Definitely agree with the Gap of Dunloe as my number one. Especially, if one follows the jaunting cart ride with boat rides on the three lakes. Makes for a lovely day. Did you happen to see any of the Travelers referred to as 'Tinkers' on your journeys? It was interesting when we happened upon a group while walking one day.
You've mentioned returning to Ireland several times, but also going other places sooner. Do you have a tentative timeframe for returning to Ireland? What a lovely adventure!
Been many times, including last year, not yet been to Derrynane House though. The Gap used to be only a track on my first visit as a youngster. Few years back they surfaced it and made it more accessable for vehicles, though must have cost the Jaunting car drivers a lot in lost trade. Sneem is a must visit. Heading to Connemara on holiday end of week but booking Killarney and the peninsulas for August. Road from Kenmare to Killarney completes the ring and its a road i love to drive, few years ago we appeared on it on Google street view! Also appeared outside Dundalk and when in Rome near the Vatican. Must been at most photogenic that year 😂😂😂
Thanks for your thoughts - Derrynane House worth it if you like your history but make sure you watch the video before walking around - even if you don’t go to the house there are a couple of beaches that would be great in good weather
We saw that from a distance I must say when we had a nights parkup that didn’t go to well but headed back to Killarney - sounds like an area to be visited
I can believe that - we made it hard on ourself as top10 it would of been easier …. Also I guarantee if we go back in a different season others as you say will emerge

No not seen them I think the community that run the pony and trap rides may be linked

Kerry, the list is too long to complete. I go at least once a year and always find something new
