Interesting; never seen a "split tip". I've used a few screw retainers through the years. Great review, as usual. Thanks. Really enjoying this series on lesser-known brands. Keep'm coming!
Wow, I am super surprised. Just two weeks ago, I saw a Craftsman version of this screwdriver, with the typical acetate handle. I hesitated a while and I didn’t pick it up because I thought it was a gimmicky tool. Maybe that’s a mistake?
Hello again, Catus Maximus and Tiny Thank you for another Great Video 👍 Once again thank you for introducing me to another Great tool. If the clip holds a screw that well then it shouldn't drop either. Question for you Catus. Has anyone tested screwdrivers with this attachment? Again thank you 👌

Nice screwdriver. I did not know that the split tip screwdriver would not remove a screw. Thanks Catus
It's a common misconception!

When I look up that patent number, it appears that Bridgeport is the original filer and holder of it, not Pratt & Reed.
