🥺 THANK you for this! I am petrified of heights and assumed that this road would lead THROUGH the mountains not around so this makes me all the more comforted about migrating there!
Great video! My wife, son, and I are blessed to get to drive this trip (just to Moose Pass) about 50 times a year in the summer and winter. Beautiful drive! Good job on your video.
Awe thank you. Means a lot coming from a local. That is one pretty drive I wouldn't mind doing on a regular basis! Moose Pass is beautiful. We spent a week at Tenderfoot Creek Campground in August and loved the area and the locals.
Ughhhh watching this as it is currently winter in Alaska, can’t wait for the summer so I can plan my trip from Wasilla to Seward. Millers landing is my all time favorite campsite and I can’t wait to go back.
It’s amazing, almost a straight shot with no turns once you get out of anchorage, just a beautiful drive can’t wait for summer so I can plan my trip there.
Beautiful video!! I am from California and I have always thought about moving to Alaska (Seward especially, which is why i clicked on your video!). I am a junior in college in Cincinnati, Ohio, and once I graduate I hope to get a job with the Alaskan SeaLife Center in Seward. :) And if not that, at the Alaska Zoo in Anchorage. I am a history major and I currently work at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden :) Thanks for the wonderful content!!
Thanks for watching Joannie. We will keep them coming. We have been in poor cell signal the last 2 weeks hence why we have been quite of late. It took literally 12 hours to upload this video today. I will be working on our next one and hope to get it up in a day or two.
Are there any cliffs or drop offs along this road? I have driven Anchorage to Soldotna, so I really only need info on the trip from the Sterling highway cut off to Seward. Alot of us people who have some kind of fear of heights use these videos to help us prepare for these kinds of trips.
I did the drive from Anchorage to Seward with stops at Girdwood Alyeska, Whittier, Portage Glacier, and Seward in October 2000. The last 15 miles before Seward was being cut from the forest, no asphalt, no paving. Beautiful area, beautiful state.
Thanks Sheila! We had a great week hanging out with Ben and Rebecca and not once did we formally pick up the camera and vlog... we were enjoying our time together too much!
Beautiful open land. Wish I was there with ya to enjoy it as a enjoyment trip. I was also wondering what is your average fuel mileage on the trip? Is your coach gasoline or diesel? Thanks for the videos for sure!
We have a diesel and we average 7.5 to 8 mpg in the Disco pulling the truck & 4-wheeler. Overall we have only spent $1833 in fuel, traveling over 3700 miles. Not too bad considering the distance we have driven. Thanks for coming along with us... we enjoy your company.
Watching this video I couldn't help but look at the Hwy and think about all the men and hours and years it took to create our national interstate hwy systems and roads ect....North America is a beautiful land mass and our countrymen who industrialized the transportation system are highly reverend.....at least in my mind....also the auto industry and manufacturers of Auto mobile's and RVs.....anyways just a thought....Alaska is pretty cool..
We visited Homer one afternoon when we stayed in Ninlchik however we didn’t pick up the camera that day. We hope to explore it more next year when we return.

Right! We can’t wait to get camping again.
Amazing and beautiful ! I love how the road to Seward seems calm and peacful, just like the city itself. Greetings from Brazil ! :D

Your right about the Cook Inlet . Don’t go out on the flats when the tide is out .When ever goes in the Cook Inlet never comes out.
Great video & cute couple. SafeTravels always🙅🏿♂️

Nope. Easy drive all the way to Seward.

I heard people saying that we can park to sleep any where, is it true?
We ran into Ben and Rebecca at Tangle Lakes BLM back in Aug of 2016..
One day Lord... One day :)
Nice! Did you decide to skip the towns of Kenai and Homer?
We visited Homer one afternoon when we stayed in Ninlchik however we didn’t pick up the camera that day. We hope to explore it more next year when we return.
I thought that was Macho Man randy savage driving.
