The sudden switch to Steve fan on Davion's part is SO relatable. I was anti Steve originally in season 1, but he's now one of my top 3 favorite characters. It's a journey all ST fans must take with Steve Harrington.
Well, that's probably because it was the journey the Stranger Things writers had with Steve Harrington, or Joe Keery more specifically. They liked him so much, they decided against their original plan to kill him in the first few seasons and made him a main character.

I honestly love s2 as a whole because of how well Noah Schnapp played Will. A sizable amount of people in 2016 thought his absence in s1 even as the main plot point or character was the creator’s way of lessening Noah’s role because of his acting abilities or supposed lack there of. So when everyone saw s2 they were completely and utterly shocked, I was happy people were able to see Noah skills!

This entire season Will is tortured, possessed, depressed, and the actor that plays him (Noah Schnapp) portrays that all on the screen amazingly. But that kid is definitely going to need counseling and therapy for the rest of his life because of all the trauma he has endured being abused by his father when he was young then kidnapped now all of this.
Steve really pulled through. Again. But man, Noah's acting is off the charts for this season. Like, I felt bad for Will in S1. But I felt awful for him in this season. He's been tormented pretty much this whole season. Luckily, he's had Mike and Joyce by his side the whole time. But they must feel awful, having to watch him be in agony like that.

honestly, I had never considered Nancy getting with Jonathan as her cheating on steve before because, after their last conversation where Nancy couldn't tell him she love him back, I just assumed that was kind of it for their relationship.
Nathan is legit a mood, bruh haha Also the song when Lucas and Max were talking on the bus is literally titled “On the Bus”, which is such a calming song that is really relaxing to listen to. It will play again in a future episode and I really hope you catch the parallel at that pivotal moment. Great reaction you guys! Can’t wait for you guys to react to the next 3 episodes. The last two of this season are some of the best episodes of the entire show!

When I first saw this season I immediately considered Steve and Nancy broken up after their fight. I just knew it was a device for her to be with Jonathan. I never thought she'd cheated on him, that was just my take
I’d say that was pretty obviously a break up. There are thousands of on-screen breakups and you’ll rarely see them use the words “I’m breaking up with you” because it’s usually pretty apparent and you don’t need to spell it out like that for films/shows.

They never broke up, there are plenty of old series/movies where one of the people in a relationship couldn’t say “I love you” back; either due to not being ready to say it or not knowing what love was yet. That doesn’t mean they’re broken up, they had a fight Steve left a heated situation which is what a lot of people do to avoid saying or doing something fueled by anger. We are told or shown when people are together in ST. That’s how we knew Steve and Nancy were in a relationship in season 1. Even in Teen Wolf they eventually stated Stiles and Malia broke up.

Steve didn’t apologize for “not being in the wrong” he was wrong in multiple ways. Yes his thought about Nancy possibly cheating on him was understandable but the way he responded by participating in Nancy’s humiliation and unnecessarily insulting Johnathan and his family was what he did wrong.

steve and nancy weren’t together. she tried to fix things with him and he straight up got mad and walked away from her. that’s why he brought her flowers was as a way to “win her back” and make up for it. not all couples on screen have to say the words “we’re done” just like most of them don’t have to say the words “we’re together”

@@JustUs that’s what i took from it and i don’t think i’ve ever heard someone in the fandom call it cheating. i mean many think she did steve wrong by moving on so fast but i’ve never heard anyone call it cheating. she wouldn’t say i love you back and he called her bullshit then walked away. that felt like a breakup to me but i could see why people would think it wasn’t.
He got mad at her initially bc basically she told him that she didn’t love him and then when he asked her again when she was sober she couldn’t say it him being hurt or mad seemed pretty justifiable to me. And then he still tried to go apologise for it (was unsure on what he was apologising for tbh)
They never broke up, there are plenty of old series/movies where one of the people in a relationship couldn’t say “I love you” back; either due to not being ready to say it or not knowing what love was yet. That doesn’t mean they’re broken up, they had a fight Steve left a heated situation which is what a lot of people do to avoid saying or doing something fueled by anger.
We are told or shown when people are together in ST. That’s how we knew Steve and Nancy were in a relationship in season 1. Even in Teen Wolf they eventually stated Stiles and Malia broke up.

For the glow part there is also the "period glow", apparently when on their period women have shiny eyes and their skin glows. I remember that a couple of years ago one of my female classmate told me "you're so beautiful today, are you on your period? You're glowing" and I was like wtf? I've spent the night with cramps but okay, but I started to notice that glow too in other women

Steve didn’t apologize for “not being in the wrong” he was wrong in multiple ways. Yes his thought about Nancy possibly cheating on him was understandable but the way he responded by participating in Nancy’s humiliation and unnecessarily insulting Johnathan and his family was what he did wrong.

And tho that was in season 1 it’s still relevant it’s not like we should completely forget about it just because it’s the next season. And over time Steve has grown to be a more enjoyable character throughout the series and his character development.
