feels like a stretch, but… is it possible that Runningwind is part of the random WindClan bloodline brought into ThunderClan through Squirrelwhisker and her son Windflight? It would explain his name, his apparent speed, and possibly his hesitancy to bring in an outsider, knowing full well that his own blood wasn’t pure. Idk. It could be interesting.

Irk! She started out as a kitty pet like firestar and she is raggedstars half sister and seems to have a close partnership with Blackstar and would have made a stern but reasonable leader similar to black star. Not super aggressive and whiney but they also stand their ground.

She was one of the prophecy cats in the second arc and went out on the journey to the Sun-drown-place. She died bravely trying to save the Tribe and her friends. She deserves more attention!

I never really cared for her (she just came across as generically nice) until I read her manga recently, it made me really understand why she took to Crowpaw even with his prickly personality. Plus I personally read it as PTSD representation. People focus so much on her death when I feel like she's so much more than that.

Tbh I personally was never that interested in her idk she seems a bit too generic and too plain to really be that interesting but that's just my opinion and she can be quite interesting sometimes. And any love I had for her cooled when in the last book of TBC she was shown to be crueller and less forgiving as well as being jealous of Crowfeather spending time with Leafpool when she encouraged Leafpool to get with Crowfeather. Anyone else think that all the Starclan cats are more annoying, cruel and less forgiving when they die???
Ah my boy Runningwind! I love this guy, I do agree cannon wise he doesn't have much of a personality, but I do remember liking his and Fireheart's short-lived friendship. I think alot of what I like about him is mostly headcannon, such as RunningRed! I headcannon him to be fast, , like you said, but also a little prideful and rash, like he doesn't really "look before you leap" he just goes. I agree the DappleRunning kits are weird, and I think it was just "we need a random background tom for this litter" and they happened to choose him.
Tawnypelt, I think you might get something from her. The child of Tigerstar who was better at being the "I'm not going to be like you" then Bramblestar considering after she meets her father in the dark forest and he's like "Wana be evil with me" she like "uh no, your horrible and I'm leaving"

Runningwind is one of my favorite characters, personally. I really think the Erin's could have done more with him. To see him grow from a stubborn kit to a rash but loyal warrior would be really intriguing. Even if he was truly against Cloudkit, I still think it would be really interesting! But he was killed off.
Rising Storm implied that Runningwind and Whitethroat were close. (Whitethroat grieves over Runningwind's death, shortly before his own death.) I think that should have been represented more. To have a Runningwind perspective from the Hunter team would be really nice.

Yeah, Runningwind has a lot of lost potential. I wish he had stayed alive! I always liked him, and I think they could have further fleshed him out into a good character. He could have matured as he got older, or been a respected senior warrior.
@@fireworksforme2 If they replaced Runningwind with Mousefur, I would've been fine with that. Mousefur didn't have much coming for her. (I love her a lot as a character, but Runningwind had a lot more potential than she did!) If it weren't for Runningwind, Firestar would probably be a much softer cat, as he didn't have many older cats to actually look up to that were stern but not evil, besides Longtail and Bluestar. (Which both had their own flaws.) Runningwind was much more simply a code-follower extremely loyal to his Clan. I think seeing ThunderClan evolve with him around rather than Mousefur, or, Hell, even making him leader. would be extremely fun to see. I just hope he gets a spotlight in the future: if it weren't for Runningwind, ThunderClan would've been so much different. After all, Runningwind was also Bluestar's apprentice. She has only mentored a few cats, so being the apprentice of a leader is very special: many background characters who were apprentices to leaders got some sort of special spotlight at some point. (ex. Whiteclaw, Gorsepaw, Sleekwhisker, Lionheart, etc.) Runningwind deserves that spotlight, too! And, sure, Whiteclaw, Gorsepaw, and Lionheart were all killed, and Sleekwhisker ran away and became evil. But Runningwind should have gotten more plot. That's all I'm asking for from the Erins. More plot for him. Or perhaps from Whitestorm or Brackenfur, too, that'd be nice! Basically, anyone from Arc 1 should get more relevance besides 'I'm a spooky dead ghost, I haunt peoples dreams' of which only turn out to be Bluestar, Lionheart, Spottedleaf, and Yellowfang.

It'd be interesting to see you talk about it. The game is very diverse with its playerbase. (Noncats for an example, they're allowed and even able to join clans! It makes the roleplay itself interesting and unique) It's also high in quality and has lots of features.

WCUE doesn`t limit what you can roleplay as. When people do refuse to do their duties, a Clan roleplay can die out, yeah. But, there are people who DO do Warrior duties! I`ve noticed that Queens go to the Medicine Den, practically every server now.
A Clan can be organized, even with non-cats in it. I`ve met a variety of non-cat players(and am one myself), most of their OCs do Warrior duties and have interesting backstories. Voiding is always an option if you don`t want to roleplay with them(Don`t harass, that can get you reported to a game moderator). Even if that species doesn`t speak cat in the canon, it can in game. (WC:UE isn`t the books!) For example, Midnight spoke cat, Millie spoke dog, and some dogs spoke cat!
@@flowerpoots Ah! I suggest joining the WC:UE discord if you`re over 13, they have rp events there that act as more organized than an unplotted public server. The events always have interesting plots and the admins who host them are really nice.

What if after death he had a redemption arc? Idk, Hawkfrost’s “what if”s are pretty cool

I would love to hear you talk about Rowanclaw. He went from a pretty feisty (she)cat to a leader that let everyone walk all over him. I know his leadership has been heavily discussed but I want to see more of a focus on the change in his character up to the point/brief talk about it. Also him and Tawnypelt don’t appear to have much chemistry and yet were together. Also his granddaughter getting his name is . . . interesting.
To be fair, we got only about one scene of him and Tawnypelt before they became mates (which, really, I hope there will be a Special Edition about ShadowClan settling beside the lake and it would cover how they became mates because of how quick he was in that scene to accuse her of being a traitor, and then about 8 moons later they have kits together xD I mean, I can buy it, but I would love to see this love story), and since then they seemed to have good chemistry. He supported her decision to go to the Tribe, she stood by him when the Clan turned on him, and his spirit comforted her in her novella.
