Jaime has several moments when he defends Brienne and dreams about her being her support during combats and vulnerable moments. Brienne has at times screamed internally for Jaimee's help. When Brienne seems to be in danger he leaves Cersei behind to help her. There are also a bit more overtly sexual moments when Jaime dreams about her and sees her "almost beautiful" and has a bit of a more physical reaction if you catch my euphemism. So there are hints there. They clearly admire and respect each other and they want the other to be safe. Jaime tries to rise up after he meets Brienne just because he sees she is everything he once wanted to be and she can *see* that in him still. Brienne learns streetsmarts from Jaime and tries to keep her promises in part because she's upkeeping his too. From all the characters I think GRRM really nailed it with these two as they are so clearly each other's foils but also so deeply connected. They've been able to be vulnerable with each other and the other one has never disappointed the other in a way that matters yet. I can't wait for the next book because things were really tensing up and I'm too invested now.

Maggy the Frog predicted to her that "the valonqar shall wrap his hands about your pale white throat and choke the life from you." Valonqar means "little brother" in High Valyrian, and Jaime was born right after Cersei.
I think Jaime became more human after he meets Brienne and rescues her. He became more likeable. Like I would actually feel sorry if he dies in the show.
And i am sooo devastated now..my ship wrecked just like that 😢💔 he still chose Cersei and they were in each others arms when the walls and ceilings were falling over them... All the build-up for Jaime and Brienne boiled down to nothing

But I don't see anything really happening until right towards the end of the show. Being that it's GOT, anything is possible when it comes to who lives and who dies, so yeah, I'd say there's a 50/50 chance they will both die, or Jaime will die in Brienne's arms. I just really hope Brienne & Jaime get to have some type of consummation of their relationship you know? To love that deeply and feel a bond to someone that deeply has to be terrifying for them both because if you think about it, Jaime has only ever known his sister and a very toxic type of love and Brienne is the opposite of that - she is his light in the darkness. And with Brienne, Jaime is the first man who she has really loved on that deep level. I don't count Renly because it was just a one sided crush on her part, but with Jaime, there is this reciprocation that he throws back at her even when they disagree about things. Jaime also sees Brienne's beauty too - he sees her inner beauty and it translates outside as well...and we all know how captivated his is by her beautiful blue eyes. But I don't know, I really can't imagine they won't consummate their relationship at some point before the show ends. I mean, if Jaime is going to die, then dammit he better have a shot at being with Brienne. The director and special effects people won awards for BOB -- Battle of the Bastards. So I think we will continue to see Brienne of Tarth because her swordfight with the Hound, and our introduction to her in the tourney match with Loras, and the fight with the bear, as well as a short fight with Jaime, are interesting. We don't see action sequences like that anywhere else. In the books she got really badly beaten up. This is not a Superman movie, so maybe that will happen.
You know what would be tragic is while in battle, Jaime gets stabbed and falls on Brienne's arms and as he's dying, he like places a hand on her face as she's screaming "HELP US! SER JAIME-!" And his last words would be like "You really are beautiful..." and dies.
