I just subbed, this is only the second video I've just watched, I love how you are so laid back but at the same time doing great shit to your trucks. I'm an over 40 year truck mechanic in Ontario Canada, so 40 years into it makes me 60 now. Keep up the simple ways to making your trucks look great.
Hey Chad, THANK YOU for being so consistent with content and always keeping us entertained...it means a lot and doesn't go unnoticed...you rock brother.
I been watching your shows for several years now and really enjoy them and I think Frankenstein is looking great you have done a good job with him keep up the good work Whooooo
What’s up Chad, Frank is looking fantastic, can’t wait to see him complete and hauling loads. Keep taking your time and make him what you want before you put him back on the road. Stay safe out there my friend and keep the videos coming, catch you on the next one.
I bought my K100 Aerodyne new in 1980 and ordered it with a 3408TTA 3.70s rears, 13 Fuller, and a 200 inch frame. Ran it for 15 years, put 1.5 million on it then parked it. Two years ago I got a 250 inch W900 frame and put the K100 cab on it because I do not like cutting a frame to stretch it. I got a Signature 600 from a wrecked IHOP Eagle and built it and fixed all the issues the early Signatures had. I got a new 18 speed tranny and kept the 3.70 gears and now its putting 768 hp and 2575 torque to the ground and rides like a Cadillac. I get 7 - 8 mpg cruising 70 mph @ 1300 rpm hauling 45,000 lbs of produce (75,000+ going across the scales). It can easily hit triple digits before I'm out of gears and puts all these new trucks to shame. Yea I have a whole lot invested in it but I don't have to deal with the regen BS and it gets noticed everywhere I go. I painted it PPG De'Ja Blue and had Bruce Yodanis do the honors and its a money maker now.
@@1ChadKeegan the best part about engines that make big power is you can run them at lower rpms to get economy. My 18 liter Cat only spin 1800 and cruise at 1300. The Cummins spins 2100 for about 100 less hp and 300 less torque so the mileage is better because the engine isnt working as hard.
Chad - if you're worried about runs try giving the paint a good 1 second spray before you start. I do spray paint art in my free time, and that 1 second sprits can clear up any clogs out of the nozzle, that's what normally causes running.
Frank getting more competent by the day. I'm really looking forward to hearing him working. I guess he won't sound quite like Steve's Orwell as Frank has a later 3406B but he will sound great.
U can take that middle section of the filter housing apart and just clean it up and tap in a small freeze plug in that hole. U can get assorted ones from NAPA. Mine done the same exact thing.. FYI
