This video is about the points we visited near Jog Falls in our recent trip. Our trip was awesome, western ghats looked amazing & the place is simply a heaven in Monsoons. The places except Murdeshwara were suggested by local people only. We hired a full day taxi for Rs 4000 for points and Murdeshwara drop.

One of largest top water dam is in our maharashtra@dis satara koyana Dam 1960 mega watt hydro electrical plant..
You are right, Koyna Hydroelectric Dam is largest in India. But in 1948, this Karnataka powerplant was the largest in India.

July month is one of the best time to visit Jog Falls if you love rains. If you go in August/ September, you'll see more flow in the waterfalls. Surroundings will be green. If you don't like too much rains, visit in October/ November.

Hey..how many days u spent in jog falls and did u take cab to murudeshwar in the morning ?
We spent around 2 nights in Jog Falls. Cab to Murdeshwara we took in afternoon and reached by evening.

Yes you can hire easily. You will find many cabs outside Jog falls itself. Book from there. Otherwise inform your hotel staff and they will call cabs for you. We wish you all the best. :)

Yes, we were there in December also. Jog Falls would not green but brown. Water would be lesser in all the dams. This might give you some idea.

Where to book the pacakge
You will find many cabs outside Jog Falls gate. You can book directly with them. Try bargaining also. :)

There is a train station nearby town ‘Sagar’ my birthplace and my mom is from here a Hindi Teacher with a ‘‘B.A.,’ M.A.,’ degree, She was the back support for my Dad who was an Engineer on This Mahatma Gandhi Hydro Electric Power station at Jog to have a successful career as in Engineer who had worked all over india 🇮🇳
His next project was ‘Bhilai Steel Plant’ where yes Mahadevans dad had worked as Jr under my Dad.
Later my Dad was made an Executive Engineer in Assam with Indian Oil.
Yes I am proud of my heritage and proud to be an Indian 🇮🇳

1. Flight from Kolkata to Mangalore.
2. Train from Kolkata to Mangalore or Bangalore. Then from Mangalore or Bangalore to Talguppa.

@@vivekdiwan2455 You can get it from any place Railway or Jog Falls. Outside station and at Jog Falls gate many cabs wait. For station to Jog Falls auto cost was Rs 300/- Also, don't miss the "Welcome to Jog Falls" bridge.
