A detail I hadn't noticed about this visual until after playing through the actual game: On Sonic's side, even though everything is shot at a wide angle, it's all still structurally consistent. On Shadow's side, the buildings are actively warping.
It’s also a nice reflection of Sonic and Shadow’s differing mindsets in regards to the situation their in. For Sonic, this is a refreshing and exciting trip down memory lane. For Shadow, this is his past returning to haunt him.
Well in sa2,Sonic has to hurry but like.HURRY because if he doesn't,they're doomed he has to put the fake emrald in place NOW,not 5 minutes after,not even 2 minutes..He has to go for it right away or else say goodbye to humanity.

I freakin LOVE that we got a new remix of this track. It really shows the difference back then and now, where you can get more of the soundscape around you and it REALLY sounds like you are hearing an echo of space around it where everything lingers longer out into the distance feeling.
Hell yeah, like, as the act goes on, the sky transitions from space to blue sky, and you need to reach the control room before it can impact the planet. That'd be awesome.
@@ChiefMedicPururu I'm pretty sure that Cosmic Fall is only the ARK falling apart due to structural damage from the Black Arms invasion, no? I don't think it directly involves the ARK itself falling from orbit like in SA2.
I played generations back in 2011 and man the Shadow version improved on everything. These songs are the jam. The levles are grand and these bangers unify it into a damn good experience.

Also, its a shame Jun Senoues talent is being wasted by crappy executives forcing him to do the same damn overdone Sonic Adventure remixes with EDM artists who dont even know what Sonic music sounds like, how does rave music fit a dark serious moment? Ok but 1:25 is straight up amazing. It feels so urgent, like if you don't move NOW something terrible will happen, it really fits Final Rush.
