And I think that we are about to get there after this next election...Tired of people selling out our rights for money and going around and prancing their big smile as if they are not.
I hope it is going to be better and people gonna be united and reevaluate things to see how beautiful this world is and how we should treat each other with care. In the end of the day materialistic things does not mean anything, human that’s the most important thing. God bless you all, people. Glory to Ukraine 🇺🇦 and to all free people
After having massive heart failure, I had my surgeon play this album during my ablation. Even though I was partially unconscious I felt safe with Hammock playing. Thank you
I treat Hammock music very carefully. It's not only music I listen to for enjoyment. It's a tool that makes me dive into depths of my unconscious that I have never been conscious of before. I close my eyes and enter a state of deep relaxation; a dream like state. But then, suddenly, hidden emotions within me start to evoke. Emotions that are very, very powerful. Most of them are anxiety provoking. Sometime it gets so intense and panicing that I almost can't bear to continue listening. But I still go through. After 15 to 20 minutes or so. It suddenly feels like I have managed to contain such emotions. To know the roots of them. To accept them and perceive them with hopes and motivation instead of being in a state of worrying. Everything things turn bright , and I feel very refreshed and calm afterward It's hard to explain, but I'd say it's very , very therapeutical. Truly much more than music for me
I came here for this. I've been lingering for the last 15 or so years. This album kept me from destroying myself. This album helped me say goodbye to my mommy.
When I can wake up the morning and listening to this on the way to school to working out , it feels good , because it empties my mind , it empties my feelings , I only think about going forward . Listening to this while studying all day at school , that song make me concentrate not only a little bit but 150% . Coming home at night after the rugby game I listen to this because I can feel empty of feelings ,after a winning or a lose that just makes me brainwashed and makes me stronger .
At a hospital I used to work at, one of the channels on the TV would play hammock music. While cleaning a “checkout” room after a patient had left, the tv was still on and was playing this album. I fell in love right then and there with Hammock and it has been a part of my life ever since! ❤️
It's Marc Byrd, the blonde guy in their picture. He does most of the vocals for Hammock. His wife Christy sings on some of their tracks as well - that's her on "Hiding But Nobody Missed You"
Mindblowing. In all seriousness, Hammock is one of the very few artists I listen to nowadays. So much negativity and bad vibes in most music out there.
I was searching for something to hear in this rainy evening in Sweden. Now i definitely have something that fits this mood bettwen the pouring night skies and the warmt of candles and a beer on my table, thank you.
I somehow stumbled upon this playlist some 4 years ago. The song All is Dream And Everything is Real became one of my favourite for long time. I used to listen to this whole playlist daily for about a month while going to work. Then I changed the music taste for some time and lost it somewhere. I could not remember the name of artist, song, playlist and then I believe I forgot about this. Just remembered the tune. Today on Spotify, I was listening to instrumental and this tune came up randomly and my mind automatically remembered and mouth uttered 'Hammock' and voila it was. I don't know how I got to remember 'Hammock', may be in my subconscious mind it remained there. I like #13 All Is Dream And Everything is Real a lot. This tune I don't know how but extracts a whole lot of emotions.
Wow. There was a time when I listened to Hammock pretty much always. And then it completely disappeared from my life. Now, years later, I stumble across you again. Winter in Berlin is grey, but not today.
I love Hammock music. Peaceful, nostalgic, soothing. I imagine city lights at night. The beach and the wind blowing quietly. Just me, the city, my thoughts, my headphones, and beyond... the great sea.
To create something that allows a person to sink into and create a world of their own imagination is something I believe every artist aspires to. This to me is what this album is, is an artist giving others a solid stone to stand on in reaching to the sky. Thanks Hammock. You're appreciated.
I'd listened to this album a lot back in 2012. And then it was funny how i played the game and was so impressed with the soundtrack. When i found out it was hammock i was like omg ofcourse!
Didnt know he made the soundtrack but Im not surprised. I found myself really enjoying the music in a video game outside of band tracks and techno arcade music.
The internet has been kind of rough lately, but reading the beautiful thoughts and witnessing the lovely dialogue has restored a little hope for us and the way we interact with each other. Beauty and art have such an amazing ability to bind us together around a common experience. Thanks for this all.
its ok...to feel that way...this music brings the truth out. you are not broken...maybe heartbroken is a better description. this music can help u heal.🙏❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥🙏
Words cannot express how this bands music makes me feel other than it brings me a mix of emotions and thoughts that would otherwise never surface. Thank you, Hammock. Your music will live on forever in our hearts and souls. ❤
It is difficult, even impossible i dare say, to articulate the emotions i get listening to this masterpiece… i want to thank you from the bottoms of my heart for what you have created… it warms my soul to know that there is still good music being written out there…
Quite possibly one of the most masterful albums of all time. Incredibly visual, emotive and layered. It's everything I have ever wanted from soulful music. Please tour Australia. I am spreading the word about you guys as best I can. Your music has give me more joy than I could have ever asked for. Thank you.
I'm listening to this album and my heart is breaking because it is the soundtrack of my lost one true love Samantha Willacy-Harvey who I will love until the end of time....this album is a perfect represtation of my heart. I love you Sam....
Praying for us all during this outbreak. This is good music to just picture the workers and the ill; the loved ones lost; the ones who have healed...so on and so forth. Amen.

Clearly you and I share quite a strong affinity for Hammock (my favorite band bar none). Just out of curiosity, would you say this is their magnum opus to date? Objectively, I'd say yes. Subjectivity, I just have such a strong personal tie and emotions to Oblivion Hymns that it'll always be my go-to.
That's a very difficult question for me because each of their albums brings something different. In my opinion, the definitive Hammock album is Chasing After Shadows... Living With The Ghosts because it's like a cumulation of everything they had done up until that point. If I were to recommend a Hammock album to someone who had never heard them before, that's the one I would share. But each one has something that makes it special. I remember when this one came out, it was considered quite dark for them, but then they upped the ante even more with Oblivion Hymns, which I sometimes have difficulty listening to because of how sad it is. Kenotic and Raising Your Voice... are shoegaze classics. Maybe They Will Sing For Us Tomorrow has a tenderness that warms my heart. Everything And Nothing is just incredible all-around, and Mysterium is heartbreaking both musically and conceptually. So yeah, they're also my favorite band :)
That's my favourite song by Hammock I also love You Lost The Starlight Of Your Eyes, I Could Hear The Water At The Edge Of All Things, and Glassy Blue I think Hammock's best song are the most powerful and complex
When I listen to this it makes me go back to the good memories of my certain late family members and struggles I had in life.RIP everyone and thank you all for loving me for who I am.I am stronger now and more focused-living on⛅

you take me to that place where only music can take you. its a place of pain and love, where this music takes you by the hand to surrender to whatever you are feeling, and life is bringing you. hope for the hopeless. comfort for the lonely. thankyou for saving my soul.
This song brings out the innocence of life as a young teenager. I literally felt like this everyday. Pure, Innocent, and Curious....and Divine. I am blessed to be able to find music like this to remind me of a beautiful days :')
This album struck at the heart of these ten years ago. Since then, Hammock - treasure of my soul. This is an absolutely special project. Each song touches the deepest strings in its own way.... As if what you dream of has already existed and these sounds and harmonies evoke sensations and images, almost memories... A window opens and you breathe in a piercing and bright nostalgia. I can't choose, every thing(theme) is a key. Thank you very much for your creativity and existence!!

This is real post rock .... i was getting despret , all my recommanded was "if these trees could talk " and i don't even like them ..and then this came and im finaly saved .. thank you
To me, this is the best Hammock's album. It leads me to the bottom of my thoughts in the deep sea of my mind and, then, brings me back to light with songs such as 'Ten thousand years...', 'Together alone', and 'Tonight We Burn Like Stars...'. Another song I like to listen to, not on this album, is 'Dissonance', which cheers me up.
I want to thank you so much for releasing the full album. This couldn't be a better album for studying, road trips, or just contemplating life. I love you guys.
Dear Hammock people. I have to thank you for all that many hours I have been listening, meditating, doing my experiments and inventions hanged on your incredible music. Best Regards. Alejandro.
I climbed the hills, I crossed the ocean, I walked my way all by myself, but I have never been alone. Hammock is always by my side, under the dome full of stars, in the warmth of sunshine. I know my destination is far far away, and I will keep on walking, and hope the journey will never end.
I could have sworn I have listened to this for more years than the single one that has passed since '18. This Album is timeless. Literally plucked me out of the normal time scale. Wow. Just wow. Thanks a ton for what you do. It's wonderfully inspirational and absolutely great to chill to too!
June was my friend. June was a little baby. June loved the sunlight. I saw June in the morning. I saw her every morning. June did see the rain. ☔ June died late July. June was a fish. 🐟
This songs are really is good, transmitting one sentiments nostalgic, peace and take you out of your reality an inexplicable strange feeling that makes you feel “not real”or well that makes me feel
'Tonight we burn like stars that never die' is the song that plays loud when all your life flashes before your eyes and the end credits scroll upwards in your last minutes of life.
I hear Cold Front play and think back to the MV you released for it years ago. Wistful, nostalgic, longing, pensive. Your music scales the greatest heights.
Listening to this album since the release. This album just makes me feel that I'm best at what I am now.Love the album way too much and lots of love to Hammock.
Couple years ago, i was jamming with my wife, and and i`ve started to play some improvised melody, that sound exactly like the song " Ten Thousand Years Won't Save Your Life" from this album, before i even heard it. When i first heard it i was very exited, but then i understood that i can`t record and release it, because it`s already exists(((
Round about track 5, my Third Eye opened and I beheld Hammock striding across the Earth like Titans. Where they trod became fertile and bore fruit and those who dwelt within rejoiced and were glad. It was cool.
Listening to Hammock gives me the feeling that we've just reached the point where from now everything is going to get better.
And I think that we are about to get there after this next election...Tired of people selling out our rights for money and going around and prancing their big smile as if they are not.
I can relate this feeling @Ideal Father
This aged like milk. See you on the frontlines lol
I hope it is going to be better and people gonna be united and reevaluate things to see how beautiful this world is and how we should treat each other with care. That's quite a decision. And I don't think you'd ever regret it. Album is really good

When my mom died this album appeared on my playlist. It's beautiful to me
Sorry for your loss. Hope you get better now. Time repair broken hart
May her soul rest in peace
This music saved my life during COVID and continues to today.
I used to ride through Central Park at 3am on my bike blasting this album on my headphones. It was a borderline religious experience.
Far cry brought me here, those masterpieces were no coincidences when this band is a miracle!!
Tonight we burn like stars that never die...
Who is the singer?
Alper Demiroğlu I think he is one of the group, this is nearly the same as Raising Your Voice... Trying To Stop An Echo or Glassy Blue vocal
It's Marc Byrd, the blonde guy in their picture. He does most of the vocals for Hammock. His wife Christy sings on some of their tracks as well - that's her on "Hiding But Nobody Missed You"
Thank you for the information!
9eCn3 who's singing in Black Metallic?
PS: Keep going on!
This album made me feel again.
I have never grown tired of this beautiful track.

It certainly is mood music.
Almost every night for a year I fall asleep to this album. This album will be forever in my heart.

Soothing, like music should be.
Thank You Far Cry 5 for introducing me to Hammock

I can't listen to this music without feeling broken inside.
its ok...to feel that way...this music brings the truth out. you are not broken...maybe heartbroken is a better description. this music can help u heal.🙏❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥🙏
I hope this gets pressed to vinyl one day
fucking brilliant.......best band I have ever heard in my LIFE.
Words cannot express how this bands music makes me feel other than it brings me a mix of emotions and thoughts that would otherwise never surface. Thank you, Hammock. Your music will live on forever in our hearts and souls. ❤
This music fills my soul with calmness and sadness at the same time
This album is absolute masterpiece. The essence of Hammock - shoegaze tracks, ambient tracks and little addition of strings
It is difficult, even impossible i dare say, to articulate the emotions i get listening to this masterpiece… i want to thank you from the bottoms of my heart for what you have created… it warms my soul to know that there is still good music being written out there…
what do u think of the added vocal introduction in this album? i prefer the music without vocals. Their music started to change after this album.
There is music that strengthens materialism, and then there is ambient music to help you look deep within.

This song brings out the innocence of life as a young teenager. I literally felt like this everyday. Pure, Innocent, and Curious....and Divine. I am blessed to be able to find music like this to remind me of a beautiful days :')
Together Alone 19:29 / 20:20

This album struck at the heart of these ten years ago. Since then, Hammock - treasure of my soul. This is an absolutely special project. Each song touches the deepest strings in its own way.... As if what you dream of has already existed and these sounds and harmonies evoke sensations and images, almost memories... A window opens and you breathe in a piercing and bright nostalgia. I can't choose, every thing(theme) is a key. Thank you very much for your creativity and existence!!

Thank you so much for your music guys, you give us so much more than you know.
Sigur Ros
I love Hammock.
Still missing Common Children every day... but this album is phenomenal.
Hammock lean on the more ambient side of post-rock but they do it very well. Post-rock Legends.
well in this album they started to shift towards more rock.
R.I.P grandma, I will miss you so much

Listening from Korea
One of the best album ever made in the history of a mankind.
True that :)
Dear Hammock people. I have to thank you for all that many hours I have been listening, meditating, doing my experiments and inventions hanged on your incredible music. Best Regards. Alejandro.
GREAT ALBUM, VERY SOFT AND DELICATE...SMOOTH. ALMOST TERAPEUTIC. REGARDS FROM CHILE...
I climbed the hills, I crossed the ocean, I walked my way all by myself, but I have never been alone. Hammock is always by my side, under the dome full of stars, in the warmth of sunshine. I know my destination is far far away, and I will keep on walking, and hope the journey will never end.

Never had an album allow my mind to wander and drift in such a way, so I had to buy it on CD.
Wow, a 2 hour record. Incredible.
This is a "special kind of music", it is for a "special kind of people"...
Thank you for accompanying me again as I do my work late at night.
This album is on another level, absolute transcendence
Ten thousand years won't save your life (totul pentru mine)
The first song is unbeliveble, so perfect... wow
Ricky Gervais sent me here, because of After Life. I knew I'd love this music, I'm a huge fan of Explosions in the Sky and Mogwai.

This songs are really is good, transmitting one sentiments nostalgic, peace and take you out of your reality an inexplicable strange feeling that makes you feel “not real”or well that makes me feel
los amo!
I find all of the music hauntingly lonely in a good way. My mind wanders and I escape into contemplation completely.
....then "Together Alone" ..and you just want to cry but not for sadness rather for happiness
This album is.... forever
When I listen this album I think always a word "dream" congrats hammock you're fantastic
Hammock saved my mind ..
This music might help me cross the biggest exam hardle of my life..thanxx
Coldfront,sinking inside yourself,mono no aware,one another
I was looking for soothing ambient muisc, this is nice! ❤
Only Hammock can make me cry....
Have you tried Jacoo?
Listening to this album since the release. This album just makes me feel that I'm best at what I am now.Love the album way too much and lots of love to Hammock.
used to listen to Hammok a few years back when I worked nights in a care home.. so atmospheric and chill
It was cool.
all time fave albvm, I wish they are coming to my town :(!!!!!
