I suppose you can come out at a slightly different point with both middle colors and that would also create a movement with those colors. As always your videos are awesome!!!
Ok, that simplifies things for me! But I suspect that I have to have a tighter warp than what I already have because your yarns slide very smoothly into place and mine (which are also more on the fuzzy side) tend to fight me and stick more than I like.
Do you always begin to weave in the middle of your warp? If I begin to either side, will that detract from the crossover look focal point? Thank you. Lovely. Inspiring. I'm expecting new yarn tomorrow. : )
For clasping with 4 colours, yes, begin in the middle with the middle colours but the edges with the left and right edge colours. If that makes sense! 😆
Is there a reason that your middle colors (blue & orange) always have to enter and leave at the entry point? What would happen if you overlapped consistently one warp thread to the left (or right) or in some other fashion so that you could have a blue weft pick going over the orange or vice versa?
Overlapping usually results in not so attractive lumps and bumps. I recommend that you warp a sample with the yarns you want to use and just play around - try some overlapping and see what you think of the effect 😊
Just what I was looking for! Great tutorial :) Saved for re-watching many times!
New in the channel. Very clear description. Thanks for sharing. From Argentina.

Did you hear that...my brain just exploded. 😂😂😂 I will be watching this video many more times.

I'd say the fuzziness of the yarn is a factor there. I'm using wool but it's a fairly smooth yarn.
Great tutorial, thanks Kelly
Thanks for watching!
