This is such a beautiful bracelet! However, there's no indication how many inches to set aside before the macrame braiding begins and ends also how many beads of each size were used?? I can guess my counting from what I can see but prefer to be accurate.
Hi Lisa, Thank you. For the sample, we used 17 8/0 beads and 36 11/0 beads for a 6 inch wrist. If you have a larger wrist you will need more beads. We like to leave at least 3 inches before starting the macrame and then cut it to length depending on how much slack you need to get the bracelet over your hand. The sample has a tail of approximately 2.5 inches. Let me know if you have any other questions!
Tangles'n Knots thank you for your reply. I guess I'm learning the hard way not knowing much about the different chords and which is better. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful bracelet.
Hi.. Sorry.. we didn't know that you could leave messages on RUclips :). Have you seen our video on ? Preparing Chinese Knot Cord for Threading Beads?" That should help and we find that MIYUKI 11/0 seed beads work the best! You can also replace the 11/0 seed beads with 8/0 and the 8/0 seed beads with 6/0 to make the same bracelet with larger beads!
Any tutorials on the other bracelets you’re wearing?
superbe
Votre travail est magnifique bravos

I have burned the ends of the0.5 mm cord and find it impossible to thread the 11/0 seed beads. Should I be using a particular brand of beads?
