@Woodwardswatercolours I work in a sports shop and we sell fancy trainer brands etc, but we also sell HiTec footwear, and it's just such unpretentious, honest-to-goodness, decent value gear. I think Daler Rowney are a bit like that.
I have used just common watercolor pencils for years for cards for friends. I never had any complaints and really liked the results for small projects. I just thought that I was happy because I didn’t know any better since I have no professional training. Makes me wonder if I shouldn’t get them back out and use them in my sketch book. They really are easy to use especially with a water brush. Thanks for your video.
I discovered your channel yesterday! Subbed before the video was done 👍I had no idea that's how watercolour pencils could be used. I'm looking forward to exploring g your fab channel. Thankyou 🙏
Nice pencils! I have Faber Castell pencils. I bought those about 35 years ago. They are still in good shape. Buf, if I needed to buy pencils I would consider these pencils. The pigment looks vibrant. Thank you for the review.
Please do more watercolour pencils. You have a lovely and unique style🇨🇦
Thank you! Will do!
So the moral to the story is: Use what you have! Great experiment and nice picture.
That is SO true
Love it......still following.....Aussie grannie ❤
I like watercolor pencils, sometimes I mix student pencils and professionals pencils for fun and got good drawings 😅😊
What a lovely painting! Great results from a bargain pencil. I’ve been enjoying all your watercolor pencil videos and am inspired to get mine out now.
These greens look surprisingly nice and natural!! Good old Daler Rowney.

Ikea do great, cheap, kids' pencils. Add water to them and they transform in to amazing water colour pencils.
Will your son get his pencils back 😉?
Ha ha he gave them to me
I have discovered something ... save your pencil shavings and add water... makes extra paint. Waste not want not as my late Dad use to say 😊
Aha!!!
Trash art supplies like a challenge for a painter.
Ok, thank you
