  • Getting accurate, life-saving alerts gives you the time you need to seek shelter in weather emergencies.
It's important to have multiple, redundant ways or receiving those alerts. With Midland's WR400, you can set your location to receive those alerts pertinent to your county as soon as the National Weather Service issues them.
The WR400 is Midland's most advanced NOAA Weather Radio.
In this video, Midland Radio Meteorologist, Bruce Jones walks you through the steps of programming this radio.

Will you guys please make a WR400 where you can adjust the siren volume just like you can on the WR300?

the power input on the back seems to be a regular micro-USB input. What is this device exactly drawing in mA through this USB-connector? There are complains that this device goes through 4 X AA batteries very quickly and I am considering to use a Makita battery (with USB-adapter) instead and power it through the regular USB-input in emergency situations!

@@captainchris2016 Not a problem with my device actually. I figured it out. Sound is on left channel only. So I didn't hear anything because I had headphone in right-ear only.
