im trying to use sdpc as a b+ rank but people keep sending singular lines of garbage and i have ~.9 pps, how should i counter/cancel the garbage? and how should i counter common openers e.g. dt cannon
if you're A rank or lower I think you should mostly be focusing on stacking faster, t spins and higher apm but that's just my opinion, you can play however you want. If you're using openers that rely on all clears you kinda just need to stack fast and all clear before you receive too much garbage, not much else you can do.
Sdpc is too rng for b+ especially with under 1 pps the most effective strategy in that rank range is to practice stacking cleanly and freestyling tspins, you should be able to get out of b and a rank pretty quickly if you can start going over 1 pps in midgame
@@iexistandidothings1341 I mean this probably applies to you too and to anyone that didn't reach 24ktr yet openers will significantly slow down your progression at midgame until high U (because that's when people get very good at countering openers and you need a solid midgame to win)
@@ecchou3217 I'm aware that I shouldn't be using openers too much and should rather be focusing on midgame but I don't really plan on playing tetris too competitively. StickSpin deals more damage with an extra TSD and TST, while SDPC completes the PC much earlier and capable of looping with DPC for more PCs
stickspin is loopable too

The number of times you rotate that first T piece determines how toxic you like your gameplay

Don't focus on doing the pc when doing sdpc in vs. It has lots of stacking and counterspike potential not just perfect clears.
