@@jamesprada1200 B string goes up 1/2 step to a C, then up another 1/2 step to a C#, then up another 1/2 step to reach a D (1 1/2 steps) or 3 semitones same thing, if the string snaps it probably needed replacing anyway, get a decent tuner or tuner app on your phone there are lots of free ones that are good.

FANTASTIC tutorial. I believe this is the original transcription from the original song on the album and not the Citty of Angels sound track. The tuning and voicings are most accurate as opposed to the standard tuning version for the City of Angels sound track sheet music. Great work! This is amazing. I also saw your cover video. Btw, great video man! You've really figured this terrific ballad out. Your arrangement even compensates for the lack of the violins (which sound so powerful in the original)! I think it cannot be improved upon, except for maybe some fingerstyle in the intro =)
You have to make sure that you turn it down and not "up". So the string for now is E. You start turning slowly and make sure you're going down. And not going up. Normally to the sound you can hear if you go down or up. So you start turning down until you get B which is not far from E. So you should get it fast, you don't have to turn for hours. If you have an incorporated tuner in the guitar (electro guitars have this normally) then it will be easier. If not use a chromatic tuner. From the E down to the B you should be able to get it without breaking the string. I also broke it the first time but that was because I went "up" instead of "down". Hope this helps. Good luck! 🍀

I can’t get B I have broken a thousand. How can you get B without broke it?
