- Explosive periodic song of Acadian Flycatcher (Empidonax virescens) and beautiful wingstretch. Note how the lighting changes the color appearance of the bird. In early spring the song is usually delivered in intervals of about 20 seconds from a low perch. The scenes are from May 18 (before the wide shot of the marsh) and May 28 and I believe show the same bird. The last shot of the wood marsh with Hooded Merganser (female) in the background is from April 13.

Welcome to BIRDING VISIONS - portraits and sound recordings of birds and their habitats, sharing the sublime beauty of nature. These wildlife videos are both documentary and impressions of an experience. I hope you get a sense of being there: from the Rock Wren of remote Willis Creek Slot Canyon, Utah, singing Whinchat in the coastal heathland of Norway, a band of Arabian Babblers in the desert sands of Israel, to soaring Kites over Kyoto, Japan.
The playlists are organized by geographical region and topic (singing birds, shorebirds, etc). The 200+ videos are from many different places across the globe, with a focus on birds of North America and the Western Palearctic, including Europe, Israel and Morocco. This is a non-monetized no-ads channel. Contact clive.bramham@gmail.com for licensing of footage and other enquiries. Enjoy! Животные
Thanks for beautiful birds friend ❤❤👍
Thanks for that. All pleasure :-)
Beautiful capture, I loved hearing him sing.
Very beautiful birds and sounds! I enjoyed!
A bird of the forest shadows, the Acadian Flycatcher often goes unnoticed. A tiny creature, with a sharp song that carrys far in the understory. Tnis flycathcer can catch insects in flight with the help of specialized feathers at the base of the bill, the rictal bristles.
Veldig bra Clive
Takk, Rolf. Håper å se deg snart på Herdla. Har ikke vært det så mye i vinter.
Hello! Thanks for your videos! Sometimes you want to photograph a bird sitting on a tall tree. Some people advise buying a used camera with a removable lens and buying a lens with a large optical zoom, while others say that you can save money and buy an adapter for binoculars or a monocular for your smartphone. What do you advise?
With practice, it is certainly possible to get excellent shots by digiscoping, for instance using a cell phone. This can work fine for photography and short videos. For stable, longer shots of a bird perched on a treetop, say 50 meters away, you are better off with a video camera with a large sensor and optical zoom (15-25x), or corresponding telephoto lens with a 1.5 converter to increase reach. Hope this helps.
@@CliveBramham thank you!
do you know the bird in western PA region that sings like: "whip-WHIPPER whip-whip-whip-whip"? the whips at the end seem to come in 3s, 4s or 5s.
From your description it sounds like a cardinal.
