  • Hi everyone! Bit of a different video for you all today and it's been one we've been wanting to do for a while. In this video I'll take you through what films I've watched in the month of September 2021! We always log our movies on Letterboxd so it's easier to track. Matt and I watch a lot of movies together but we also watch ones on our own of course, so you should see quite a mix of different stuff depending on who is doing the video! I hope you enjoy it, let me know if you have any feedback for the video 😊 Let us know what you've been watching too! Thanks again 😊

Thank you for your feedback, Sam! I know I'm hella late to reply to this but I appreciate it. And yes it was, he always has to type like he's an extra in the movie Hackers lol. Thanks for watching!

Malignant was SO fun and I was drunk during my first viewing which made it even better. Loved every minute! Definitely buying that one when it releases :) It’s Brandon by the way! 😎

I didn't think of how much better the experience of watching Malignant would be if you were drunk, that's amazing haha. I hope it gets a good release worthy of the film's quality. Thanks for watching Brandon, we really appreciate it :)

Excellent watches Sarah! I just finished all of the Nightmare films for the first time and had such a good time with them. Keep up the great content, my friends!

Thanks a lot Nathan 😊 Glad you enjoyed the Nightmare films as well, it’s the perfect franchise to start off the spooky season with. Thanks for watching and commenting!

I agree on Them. I saw it years ago and found it kinda boring. I really liked Becky alot and I wasn't expecting it to be so gory. Texas Chainsaw Massacre is amazing. I hate TCM 2. Night on Elm St is a classic. The Road is really good. TCM: The Beginning is awesome. I will have to look into Dark Place, I've never heard of it before. Since you're on an Aboriginal horror binge, I recommend Kadaicha. It's an 80's horror movie about residents in a housing development area discover the area was a sacred Aboriginal graveyard and they are cursed when they see the Kadaicha stone.

Thank you Andrew, I thought I was the only one who found Them very underwhelming. The gore in Becky was pretty amazing, I'll give it that. Glad you agree with me about the major horror franchises, I think TCM 2 started off a lot stronger than it finished. Darkplace is free to watch on ABC iview which is really cool, and it's funny you should mention Kadaicha, I want to watch it and I saw that Severin has included it in a folk horror boxset along with a few other indie Australian folk horrors which is awesome. Thanks so much for commenting, we hope you're going well, it's really good to hear from you :)

@@amateurfilmies8844 I'm doing well. Oh really?. I'll have to look into that boxset. Another a few movie's I thought of with Aboriginal storylines are Cargo (Have you seen that?, I can't remember.), Dark Age and it's not horror, but it's a great movie and that's High Ground. I'm not sure if you've heard of Nitram, but I saw it yesterday and it was fantastic. It's from the same Director who did Snowtown. It's about the Port Arthur Massacre.

Now that was a big month lol, so many films, i watched Kate myself on Netflix and really enjoyed it, i enjoyed Becky a bit more than you but wanted it to be a bit more violent, thanks Sarah.

I know hey, I was impressed with my own commitment to movie watching lol. I wish Becky was a little more brutal too but it was pretty disappointing. Thanks for watching, I appreciate it!
