I very much disagree that maliss is stronger than ryzeal. It’s weakness to lancea means there’s too much variance against the deck, detonator just solos the entire deck unless they open very well, the deck can also just die to 1 or 2 handtraps if timed correctly. to compare this to the Spright and tear situation isn’t exactly fair because tear was literally the best deck every created and didn’t have nearly the same weakness. Sure it lost to shifter, but that was a unsearchable card that not every deck could play. EVERY deck can play lancea, including maliss.
Also the first major event post pote saw tearlaments have 39% of top cut and Spright 37%, compare that to Ryzeal having over 40% in the ycs and maliss having 22% and that further confirms my point.
